I really liked this year as i got to learn a lot and i am really happy with how this year with Funtech went. Also the tutor was great and i really appreciate how he encouraged me through it and how he gave me advice to practice. Overall, this year has been great with Funtech.

PC04 - yet another general purpose AMAZING funtech course

Throughout PC04, we learnt about the programming language C++, which is quite a step up from Python, especially because we have the same content as PC01 and PC02 bundled into one course where you learn these techniques in a new language. Throughout PC04, we learnt about the programming language C++, which is quite a step up from Python, especially because we have the same content as PC01 and PC02 bundled into one course where you learn these techniques in a new language. Presumably, this is for PC05, where you start making games in C++. But though it was a step up from Python, I blazed through the content because of my tutor Toru, who was happy to help when I got stuck. I will definitely do PC05 next year, and I would wholly recommend FunTech as the sole competitor for getting your kids into coding.

I felt like I learnt alot over my time doing IGCSE Computer Science with FunTech. I really enjoyed this year with FunTech and learning about all aspects of computer science. I wish everyone good luck for their future endeavours.

I found this course extremely interesting, all the content was new to me and the tutors were amazing at explaining everything. I found that each term we were learning different things and it was nice to be able to link them all together at the end. I particularly enjoyed the final term where we looked at AI, Sound and Effects which allowed you to polish projects. I thought that throughout the content was extremely well explained, often going into depth as to why we do things rather than just how and never found it to be rushed through. If I found anything confusing the tutors were sure to help me with it or recap if needed. All the projects were really well structured and by the end of each term I felt confident in each area!

Overall my experience with fintech was fantastic, of course it there were areas i found challenging, but i absolutely loved it and hope to do it more in the future!!

First Year at Funtech A Level

Very good first year being taught the year 1 content for CompSci A-Level. The lessons were intresting and it rarley felt boring or slow-paced. Looking forward to completing my NEA in the coming month as well.

Really Good!

I wanted to learn how to code and this course has helped me achieve this. Towards the end of TechStarter & TotalTech FastTrack course I learnt how to code a micro:bit and code with Construct 3! I look forward to next year course. Thank you to my teachers and mentors.

Funtect is a really fun course to do and I really recommend it and other kids will really enjoy it and find it very interesting!

Good, informational lessons, some more fun than others. I preferred the excel lessons than MySQL lessons, but overall a good year.

The whole year has been very good. I have learned lots about c++ quickly and the teaching was very good. I have enjoyed learning about the different aspects and the longer challenges we have done recently were very fun.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Funtech this year and I have learnt a huge amount of useful things, whether its on databases, word processing or spreadsheets. The tutors have made learning really fun and engaging for me and I look forward to my next course with Funtech.

My time learning python was very good. I was helped a lot when, when I was stuck with something I would get separate help to consolidate my knowledge.
I found this very good. I also found the catch up sessions when I missed a lesson very good. Overall it was brilliant.

Fun Year in PureCoder 5

This year I learned a lot in Unreal Engine during pure coder level 5. The tutors were great, and so were the classes. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn more about game development.

I found these course very fascinating, learning the ins and outs of game development and understanding how many of the things you would overlook whilst casually playing games actually are formed using python. The tutor was absolutely brilliant, very positive and always there to give you a hand. The course had a smooth learning curve and gradually got harder but the more difficult features were explained more in depth and therefore made it easier to understand. Great course overall!

This course at FunTech helps students gain a better understanding of python using classes, data bases and some fun challenges along the way. If you are uncertain with any aspect of the course the tutors are very helpful and enjoy helping the students in the lesson. And if you believe that you are unsure about the topic being covered the tutor will book a prep session for free to help you gain a better understanding and secure your learning. There are also other challenges there for you to access if you want to gain some more practice. The small amount of 50 minutes a week builds up throughout the year and now I believe I can code using the stuff covered in this course confidently.
