I have enjoyed FunTech PC03 because I have learned so many new skills and it was an unforgettable experience. There have been some moments where I don't understand a unit but Funtech has been there to help me with that.

I mean, coding in excel? HOW DO YOU FIND THAT OUT!?!?!) in all seriousness, LET US HAVE THE SAME GROUP FOR NEXT YEAR (Which does mean same tutor) thx funtech. see you next year

This was a very exciting year with lots of different programs in use and lots of interesting. They have all been extremely fun and I have learnt so much over the past school year. I am really hoping that I can do it again next year and I hope I use lots of new programs as well. Before these lessons I had never used lots of the programs such as Photoshop, Excel and Sql workbench just to name a few. I cannot wait to learn more about new and exciting programs full of thrilling coding and lots of problem solving. Thank you Funtech for an amazing year of coding and I am so happy to have been with you for the year.

I have had an amazing time doing this FunTech course it has been so much fun and I have learnt a lot of new stuff and have developed a lot of new skills. This has been an amazing year I have had an amazing opportunity . -T

a great way to learn coding from start to end

the fast track covers everything from getting information and printing right up to using external windows like graphs and tkinter. All of the sessions are covered very well and even if they arent, prep lessons are avaible if it wasnt working the first time.

Funtech - A Review

This year has been very fun. One of my favorite parts was creating my own table on what I wanted (I did books) today. Of course I put my in-progress book as rated 11/10. The banter and chat was fun as well. There were many other fun times throughout the year but a can't recall them at this moment.

This course has been really helpful to me in getting started with some more complicated Python coding concepts and is useful to me when starting A-Level Computer Science. Most of the content learnt can be found in my courses so now I am at an advantage when taking them, it is great. The overall tutoring was good and the help is efficient and easy to understand once explained, if I didn't understand something at first. I would definitely recommend this course.

These terms were really fun!

I found learning python interesting and new for me and I had lots of fun learning it and making games! There were parts i struggled on but they were all explained really well and helped me develop my learning even further! Thank you for the wonderful lessons! :D

Python

Funtech has taught me how to code in python. This has been really useful to learn and is good experience for me. We learnt tkinter, pygame and even networking to create multiplayer games. This was a good course and I would definitely recommend doing this.

Overall this year with funtech has been really nice. My teachers were really kind and my lesson varied with interesting information. Funtech is really fun and I wish to have more lessons in the future.

The tutor was also very nice, always willing to help people out no matter what they were stuck on, and there is really nothing to dislike about it. I am looking forward to PCO3.

Brilliant

It was a brilliant course, we learnt tkinter which is a GUI and abstract data types and pathfinding algorithms. This was a brilliant course with excellent projects such as Pac-Man with levels, Battleships and a working Login Form.

My daughter enjoyed Hackathon very much and felt that she learned a lot during that week. The staff and the instructors were wonderful. My only issue with the Barbican location is that they were stuck indoors the entire day due to the lack of outdoor space. It happened to be one of the hottest weeks of the summer too. Ideally, it would have been great to have some proper screen breaks outside, but I understand why that was difficult, given the location.

For a child that doesn't like being away from home, he enjoyed himself and in the latter part of the week didn't feel the need to call home in the evening. My son took part in the 3D Game design virtual week course. He thoroughly enjoyed it, and was engaged throughout and has developed new skills and confidence while completing the course. The course has ignited his imagination and boosted his enthusiasm for game design. The tutor was very supportive, knowledgeable and competent and inspirational. On the final day doing their individual projects it would have been nice for the students to have enough time to show each other their game design to see how others had used the course to develop their own game ideas. Overall, the course was a huge success and I would definitely recommend it to those interested in game design.
