It was a very fun course this year, we created a lot of different codes that did fun things!

It was for the most part pretty free of technical issues, although at the beginning there were some caused by Linux, and a few other issues that were solved quickly.

I really enjoyed coding with Funtech, especially the Python courses, where we were taught many useful things.

This has by far been my favourite part my time with Funtech. I've always had a deep love for game creation and I'm very thankful that I have to opportunity to deepen my skills here. It would be great if it could incorporate 2D game design aswell! All-in-all, it was very fun!

This year I have had the pleasure to code with funtech. The lessons not only made my weekend better also is allowing the to do my GCSE's next year. Not only that, the tutors are always kind and funtech is unbeaten in the ways they help you learn and how helpful the tutors are if you need help.

at first itv was difficult until i got more and more experianced than i was soon i did very well and had fun alot of fun but since it may be my last day one funtech i would miss all the tutors

I genuinely feel like this course has given me a greater understanding of not only C++ or Unreal Engine, but how code itself functions. This course was very helpful, however sometimes the timings were inconvenient, which was my only real complaint along this journey.

Really fun

I really did like this course. The code my hero course was really fun and definitely my favourite and I will most certainly use these tools in the future to code my own games and websites! I found that some topics or units weren't as captivating as others but that is personal preference.

I like how FunTech teaches C++ . I'm glad I was taught the way I was. They made it very easy to understand and the visuals in the explanation videos really accelerated the learning process!

this year the coding we did got more challenging and i found that really good as i got to challenge myself. the last project we did was also really interesting and i enjoyed seeing everything iv learnt being put in a code and seeing it work. overall it was a nice and fun.

FunTech always delivers with creative and informative sessions. They have lots of experienced coders that are always ready to provide you with a better understanding about each topic that you are finding difficulties with. FunTech is a well-established tech company with a variety of courses. For instance, PureCoder, TechPro, and Summer Camps. I've been a FunTech student for 5 years, since Winter 2020. It had never disappointed me. Rather, it has been quite fascinating, learning new coding techniques and topics that will help you in the future if you are interested in Computer Science.

The topics learnt this term were more difficult than the ones we've learnt earlier, but the videos given added an explanation on how to go about the programs. The dijkstra one was something I found to be challenging, however my tutor made sure I understood it with time. The edit-its helped as they showed me how to correct errors in a program or what to add. The questions at the beginning of every session helped recap what we learnt previously, enabling me to move forward. Furthermore, my the screen-share allowed my tutor to help me which I found to be useful especially with longer pieces of code.

Year review of funtech

Good, informational lessons, some more fun than others. I preferred the excel lessons than MySQL lessons, but overall a good year.

I like gaming, football and swimming.

I liked to do the beats in abelton live.

A great place to improve your programming capabilities

FunTech has helped me a lot on my coding Adventure and has taught me how to code excellently. All of the tutors are great at teaching and are nice and supportive. Not to mention that they make programming very enjoyable.

Overall, I think it was a very solid course. I learnt a lot of useful things in an engaging format (everything coming together and leading up to a joint final project which is itself already a fun idea - a game).

My Year at FunTech

There were loads of good points about Funtech as I had a fun time as well as being educated thoroughly. The quiz at the start of each week lets me remember what I had learnt and in conclusion, I had a wonderful time at Funtech and hope to see them again soon!

Last year I had no idea how to code a thing, coming to Funtech, I now know so much to do with coding. Funtech has given me an opportunity to create games, draw things using a mouse, and learn how to define functions all by code. I now realise that there is so much to coding. My favourite part of the course purecoder level 1 was when we had to edit an adventure game where the user has to make decisions to be safe and get through the jungle. Or using turtle. I just think it would be a little bit better if they gave us online notes or PDFs to hold onto with all of what we have learnt. Overall, I have learnt a lot from the Funtech course and I would recommend it to other children who want to start learning how to code.

I enjoyed this course and my favourite topic was Adobe Photoshop, as I learnt lots of things I can use in school and in general for editing photos. It was difficult to use at the start and very easy to get confused, but now I can make and edit photos. I liked Illustrator and the skills we learnt were very useful, we made logos and icons and tutor feedback was very beneficial. Animate was fun to do as it was more artistic and creative, whereas Dreamweaver was less creative and more thinking. Dreamweaver was really interesting and cool to build websites! Dreamweaver could be difficult at times but my tutors were very patient and helped me to understand the concept. When we did Word and Excel, I already new lots of things but I learnt far more and fin the skills we learnt very useful. Databases was interesting and could be difficult to follow and understand but once you knew what you were doing it was fine. Finally it was SQL, which was very hard to understand at times but my tutors really helped!

The year was overall really fun and although at some points difficult it worked out at the end.

A Great Introduction to C++

Throughout the year we learnt all the essentials of C++ in an engaging way and it is a great basis to go off for future personal projects. You are always able to ask questions or ask for extra help/clarification when needed.

FunTech puts the f in fun

I had a great time and I most enjoyed getting familiar with the key board because it also got me in the top 5 in fastest typing in my class, we even made fully functional video games!

I have enjoyed funtech this term and have understood the topics.

Word/Excel/SQL

I have really enjoyed working on word excel and MySQL this year . I found word the easiest and MySQL the most challenging but also fun at the same time.

Quite a good course.

This has been a truly fun course slightly challenging but not to much my favorite part was probably doing the turtle coding , parameters , functions and list.
Both tutors where great and helped me understand new concepts. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this course.
