I've liked to keep my weekly student feedbacks short, and I will for this too. This was a very fun course, despite all my technical and school issues. I would recommend!

My Review of this Funtech year

Very fun and I am pleased to say that I now understand how to use C++, from absolutely no knowledge at all

This course at FunTech helps students gain a better understanding of python using classes, data bases and some fun challenges along the way. If you are uncertain with any aspect of the course the tutors are very helpful and enjoy helping the students in the lesson. And if you believe that you are unsure about the topic being covered the tutor will book a prep session for free to help you gain a better understanding and secure your learning. There are also other challenges there for you to access if you want to gain some more practice. The small amount of 50 minutes a week builds up throughout the year and now I believe I can code using the stuff covered in this course confidently.

PureCoder - Level 2 Course review

I very much enjoyed this year with FunTech, as I learnt about various different programs and how to code them. Overall it has been a great experience and I would definitely recommend this course to any other aspiring programmers.

GREAT course with funtech

FunTech has helped me to improve my knowledge about computers, they are very detailed on managing every child and is always checking up on my progress when I need help the most.

Amazing class!

Amazing class! I never thought I would learn so much in this course. Everything was very interesting. Knowing how a CPU works or internet protocols made me discover so much on how the machine I use so much actually works.

A Level

The A Level course was good! I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. The teacher was super helpful; they explained the content multiple times when needed, which I found really beneficial and were very kind and open.

Had a great year learning about AI but also a lot of different weird and interesting stuff about different areas of computer science. My tutor, Lucasz, was great and helped me a lot with any questions I had.

I really enjoyed the Pure Coder Level 5 course, where I learned how to use Unreal Engine 5 to create games. I would strongly recommend this course to others. I particularly enjoyed the last term, where we learned how to create realistic animations and use Artificial Intelligence in games. My tutor, Teague, has been brilliant at explaining all the concepts and helping me when I was stuck with something during a challenge. This course is a lot more challenging and demanding compared to the FunTech courses I have done previously. For example, during term 2, I had to have preps/catch-ups quite frequently due to the amount of content that had to be covered in the course. However, I still give the course a 5/5 star rating, as I think that the content we learned in the lessons and the way the lessons were taught was spectacular. Thank you, FunTech, for a great year!

PCO4 Year Review

I really enjoyed this year, it was fun to learn another coding language apart from Python and I will be continuing to PCO5 next year!

Learning Python

My time learning python was very good. I was helped a lot when, when I was stuck with something I would get separate help to consolidate my knowledge.
I found this very good. I also found the catch up sessions when I missed a lesson very good. Overall it was brilliant.

Overall my FunTech session was very good. Word was good. We learnt how to use the secrets of word. For example using macros. They allow you to program a button or a key to do many items. Spreadsheets was very good. You learnt how to use many different commands to search through lots of data. Finally MySQL allowed you to have a look at the different side of coding. Allowing you to use diagrams and again many different commands to order bits of data or count the amounts etc.

It was amazing. I want to say a big thank you to every one who helped put it together - from the IT support to the teachers- thank you for making it the best computing lessons ever . Luckily , I am doing it next year . A big shout out to Awen who helped me through the year.

PCO1 FastTrack

Over the course, I have improved my coding skills, which I am grateful for, as it was my first dream to code and output many different but fascinating things. Friendly and helpful, I really recommend it!

My Funtech review

It was a very great opportunity to be a part of Funtech from 2020 to 2024, I would recommend this course to anybody interested in technology and coding as a whole, I can't wait for what is to come next year.

A great place to improve your programming capabilities

FunTech has helped me a lot on my coding Adventure and has taught me how to code excellently. All of the tutors are great at teaching and are nice and supportive. Not to mention that they make programming very enjoyable.
