Summary of my thoughts

The whole course was very informative, with the tutors always there to help anyone who was struggling. The tasks were engaging but maybe there could have been more extension tasks to do.

This pygame course was difficult but taught me a lot of meanings and left me with pages of code i can reference back on. It taught us how to solve some common errors and by the end on the extensions we did some interesting stuff like making our own sprites, backgrounds and our enemies to shoot. It was an interesting and helpful course in general but felt a bit slow at some points.

It was great but not the best in the world but FUN

Good course

I liked the course and it was very fun. I thought that the teacher could of gone a bit slower but the noise slowly went down. It was tricky on day one but it got easier over the days. Overall I enjoyed it.

funtech summer camps

it was fun because i always wanted to make my own blocks, mobs, dimetions and animal farms.

My Funtech Experience

I have really enjoyed my time learning to build a Roblox Game with my Funtech Tutor. I have especially enjoyed making my own obby. Throughout this course I have used most of the necessary components in my game.

Amzing

was a super fun experience of python. doing, it was sometimes challenging to keep you busy and i have learned alot. The host was friendly and always ready to help as well as this, the lessons were. well organised. Overall, i had a lot of fun.

It was fun.

The camp was really enjoyable, and we learnt a lot of Python. The tutors were very helpful, but still let you do it yourself. I would recommend it.

Fun and Educational, but a bit too long.

The course was generally fun and engaging. The tutor was very nice and helpful and explained things in a simple way and was always happy to help. However, I felt that the lesson went on a bit too long, and in my opinion I think a slightly shorter lesson would be better.

I loved coding in python with Scott. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! The tutors are helpful and understanding. I had a great time!

Summary of the Fun-tech Camp!

It was a really fun experience with an amiable atmosphere that complimented the python work. My favourite topics were if statements and user inputs. Overall the great teaching, the easy to understand material and the great environment contributes to a healthy passion for python.

I really enjoyed this!

I really enjoyed the python coder camp, which really helped me develop my coding skills. It was really well taught and easy to understand.

FUNtech review

In this course i learnt a lot and it was very fun. I enjoyed this camp a lot and a would have given this a six star if i could. Very good to learn Python and gives some freedom too. Would recommend to anyone. :)

It is informative, yet fun, you cover a wide range of topics, I would recomend it to anyone.Their tutors are fanntastic too.

Fun and good result

Very good. I learnt lots and my game result was really good and it was fun. The tutor was very good, but he didn't offer extra lessons which other tutors have.

Game Developer

FunTech was really fun and enjoyable. You learn alot of new things (like I did) and get to create a really cool game only using python code! Some bits were really fun , like when we got to create our own sprite and when we play the game. I suggest you try it out because you would have a great time!

it was verry good . it made my dream and i had soooo much fun

Very fun and informative.

I learned alot on this course, and the tutor was very helpful. The instructions for setting up the coding environment and the meeting was very easy. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to learn the basics of Java, or just wants to code their own thing.

I wanted to give it a 3.5- There was not an option. The first day was filled with recapitalisation that I found extremely useful and easy to follow. Over the next days we zoomed through making a basic game, we were ahead of the schedule-however I wished we went a tad slower as I would of liked so...

I wanted to give it a 3.5- There was not an option. The first day was filled with recapitalisation that I found extremely useful and easy to follow. Over the next days we zoomed through making a basic game, we were ahead of the schedule-however I wished we went a tad slower as I would of liked some of the individual lines explained. Either way I was still after which I am grateful for. In the second week we made our games unique, we were supported by the teacher and had plenty of fun! Overall the one thing that I assume would happen in normal circumstances -that did not happen- was seeing each other... if some of the other students had cameras on , and if we played each others games, I believe it would be even better! Thank you !!!

A very good course with some disruption from others

The course and its contents were very enjoyable, and the tutor was very nice. However, there was some disruption from the other pupils in the first few days (but these will likely vary overall due to the different classmates).

It was very fun

At first there were a few bugs and glitches but they were quickly fixed and after that it was amazing. I learnt a lot of coding and had a great time. 3D game design was very exiting and interesting.

I have never done java before, but I had had fun at FunTech before, so it was great, how I learned a completely different coding language.
I quite enjoyed it overall, (besides my technical issues and having to use the virtual stuff) and I recommend this course to people who want to learn java (not with the pandemic either), I loved how it was almost a non-virtual course, and how a lot came out of it! It was a great 5 days, and I managed to get most of it done. :D

My time doing funtech was amazing it was a bit frustrating with the glitches but the more it happened the quicker it was to resolve i will definatly do this again
