Funtech has taught me so many new skills during my time this week! It was very fun and we had multiple screen breaks every day! At first I found it hard work but by the end I understood everything. I really enjoyed the end of day projects as well! I'd recommend Roblox Funtech course to anyone who likes hard work, and fun!

I had fun.

the whole week was amazing and I had lots of fun. In lunch when it is raining we play card games or khoot .

it was a little hard to undestand but apart from that i loved it

really fun modding minecrat was new and cool they had end of the day rewards were cool the only problem was that i think the days were too long like 8 hours for one day is insane but still good.

Sorta fun but learned a lot.

I learned a lot from this course about cybersecurity and hacking and made friends who have similar interests. I recommend this to teens and tweens who love tech and want to push themselves and stay safe at the same time.

Joe is a very good teacher.

Lessons have been easy and simple to understand. As said before, Joe is a very good teacher and deserves a promotion.

Alex's FunTech Java - Coder Review

I have greatly enjoyed this Java camp the entire 2 weeks, although I have had Eclipse / Bomgar issues from time to time.

Playing games and a class project

I liked playing the games I created. I wish we could do a class project so I can have fun with other kids and make new friends. And maybe out teacher can also play and go on an adventure with us like protect stuff in a village or castle.

Fun maybe lacked advanced coding.

I had a really great time coding in minecraft, discovering new things and making fun minigames! I wanted to learn more codes. I also rather liked how we got some independence to do things we wanted, but also sometimes some challenges to complete. Overall it was so funnn

The classes were fun, especially Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, (as there were more explanations rather than just the video witch gets shown once, and the material was more fun as we finished learning the basics) I met a lot of great people and I honestly wasn't too keen on the course before coming, but it turned out to be quite good. Though sometimes during the lunch breaks we had nothing too special to do, due to the varying ages, everyone wanted to do different things.

Roblox design course

The whole course was amazing even though somethings were very very hard. I also made two friends called Milli and Sienna.

I really liked funtech

I really enjoyed doing the course, especially with being able to write it and see how it worked. I have to say I found some parts hard, but being able to ask the tutor any questions was really helpful. I also really liked how they would not tell you the answer but help you find the answer yourself.

Challenging but fun

I liked the python course because even though we started off simple it got quite interesting and the last two days where we got to do pretty hard coding challenges was my favourite part. The teacher was also really nice.

it was really fun and arianna is super fun! i really enjoyed her as our tutor. i will really miss doing this because i have made such great friends during it. it was so fun and i wish that if i ever do this again, i get the same tutor and classmates. the learning we have done has expanded my interest in coding and has inspired me to be a coder when i grow up. My only thing is that they could make the lessons even more interesting with game challenges. apart from that, my experience at funtech was incredible and I am exited to do it again next year!

FunTech AI ML course

I learnt loads of new things and made some really cool AI programmes.

AI - Machine Learning

I found the course very good and it was a new experience for me and we learnt how to do a lot of chatbots and learning the use of parameters and neural networks. I am more confident with using python now :)

Best review I had done in a long time.

I would would of put 4.5 (but it didn't allow me to).
This was a fun course. The bomgar was very convenient. The tutor was helpful and the student portal interface was very friendly and easy to understand.

I'm really glad to have taken this course and learned valuable skills along the way.

purecoder 2 review

i had done some other funtech courses which made school computer science very easy for me, and purecoder 2 has taught me more advanced things. our tutor helped us and stayed after class a bit to make sure we had the code and understood it and taught well.

the year at funtech was really beneficial for me. I learnt and spread my understanding of computers and different computer process and what goes on inside of them. it has helped me remember and will be a great impact on me when i do my computer science GCSE's in the future.

Overall, it was good, however, some content may need to be covered slower.

I quite enjoyed the coding but I don't think I can continuing next year because it's quite expensive but I have learnt all need to which I appreciate.

This year I have found the course to be a lot better structured, which is a significant improvement. I appreciate the repeated checks between videos and mini quizzes to check I understand concepts. However, in the future, I believe that the course would be bettered by having more material for students to look over in their personal time, like a textbook you would have at school to refer to. This would ensure learning as it would allow students to independently look over concepts and consolidate them in their own time, without having to set up a paid consolidation lesson with a tutor every time a problem arises. This would give students more confidence in their lessons, and would provide them with notes to look back to after the course has finished, rather than having to search through - sometimes unannotated - class code.

I have found my 1:1 lessons with Samuel extremely helpful, as I am able to bring up concerns and ask questions immediately, without feeling insecure of peers' judgements. He has been very patient and always answers questions thoroughly, ensuring my understanding. This has been a highly positive change in comparison to some tutors I have had in the past.

I am currently not sure whether I will continue with Funtech next year - though I find the content positively challenging, I acknowledge that I may not have enough time next year to continue the course as I am studying 4 A Levels. Also, I find that though I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons this year, I am not sure as to whether I am willing to gamble my parents' money on lessons next year, as I have not found my previous experiences with Funtech to be fulfilling. However, I will be sure to think over my decision in the coming weeks as I know that I would be interested in taking a STEM subject in university. I very much appreciate Funtech for challenging me in my coding and I am sure that I will continue to further my learning whether or not I decide to stay for another year.
