Unreal Engine 3D Game Design

It was Very good and I feel that I learned a lot. Though there were a few technical issues here and there, they didn't negatively affect the course. I would do it again! :D

Programming course

This was one of my most favorite things to do.They explain it very well and help you it your in stuck

I really enjoyed the lessons it helped me work on developing new skills and creating different games, the sir was very friendly and welcoming , helped me in many difficult objectives.

This was really fun, people made mushrooms everywhere and it was brilliant for my brain and I received knowledge about Unreal.

Review on "3D Game Design - Developer" course.

This was an interesting course which took us through the basics of 3D Design. I learnt a lot of new things, namely how to develop and design a game including a racing game and a platformer. The teacher was nice and supportive and overall this was an enjoyable experience.

Great tutor.

My tutor (Jibran) was very patient and very relaxed. He always asked if everyone understood the videos after they were done which I appreciated. In conclusion I think Jibran was an extremely good tutor.

You don't have to go anywhere!

With most camps, you have to drive to a school, or drive 30 minutes to get to the camps. However, FunTech is different, as you don't have to dress up and get into the car to spend 20 minutes freezing your head off in the car. FunTech, all you need to do is get up, (if you really want to, keep you...

With most camps, you have to drive to a school, or drive 30 minutes to get to the camps. However, FunTech is different, as you don't have to dress up and get into the car to spend 20 minutes freezing your head off in the car. FunTech, all you need to do is get up, (if you really want to, keep your PJ's on), eat some Breakfast and get stuck into a week of fun! I'm not joking, FunTech never got boring, with Tutors that are nice and friendly, and I get to sleep in to like half eight and get up, eat some breakfast, and log on. Seriously, there won't be a single moment where you miss your phone, switch, PC, tablet, I don't know. Besides, it's always nice to do some 'constructive' stuff in the morning/afternoon and then play in the morning/afternoon. Just a recommendation, you might want to get some blue-light glasses and actually take the 15 minute breaks FunTech allows for. After all, we are sitting looking at screens for the morning, so I'd recommend taking the breaks and resting your eyes regularly... but all in all, FunTech is definitely worth your money, time, and focus for.

As always with Funtech courses, it was extremely informative and well-run. My son really enjoyed it and has learnt a lot. He has been talking about the technology he used and his deeper understanding of AI. Thank you Funtech - once again we are extremely impressed!

Summer Camps 2024

I enrolled my son into 2 summer 2024 camps - Python Coder L1 and Hackathon.
He loved them both and had a great time.
He said the teachers were very knowledgeable and lessons were planned well.
He will definitely be back to try more.

Excellent introduction to hacker craft

I'm really pleased with my son's time at the Cyber Security Hackathon camp. Based on the description, I was hoping he'd get a chance to experience some "close to the metal" system administration, and get to know how to use tools like the command line and lower level protocols like http, ftp, etc....

I'm really pleased with my son's time at the Cyber Security Hackathon camp. Based on the description, I was hoping he'd get a chance to experience some "close to the metal" system administration, and get to know how to use tools like the command line and lower level protocols like http, ftp, etc. It sounds like that's exactly what he got. The camp counsellor/teacher was herself an experienced programmer. It sounds she did an excellent job building a rapport with him and getting him to engage with the material.

My son, Stefan, really enjoyed the AI and machine learning virtual camp course. He found the lessons both interesting and useful.
The teacher was patient and made sure that everyone understood the material, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Fantastic virtual summer camp

My son did the Minecraft game coder Part 1 virtual camp over the summer and absolutely loved it. The teacher was very friendly, fun and supportive, and there was a great atmosphere and interaction between the students. I would definitely recommend this camp and we look forward to the Part 2.

I really liked this year as i got to learn a lot and i am really happy with how this year with Funtech went. Also the tutor was great and i really appreciate how he encouraged me through it and how he gave me advice to practice. Overall, this year has been great with Funtech.

Although my son is not a native English speaker, he was able to follow the lessons very well.
The option of a two-week course on a half-day basis was great.

Both my kids did the Roblox game designer holiday course, it has been one of theire most enjoyable experiences over the summer holidays. I was very impressed with what they had learned. Both my kids couldn’t stop telling me how wonderful, kind and helpful theire teacher was (Hiba)
The structure of the course was brilliant with lots of breaks and play time incorporated within the day. My kids can’t wait to go back and learn more! (They are going to have to teach me!)

My son was signed up to the Level 1, part 1 course but it quickly became apparent that he had covered quite a bit of the material already. The tutor recognised this and suggested he move up to Level 2. The FunTech team were then brilliant at organising the shift, sending new links and resources to my computer through screen share so that it was a seamless transition.

He really enjoyed the course and learnt loads. It was well-run, the tutors were great and it was a good balance of work and screen break. Would highly recommend!
