My son did the Lua Coder Roblox course at Tonbridge School. The materials provided were really clear. My son found it a good challenge and as the week went on found the work and use of language clearer.

The structure of the day was designed really well. With opportunities to chat to other course goers and get involved in well structured games away from the screens.

The course tutors were really relatable and knew their subject really well.

My son would love to sign up to another course in the future but most importantly he’s able to practise what he’s learnt and create his own worlds on Roblox!

Python OOP at Barbican

The course was very good, learned a lot with good support from the teacher and had fun in the break times playing games and sports. There was good bonding with a nice group size - nice that parents could join to see the final projects - thanks Funtech!

Java Part 1

Hugo really enjoyed this course. He was fully engaged with it every day and seemed to get a lot out of it.
He now wants to do part 2 next week but we were really disappointed to see it is fully booked!

Our son is 7 and was keen to do this camp but we had no idea what to expect or whether it might be too intense for him. He came home buzzing every night and bounced in every morning, telling us all about the friends he had made and how much fun he was having. We were incredibly impressed with the communication from FunTech and how they touched base with us during the week, letting us know how he was doing.

He is already talking about what course he will do next time and insists that he wants to do it as a residential.

We wholeheartedly recommend FunTech to anyone, for the care and support they take of the students and the high level of expertise. Thank you, from one very happy little boy!!

My son found the course pretty much perfect for his level of understanding: it was challenging but not overwhelming and he came away exhausted but thrilled with what he had achieved.

As a parent, I am thrilled with the progress my son has made through this Python coding course. Initially, I was searching for an engaging and educational program that could introduce him to the world of programming, and this course exceeded our expectations.

From the beginning, the instructors made sure the material was both accessible and challenging. They have a remarkable ability to break down complex concepts into digestible lessons that are easy for younger students to grasp. My son had no prior coding experience, but thanks to there clear instructions and hands-on projects, he quickly gained confidence in writing his own Python code.

The course structure is well-organised, with each lesson building on the previous one, ensuring a solid understanding of the fundamentals before moving on to more advanced topics. I was particularly impressed with how the course incorporated real-world applications of Python, which kept my son engaged and excited to learn more.

Great week

My sons really enjoyed FunTech. Small class and great tuition. Plus lots of opportunity to burn off energy in the breaks. The leader was great at helping build their confidence when they found something challenging.

I'd been looking for a tech course for our daughter to do during the holidays. She is a Roblox fan, so when I found FunTech we enrolled her on two courses on Roblox Game Designer (parts 1 and 2).
It was a Virtual Camp and although she needed a little help getting set up, she was fine once connected to the class and sharing the screen. She found it both fun and challenging. The tutors were very good and listened to the feedback. As a parent it was great to see my child in relaxed classroom environment, gaining confidence while having fun. Highly recommended.

My son started with FunTech at the age of 10. It was quite a journey for him from learning the basics of programming and animation through to a GCSE and now a completed A-Level. As a parent, I’ve seen him really enjoying all the courses he took and all the sessions within them. The tutors have always been very knowledgeable and supportive for both students and parents. I was always provided detailed feedback on my son’s progress. It was really great to see him thriving and thoroughly enjoying spending time with his classmates and tutors.

My son did not know what to expect on this course. This is the first time we are with Funtech. He learnt quite a bit and was really excited a few days. Specially as he was able to relate to what he was learning. The course was well structured and well supported.

My daughters both did a virtual Python camp this summer. Both very good and for my elder daughter it was the third Funtech camp. The tutors are always very pateince and I had the impression that a lot of feedback from the previous years had been taken on. Thanks again Funtech.

Hackathon Happiness!

My son had a great time on the Cyber Security Hackathon camp. He is very interested in ethical hacking so this was the perfect camp for him. He loved the practical challenges as well as learning how to use new software and he's much more security conscious as a result of attending the camp.

I knew my son was enjoying himself when he described his FunTech camp as being "better than school because it lasts 2 hours longer". He was completely engaged in Minecraft Mod developer and keen to continue outside of the camp setting. He also made a new friend, thanks to the considered way in which the room was set up, placing children of similar age together.
Only question now is which topic to try next year!

Our daughter did the Minecraft Mod course and she couldn't wait to turn up every morning. She loved the stuff she learnt and has been showing off to everyone what she now knows how to create, it's wonderful. She also really enjoyed the non-computing activities at break time and lunch time - she was telling us all about the games they played. The activities seemed really well run. The facilities at the school were nice, the staff were very friendly, and they gave her a computer and mouse to use which made her able to use the laptop more easily. Thank you.

Really great camp

My 14 year old was excited about doing this class and didn’t need any reminding. Phyton level 2. Useful for gsce computer science. Will do the next level. Second time he’s done a course with funtech. Can’t believe they can keep his attention like they do.

Brilliant course, my son wasnt keen on attending initially due to duration but he thoroughly enjoyed it, and learnt lots. Highly recommend - excellent teachers

Kids loved it

Brilliant camp, run extremely well. Far more engaging and advanced than traditional computer or coding courses. Kids absolutely loved. Built their confidence and can easily see them using this as a stepping stone to advance their computer and coding skills

My son thoroughly enjoyed the Fun Typer course which was so child-friendly - geared up in a totally gamified way with levels and rewards. He went for it! Unusually he completed Fun Typer in 1 1/2 days. Although not the norm, Fun Tech were unfazed and really understanding of him and accommodated us in a different course of his choosing - Coding for Python for the rest of the week. This was good as I got to know two coffee shops in two locations . He was supported to catch up - the classes are small and teachers top notch. My son's teacher had a Masters in Computer Science and was a really cool guy! I went in for the Show and Tell of their projects at the end of the week and was really impressed. They did lots of games outside in their screen breaks and made friends over the week. Well done FunTech. You are hands down the best!

Maxi is now doing part 2 of this course as he absolutely loved the part1. It was entertaining and engaging.
