This is the second year we got Mehry to participate and we are all ready planning for the next year to send her back.
I have no reservation to recommend FunTech to all my friends and family.

Hi Kaya really enjoyed the course, she came home stimulated each day and really improved her coding skills beyond what we had been doing at home. She is inspired to continue coding and Funtech provided her a fantastic foundation in Python that we will build upon. She will definitely be back!

Lara enjoyed the Python class. It was her first time doing Python and coding that isn't Scratch Junior. The instructors were great -- energetic and encouraging. She had fun coding programs and was excited about having me try them at the end of each day.

My daughter enrolled in the advanced python coding course over the summer holidays, having done the basic course earlier. She really enjoyed the course and, from what I could see, was doing some pretty impressive stuff by the end of the course. The instructor was professional and kept the course on track. This is the fourth or fifth virtual course she has done, in addition to a couple of day camps before the pandemic, and she has always enjoyed them and said that she learns a lot.

My son wasn't keen on doing this class in the beginning because he wanted to be on his ps5 all day but by day 2 he started to get into it. He said he enjoyed it and looking forward to signing up for Python Level 3

My son thoroughly enjoyed this course. He relished the challenge and we were very happy that he spent some of his summer holidays learning a new skill. The teacher was very good and communication with parents was excellent.

Fun typing literally!

My son enjoyed learning how to touch type while playing games and interacting with other kids. Funtech tutoring team was as always very professional and helpful!

When I signed my daughter up for Minecraft Mod Developer 1, I was worried that 3.5 hours would be too long and she'd be bored and restless well before the end of the week. I couldn't have been more wrong! She was completely absorbed for every minute and by day 2 she was asking if she could do Part 2. She's just completed that and she has loved every second :) It's been lovely hearing her chatting away whilst we're working and popping up in breaks to tell me what a brilliant time she's having. I'm amazed by what she's achieved and she's thrilled to bits with it all. She tells me the tutors have been lovely and really good at explaining how to do things and at helping them when they get stuck. She's thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the small group of other children on the course. The administration team have also been super friendly and very helpful. It's been great for us to be able to get on with our work knowing our daughter's happy and without needing to take her somewhere and pick her up. Both parents and daughter would highly recommend these courses. Thank you FunTech for a great couple of weeks :)

Lyndon really enjoyed part 2 of Python - OOP. The tutor, Nathan, was great - really patient, very knowledgeable and engaging. He really inspired Lyndon and his enthusiasm was infectious. Thank you for a wonderful Game Design course. My 12 year old absolutely loved it. It sparked ideas and it was wonderful to see him experimenting and trying things after the session finished each day. This was our first attempt at an online camp and we will totally do it again. The instructor kept a great eye on all his pupils, and while he had videos to play he would stop them to explain and make sure everyone understood and no one was left behind. I was very impressed at how he coached 4-5 youngsters through fairly technical IT stuff. Having the virtual control of the desk top was brilliant.

William loved every single moment of his Minecraft coding course! He had never been to the UK before and we were a little nervous for him, but when we collected him he was so happy and said he’d made friends and couldn’t wait to come back the next day! He will be back next year for at least two courses!

We were very happy with our son's holiday coding camp. He really enjoyed his week both from the technical point of view of what he learnt (starting as a beginner) and from the social point of view given the diversity of people in his batch. Full of fun, new friends, and learned a new skill

Our son did a residential camp and very much enjoyed the experience. He met some new friends, and learned a new skill along the way. It was great to have him there to take on the responsibilities of being independent for a week.

Touch Typing & Roblox Game Developer

My son had a great time at the above day camps. It really sparked his interest in Roblox, having previously been a mere player of games, as exciting to be able to create his own. The touch typing really reinforced his previous typing lessons - he also enjoyed the fun music!

Lyndon really enjoyed Python OOP. The camp was very well organised and very well run. The standard of tutor is very high. Lyndon has now been doing Funtech camps for 6 years! He has thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The offering is excellent - there is something to suit everyone from Minecraft to Roblox to Robotics and coding! Both children have loved trying out the different camps. The customer service of Funtech is really good too - they are very responsive and very helpful, going out their way to accommodate us. The camps are very well organised, there is a good ratio of tutor to attendees and the tutors are all very engaging and knowledgeable. We are very impressed with Funtech which is why we keep coming back every year. This year, we have really liked the format of part time virtual camps - this has been great in breaking up the day and giving the children a very worthwhile activity where they are learning a lot. My 8 year old attended the online virtual camp this summer. I was originally a bit worried that I would have to stay with her the whole time to help her out when she became stuck- however I was pleasantly surprised she did the whole course without any assistance from myself at all. The tutor was excellent and managed to help her when she became stuck and my daughter said she really enjoyed the course and the biggest thing for me was I didn’t have to fight to get her to do it. I would def recommend for kids who love Roblox.

A great success

Both my boys were a little anxious beforehand, they did FunTyper and thought it might be a bit boring! But on day 2 they were desperate to get back to it, they loved it and are now asking to practice daily!

Great Week!

This is my daughter's second Funtech residential and she is planning her third! She thoroughly enjoyed herself, the course seems perfectly tailored to the right balance of learning and downtime.

We were looking for a tech oriented summer camp and came across Funtech's offering. We were intrigued by the hackathlon which seemed to align with our son's inclinations. We decided to give it a try, not sure if the level would be adequate nor if the overarching experience would be worth organising an international journey.
We were blown away. The whole thing is beautifully organised, the location is superb, the instructors extremely competent and going to a great length to ensure that kids leared and had fun.
Our son was so enthusiastic that he is already asking to go back next year. Rarely we had such an all-great feedback from him. He is thrilled, and so we are.
