Another brilliant week - thank you

This is the third course we have done and it was as good as we hoped. The course leader did a great job of supporting everyone’s needs whilst keeping them all engaged and was super helpful when something wasn’t working for us.

The most enjoyable camp he attended

Jackson loved the lessons and the tutor. He turned up early to every class. I didn’t have to talk him into going. He worked hard and loved every minute.

Our son is autistic and resistant to engaging with new things, so signing up was a risk. However, he thoroughly enjoyed the course and even made friends with the other children. The link to his special interest of Roblox really helped his engagement and we were impressed by the quality of the course content. The opportunity to do this online at home made it accessible for him and he learnt a lot. We are really glad we booked it for him and will consider booking future online holiday camps with Funtech.

Our daughter absolutely loved the Funtech Virtual Minecraft MOD Design Camp! She had an incredible time learning the ins and outs of modding in Minecraft, and every session was packed with fun and creativity. The instructor was patient, engaging, and did an amazing job keeping her excited and involved. She came away with new skills, a deeper understanding of coding, and tons of creative ideas to explore further in Minecraft. We’ve seen her confidence grow as she successfully designed and built her own mods. Funtech created a perfect balance of education and play, and I highly recommend this camp for any young Minecraft fan eager to expand their skills!

Her instructor was friendly and helpful and she was made to feel proud of herself for completing all the units of the course. She has just started a GCSE in Computer Science, and feels that the Python Coding course has prepared her well for this, and given her a good head start.

My son, Stefan, really enjoyed the AI and machine learning virtual camp course. He found the lessons both interesting and useful.

Fantastic virtual summer camp

My son did the Minecraft game coder Part 1 virtual camp over the summer and absolutely loved it. The teacher was very friendly, fun and supportive, and there was a great atmosphere and interaction between the students. I would definitely recommend this camp and we look forward to the Part 2.

Python - OOP camp with FunTech

My son enjoyed the lessons. The teacher was very good and engaged him well to ensure he enjoyed the class and understood the various topics that were taught.

My son was signed up to the Level 1, part 1 course but it quickly became apparent that he had covered quite a bit of the material already. The tutor recognised this and suggested he move up to Level 2. The FunTech team were then brilliant at organising the shift, sending new links and resources to my computer through screen share so that it was a seamless transition.

He really enjoyed the course and learnt loads. It was well-run, the tutors were great and it was a good balance of work and screen break. Would highly recommend!

As a parent, I am thrilled with the progress my son has made through this Python coding course. Initially, I was searching for an engaging and educational program that could introduce him to the world of programming, and this course exceeded our expectations.

From the beginning, the instructors made sure the material was both accessible and challenging. They have a remarkable ability to break down complex concepts into digestible lessons that are easy for younger students to grasp. My son had no prior coding experience, but thanks to there clear instructions and hands-on projects, he quickly gained confidence in writing his own Python code.

The course structure is well-organised, with each lesson building on the previous one, ensuring a solid understanding of the fundamentals before moving on to more advanced topics. I was particularly impressed with how the course incorporated real-world applications of Python, which kept my son engaged and excited to learn more.

What stood out to me the most was the support provided by the instructors. They were always available to answer questions and provide feedback, ensuring that no student felt left behind. I'd been looking for a tech course for our daughter to do during the holidays. She is a Roblox fan, so when I found FunTech we enrolled her on two courses on Roblox Game Designer (parts 1 and 2).
It was a Virtual Camp and although she needed a little help getting set up, she was fine once connected to the class and sharing the screen. She found it both fun and challenging. The tutors were very good and listened to the feedback. As a parent it was great to see my child in relaxed classroom environment, gaining confidence while having fun. Highly recommended.

My son started with FunTech at the age of 10. It was quite a journey for him from learning the basics of programming and animation through to a GCSE and now a completed A-Level. As a parent, I’ve seen him really enjoying all the courses he took and all the sessions within them. The tutors have always been very knowledgeable and supportive for both students and parents. I was always provided detailed feedback on my son’s progress. It was really great to see him thriving and thoroughly enjoying spending time with his classmates and tutors.

My son did not know what to expect on this course. This is the first time we are with Funtech. He learnt quite a bit and was really excited a few days. Specially as he was able to relate to what he was learning. The course was well structured and well supported.

My daughters both did a virtual Python camp this summer. Both very good and for my elder daughter it was the third Funtech camp. The tutors are always very pateince and I had the impression that a lot of feedback from the previous years had been taken on. Thanks again Funtech.

My 14 year old was excited about doing this class and didn’t need any reminding. Phyton level 2. Useful for gsce computer science. Will do the next level. Second time he’s done a course with funtech. Can’t believe they can keep his attention like they do.
