Roblox Game Designer Course

My boys absolutely loved this course! They were a little nervous at first since it was their first time doing something like this, but those nerves quickly disappeared. The teacher was fantastic—so supportive, patient, and encouraging. He really made a big impact, and the boys were genuinely sad to hear he won’t be teaching the next part of the course.

The experience has sparked a real passion in them. They’ve already started applying what they’ve learned, building their own games and getting more and more creative every day. It’s been amazing to watch their confidence and skills grow so quickly. Highly recommend this course for any kids interested in game design!

Our daughter attended the 5-day flexi camp (virtual teaching). The course combined revision and consolidation of her knowledge as well as learning new areas of coding. She feels confident in her Python abilities now and ready for starting her Computer Science GCSE. Thanks FunTech!

We're FunTech veterans and huge fans! Our daughter has just completed the Minecraft Redstone virtual camp and, as always, she's had a fantastic time. It's been lovely hearing her chattering away with the tutor and her classmates whilst we're working and to catch up afterwards on all the great things she's been doing. She has loved every minute and is very sad it's over. She's really proud of what's she's achieved and can't wait to learn more. Thank you Funtech for another happy and enriching week :)

Our son recently took part in a virtual camp over 5 mornings during week 1 of the summer holidays. Everything went smoothly and communication was great. We love that the parent and student portal is easy to navigate and it was super easy to swap his dates when another engagement ended up clashing. Our son really enjoyed the course and said his tutor was nice and friendly. He woke up early everyday and got himself all set up so he was definitely keen and enjoying himself. I could hear him asking relevant questions and chatting to his peers. We would definitely recommend FunTech and it's a massive bonus that childcare vouchers are accepted!
We will be booking again.

I was at a bit of a loss to identify suitable holiday activities for my son and I came across Fun Tech and this programme on line. It has not only kept my 11 year old son busy all week, he has come away at the end of the week with new skills with regard to game designing.
It has been one of the very few courses that my son has logged off at the end of the learning session for the day and still wants to tinker with the programme after attending a chunky training session

My son has a short attention span - however this course kept him interested
Parker, the Facilitator was brilliant and managed the group very well. Although a little pricey the money was very well spent

Thank you FunTech for another great camp. Some of the content was really complex but Hope did a brilliant job explaining it and finding different ways to make sure the students understood it and that the knowledge was properly embedded. And the building challenges were really fun.

I didn't have to do anything for the class following the mandatory pre-class checklist.
My daughter was entertained throughout the course and she didn't need much between 9 and 12:30.

It has been appreciated we were not just paying for an hour of tutoring but for the support wrapped around that, preparing and marking materials and even, just ahead of the exams some calming final explanations around tricky topics. Another brilliant week - thank you

This is the third course we have done and it was as good as we hoped. The course leader did a great job of supporting everyone’s needs whilst keeping them all engaged and was super helpful when something wasn’t working for us.

Our son is autistic and resistant to engaging with new things, so signing up was a risk. However, he thoroughly enjoyed the course and even made friends with the other children. The link to his special interest of Roblox really helped his engagement and we were impressed by the quality of the course content. The opportunity to do this online at home made it accessible for him and he learnt a lot. We are really glad we booked it for him and will consider booking future online holiday camps with Funtech.

Our daughter absolutely loved the Funtech Virtual Minecraft MOD Design Camp! She had an incredible time learning the ins and outs of modding in Minecraft, and every session was packed with fun and creativity. The instructor was patient, engaging, and did an amazing job keeping her excited and involved. She came away with new skills, a deeper understanding of coding, and tons of creative ideas to explore further in Minecraft. We’ve seen her confidence grow as she successfully designed and built her own mods. Funtech created a perfect balance of education and play, and I highly recommend this camp for any young Minecraft fan eager to expand their skills!
