This week has been very useful and has cleared out concepts I was uncertain of before whilst teaching me new concepts.

It was super fun

the week was super fun because the codes were fun and i got help and it was explained well and it was easy to understand.

I really enjoyed this camp because of all the amazing things you could do after just a small amount of practice and learning. By the second day, I was already making a realistic looking 3D platformer with trees, grass mountains and lots more. Before this I thought that making a simple 3D game was a gruelling task that took days or months, but now I know that after this course, you can make one in a matter of minutes or hours.

I enjoyed the course and understood the content

i learned even MORE of python

Now I know how to make windows with tkinter and soon i learned to detect what key pressed but not now because i did not completely get it so i got some help from the tutor to get it done.

It was very good. I learnt a lot, and it sparked my interest into Java - a totally new language! I had some prior experience in Python, which helped make this course even more better, as I could easily relate a lot of knowledge here with that in Python. My teacher was very good as well, as he clearly explained all the things too, and helped in the right amount - not too much that I end up relying on him, and not too little that I scratch my head all the time. Just the right amount of help in the times needed. Overall, I really enjoyed this course, and do look forward to coding in Java again!

Hugo really enjoyed this course. He was fully engaged with it every day and seemed to get a lot out of it.
He now wants to do part 2 next week but we were really disappointed to see it is fully booked!

Eva was a patient, kind leader who kept the kids moving along so they were able to fit in a lot of fun learning throughout the week! From the beginning, the instructors made sure the material was both accessible and challenging. They have a remarkable ability to break down complex concepts into digestible lessons that are easy for younger students to grasp. My son had no prior coding experience, but thanks to there clear instructions and hands-on projects, he quickly gained confidence in writing his own Python code.

I'd been looking for a tech course for our daughter to do during the holidays. She is a Roblox fan, so when I found FunTech we enrolled her on two courses on Roblox Game Designer (parts 1 and 2).
It was a Virtual Camp and although she needed a little help getting set up, she was fine once connected to the class and sharing the screen. She found it both fun and challenging. The tutors were very good and listened to the feedback. As a parent it was great to see my child in relaxed classroom environment, gaining confidence while having fun. Highly recommended.

My son started with FunTech at the age of 10. It was quite a journey for him from learning the basics of programming and animation through to a GCSE and now a completed A-Level. As a parent, I’ve seen him really enjoying all the courses he took and all the sessions within them. The tutors have always been very knowledgeable and supportive for both students and parents. I was always provided detailed feedback on my son’s progress. It was really great to see him thriving and thoroughly enjoying spending time with his classmates and tutors.

Lua coder

My son did not know what to expect on this course. This is the first time we are with Funtech. He learnt quite a bit and was really excited a few days. Specially as he was able to relate to what he was learning. The course was well structured and well supported.

Great tech support

Well organised course with good content. Particularly big shout out to the excellent technical support - Abul was amazing helping find a solution to our glitch so that my son could fully participate.

Great Course

The course was really, fun to go through. I enjoyed the first day a little less as it was boring, but the other days were very enjoyable. The 4th and 5th day was my favourite overall as we did the most fun tasks and made the better bots.

Great camp overall

Great camp overall and I really enjoyed it. I had a bit trouble adapting to bad internet but it was a very good camp learning overall and I would definitely sign up for the next one.

This camp is so, so, SO good! I thought Java was way too complex for someone like me, but if you consider yourself great at Python, you should 100% consider this! Especially a 1-to-1! I You'll recognise what the challenges are here if you ever did the Python Coder 1, because everything here is the same, but in Java! At first you may think that this is a bad thing, but I found it so, so, SO interesting learning the different techniques of a different language!

If this makes you want to come any more, Minecraft was made using Java, and we all know that Minecraft is awesome! (anyone who says it doesn't, why are you here???)

Overall, this has been an excellent course from start to finish. I just wish I could take this course every day! It’s amazing for anyone looking to build a strong foundation in programming. Since taking this course and the others, I’ve gained so much confidence and knowledge in Python. The content is also exceptional well crafted and engaging for students. Finley’s outstanding teaching creates an environment that is both educational and enjoyable. If you have the chance to learn from Finley, consider yourself fortunate. His passion and expertise make all the difference in the learning journey. He makes the lessons incredibly engaging and his knowledge is outstanding. Additionally, he is an amazing person always happy and kind to anyone who needs help. This is one of the best courses I have ever done and I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot in a very short period. It is excellent for all levels as, at the beginning, they do a quick refresher to ensure that everybody is around the same level or at least those less familiar with Python can catch up and understand it to a level that they can apply their knowledge effectively. My tutor Finley is very kind, always willing to help and never boring, unlike in other courses I have done at other camps. He is very passionate about his job and very knowledgeable in his field of teaching. You should have quite a few projects at the end of the course that you can feel happy with as you have made them yourself, and the overall format of the course is well-thought-out and straightforward. There are sometimes issues with understanding the content, considering the amount of information we learn at once. However, as long as you have a great tutor like mine, he will be happy to explain it entirely to you so that you can better grasp what you are coding and the logic behind it.

Before the course, I thought I knew a bit about AI and neural networks.
During the course, we did so much on every aspect of AI.
I now realise how much I didn't know about AI before the course.
Now, I can create many AI models that can do almost anything, as long as I have a lot of training data. This includes not only basic text recognition, but also image recognition.

This was absolutely amazing and I couldn't recommend it more.
