Great Experience

My 8 year old loved all parts of his Roblox designing course. The teacher was supportive and enthusiastic and was able to draw out his talkative side which isn’t easy given you are all working remotely. He learnt lots and thoroughly enjoyed his experience with FunTech

I really enjoyed learning with JMA and the rest of the group this week. Some of the things I learnt was lists, formating, while and for loop. Whenever I needed some help JMA would instantly come to my support and with his help I managed to complete the tasks. I hope that I will see him again soon...

I loved it

I really enjoyed the whole camp. It was great and definatly made me think about doing computer science for GCSE s and A levels. I loved it and our tutor was great he helped when i needed it and went at the right speed, challanged me when i finished the task and kept me engaged. 10/10

Python Coding Course

We couldn’t be happier with the Python coding course at Funtech. My son has absolutely loved it from start to finish. Every break, he’s been bouncing out full of excitement, and at the end of each day he’s genuinely been sad that it was over - which says a lot, especially given the hours are long...

We couldn’t be happier with the Python coding course at Funtech. My son has absolutely loved it from start to finish. Every break, he’s been bouncing out full of excitement, and at the end of each day he’s genuinely been sad that it was over - which says a lot, especially given the hours are longer than a typical school day!

What’s really stood out is how engaged he’s been. He’s loved all of the projects and has been so motivated to keep going that I’ve actually had to drag him out for walks just to get him off his screen - otherwise he’d happily spend the whole evening continuing what he started in class.

Not only has he had a fantastic time, but he’s clearly learnt a huge amount too. His confidence has grown, and he’s been excited to talk through what he’s built and how it works.

A special mention to his tutor, Hope, who was exceptional - clearly inspiring, supportive, and brilliant at keeping the students engaged throughout.

A brilliant course that manages to be both educational and genuinely fun, highly recommend and he is excited for the next two, we wish he could do the next one in May and not wait until August!

This is my 3rd time using FunTech, and I really enjoyed it! My Tutor helped me learn a lot, and I learnt everything I needed to! He helped me when I was confused, and now I can use Unreal WAY better! Thank you :)

I think the Tutor did an amazing job of helping and entertaining the group! With the Tutor's help I feel I am really confident in the first part of my Python journey. I hope that in the future I will be taught by him again. Thank you Tutor for this amazing course! I really enjoyed this course, it was very well explained and fun. I now understand and can code to some extent. As a new coder, this is a great leap from nothing to programming easy games like hangman, the tutors can explain things very well, and everyone is nice overall great!

Funtech was brilliant this week. I loved it and I hope to do more in the future. I found coding so fun this week and I would do this over a million times. It was so so so so so so so good

Great 1st Python session

My son really enjoyed his 1st week learning Python code. He commented several times that his coach/tutor was excellent and really connected with him. The timing and content seemed very age appropriate. we will be back for more courses in summer holidays!!

Good Quality

I enjoyed this week. I did find the file opening good and easy to undertsand. But i enjoyed all the topics and it was fun week. I also learnt a lot. I did find tkinter hard at the start but towards the end i found it good and i feel i am at a good stage at tkinter and i really enjoyed this week.

A wonderful time at funtech

What I can say is that you really should do funtech. Before you think coding is boring, this camp makes it fun, and it also educates you about coding really well. I highly recommend it, and I also love how fun the coaches are (from past experience).

FunTech October Half Term

We thought that Hope was an excellent tutor for William. She even did extra sessions when he missed the class. William really enjoyed the week and learnt a lot during the camp. We are impressed with his progress in python. William is very keen to do another camp in the future. Thank you so much.

3D Game Programming

The course was well structured with a balance of interaction, individual work and screen breaks. My son came away very positive and proud of some of the things he had achieved in the week and would do another one.

Part2 - Python Course

I thought it was really fun. I found it very interesting and I learnt a lot of things about lists, algorithms, ranges and really enjoyed bubble sort and linear search.

we had a 15 min break each hour, I think the strictness(even though not very strict) and explaining was on spot.

I truly enjoyed this camp. This is my second time at FunTech and i genuinely learnt so much and had so much fun. I enjoyed the lessons, the tutor and the other student were a pleasure. I hope to return to FunTech again sometime soon!

It was really fun and I had a great experience. My tutor was really nice and he made me learn more than i would with a normal teacher. He was by far the best tutor i have ever had as he did not even scold anyone once even though we could be a bit annoying. It was a memorable experience.
