Fully Recommend - Minecraft Redstone Engineer

From beginner to expert, this camp has it all! I learned so much in this course, even more advanced stuff like XOR and IMPLIES logic gates!

From beginner to expert, this camp has it all! I learned so much in this course, even more advanced stuff like XOR and IMPLIES logic gates!
The tutor was outstanding, he was kind, calm, patient, and so many more of my positive words!

101% recommending this course to anybody, whether you know Minecraft, or you don't.
They even give you some time to build some of your own things, like mazes, rollercoasters, houses, and sometimes even with redstone in it!

I have had so much fun, even though I have spent 5 years playing Minecraft I (previously) knew nothing about redstone, well that was until this came along!

Thank you SO much FunTech for this camp! It was so, so, so worth it and parents, you should 100% get this course for your child!

Python Programming FunTech - Aksharra

I really liked FunTech's approach to beginner coding in Python. With the support from the staff and the detailed videos I comprehended this programming language extremely fast.

Unity

It was a great camp where I expanded my knowledge of using Unity, along with plenty of challenges and extensions to test it out. The recap challenges and the final project at the end were a fun way to review everything I'd learned throughout the course.

This was actually one of my favourite courses I have done at FunTech, it amazed me how much we covered however how much we could actually understand (which was all of it). This was due to the excellent tutor explaining every topic in detail and answering any of our questions, as well as the well-structured course that gradually gets harder and harder. While it may not teach you how to make a trending 2024 3D game, it teaches you the basics in depth to allow to you progress and possibly even make a trending game in the (far) future.

During this week long virtual course, we started by refreshing our knowledge of Roblox building (Constraints, Tools, Terrain Editor etc.) before moving on to Lua coding that included variables, events, PivotTo, Brickcolor and Player Properties just to name a few. On the final few days of the course, we worked on individual projects that we chose from a selection. I would recommend the FunTech Lua Course because it really helps you learn about Lua coding in a functional and convenient way, with friendly and helpful staff ready to answer any questions you may have.

fun and interactave it had lots of fun units to learn through

Whole week review

this week on thecamp has helped me alot with my programming and made me alot more confident at it. On the first day of this camp, I wasn't very confident and was getting lots wrong in my code and these five days have really helped me become better at programming python.

I really enjoyed it because it helped me understand so much more which is really useful for me as I have me exams

Teague was really helpful and kind when I was stuck, he gave me really good explanations to help me understand

Fun and i understood everything, only down side is the videos are mind numbing boring and i took in nothing from them, as they where in a small monotone un-enthusiastic voice. I found my self lost half way through and the excessive whistling song in the background added to the loss of concentration. These videos also (in my opinion) not very informational as they spend to much time either sidetracked by a point they made or they endlessly talk about one point. For example a video began getting offtrack as they talked about something that was like people getting on to a bus they proceeded to spend the next thirty seconds rambling about the bus and then stating how if someone doesn't have enough money they can't ride they started talking about why this is in real life and went "Here at FunTech we need to get money to"

Java coder 1-Ben

Very fun, I learnt a lot about java including loops, variables and if statements, I enjoyed it a lot and it made me laugh

I really enjoyed the camp and I got to learn many new things. When I didn't understand things my tutor helped me understand things better.

i found the camp fun and it helped me learn lots of new things. i particularly enjoyed the last few sessions as we got to create our own games! overall, i really enjoyed it and definitely would recommend it to other people who would want to learn how to code the basics on Roblox.

Overall quite fun but challenging

I found the Lua course quite hard on the first day but grew to like and enjoy by the end. The tutor was very helpful and I loved making my own games.

Outstanding Week

Throughout the whole week we had interesting and fun things all the time. My Instructor helped me when ever i needed it and was super friendly. I was never bored throughout the whole week. I would recommend to anyone even if you don't have an experience of playing Minecraft.

I'm not good with titles this is a filler lol

It's just a very good course and as someone who didnt even really know what OOP was before it has taught me really well.
