FunTech Review

I enjoyed practicing adding text and sound to the levels, and I also liked using all the skills I learned to create my own game at the end.

I really liked FunTech

This is my 3rd time using FunTech, and I really enjoyed it! My Tutor helped me learn a lot, and I learnt everything I needed to! He helped me when I was confused, and now I can use Unreal WAY better! Thank you :)

3D Game Programming

The course was well structured with a balance of interaction, individual work and screen breaks. My son came away very positive and proud of some of the things he had achieved in the week and would do another one.

I truly enjoyed this camp. This is my second time at FunTech and i genuinely learnt so much and had so much fun. I enjoyed the lessons, the tutor and the other student were a pleasure. I hope to return to FunTech again sometime soon!

It was really fun and I had a great experience. My tutor was really nice and he made me learn more than i would with a normal teacher. He was by far the best tutor i have ever had as he did not even scold anyone once even though we could be a bit annoying. It was a memorable experience.

I enjoyed this course a lot and had an amazing time here. We learned Unreal Engine and created our own games. I understood mostly everything and when I didn't the tutor explained it better to me.

This year was our son’s third time attending the residential 3D Game Design coding camp, and once again, he had a fantastic experience. It’s become something he genuinely looks forward to each summer.
The classes are well-structured and engaging, with tutors who clearly know how to connect with young learners. Their teaching style makes a real difference—not just in how much the kids learn, but in how confident and motivated they feel. Our son always comes home excited to share what he’s built and eager to keep exploring game design.
Outside the classroom, the camp offers a great mix of evening activities and excellent pastoral care. The environment is welcoming and supportive, which has made a big impression on our son. He’s happy to attend even when he doesn’t know anyone else beforehand—a big deal for him, as he usually prefers camps where he goes with friends.
Overall, we’ve been really impressed with the consistency and quality of the experience. It’s a camp that combines learning and fun in a way that keeps kids coming back—and we’re glad our son has found a place where he feels so at home.

Very fun course, There were a few Subjects that I found tricky and hard to get my head around, but they were soon explained very well by the tutor (Alex) I feel that I have learnt a lot about how to use unreal engine and have made some fun and interesting games.

they were fun and amazing

Adam and joe were super fun and helped my brother find a pc that he could make i would do it again but with the daily reviews and a weekly one at the end of the week it was worth every penny and i made friends on the way!!!!!!!!

The week was so fun and I learnt so many new things I will continue to create games in my spare time and experement with some of the more complex this until I come back. Everything was explaned really well and our tutor made sure we were done and had understood before moving on.

Engaging and fun

Thanks for another great week at FunTech. Arthur took his developer skills to the next level with Unreal Engine and is very proud of the games he has developed. It was also great to see at the Parent Showcase, how engaged the tutors were in his development and what he had produced.

It was fun. I learnt skills for designing my own game in the future maybe and also Jacob was a good teacher and very helpful during the lesson. The lesson was very fun and i met lots of different people it was a nice experience. I will probably design another game. Thank you

3D game design review

I really enjoyed this week at camp learning the basics of designing 3D games that are way different from 2D games going from the basics to triggers and running the commands with activators, adding music, applying gravity and signs. I hope I could do this again.

The Final Project was very fun and so was the rest of the camp they were very flexible on what we could do and was very interesting.

How I Found My Week

I enjoyed the week very much. I found that the teacher I had was very nice and helpful with anything the class did not understand. The week was very fun and I am exited to start some other classes later down the line at Fun Tech.

My camp was very enjoyable and fun and i liked how good my teacher was at explaing and teaching us how to code games in Unreal Engine
