This Was Great!

I really enjoyed this course as i could make a game and now i can continue on with it at home. My tutor helped me to add in some advanced blueprints which was fun to make. I found it great that i could put all of my ideas onto 3d game.

This camp started slow but as I got to know everyone I started to like it, love it! When I first got onto the computer I thought this was going to be complicated, a bit like school, but it was actually really fun.

Very good but the breaks for the snack and the food are very long.

I rated FunTech a 4, I have gone to many tech based camps such as ID_tech before and this is one of the best ones I have gone to. Over all I have learnt quiet a lot from this course. Thanks FunTech, keep up the good work.

It was exciting and a good learning experience the staff were good and helpful and kept the fun going. The lunch times are the most enjoyable because they made us do activities different each day.

This course exceeded my expectations greatly. I have never been to a summer camp and this was really good fun. My tutor, Lewis, was extremely helpful and if anyone on the course was stuck they were helped out straight away. Louis, the head tutor, was cheery and when my computer was experiencing some issues he helped out straight away. My only issue was the noise in the classroom but that was expected.

Fun tech is amazing and educational. Its really fun.

loved the teaching but not the time its to long and i loved the rest of the things

I think the summer Camp was really fun and the teachers were all really supportive and answered questions well. The first day was a bit of a struggle because everyone was still figuring out how to work the program. Apart from this the days got better when we had more free time to explore the different settings and parts of this program. sometimes it was hard when everyone was going at a different pace and we were still waiting for others to get to this stage. I would recommend this and would definitely come again.

Funtech is Lit Dawg

Funtech was great. Hamzas jokes were funny, Pacman was really shy and Shreeja was helpful.

It was amazing

Louis and Lucas were a huge help and gave us loads of advice when we got stuck. The only bad thing is that it could have been more detailed; i.e. AI characters, other 3D models, creating textures etc.

I have to be honest, when I came, I didn't think I was going to enjoy myself. However, I was thoroughly proved wrong! Our teachers Aaron and Lewis have been soooo amazing and have really helped me to find my way around the computer and get used to new and exciting game designing software! I have really enjoyed making my game and the parts that I did find a little challenging, my teachers talked me through it step by step! This has been an excellent week of my summer far better than my expectations and I look forward to trying another course!

A very fun course that I found enjoyable. This was not rated five stars because I think there should have been more time to create your own game, as this was the funnest part of the course.

FUNTECH RESPONSE
Whilst each camp has time allocated for project time where the children can as in this instance build their own game, however, the priority is to send them away fully skilled so that they are able to independently build their own games at home. In this instance the tutor felt more time was needed to consolidate the core skills.

FunTech

I think FunTech is really fun. At first its quite hard but your only just learning. On Thursday and Friday because you get to make your own games and especially on Friday because your parents get to see them. The tutors are really nice and very funny.

I loved my first week of FunTech! I learned many new things and our Tutor was very helpful and assisted us whenever we needed. It was a bit long though. The Tech-Free breaks and lunchtimes is something that annoyed me as I don't think parents care if their children were on their phones because they'll be looking at a screen for most of the day anyway. The bus service is helpful. Overall FunTech is probably the best camp I've ever been to.

Coolest game design course EVER!!!

I have had a really good week but I am REALLY upset that it is finished. I really hope I can come to funtech summer camps again. Overall I think I can say I have LOVED, LOVED this week

Amazingly Fun and Amazingly Innovative

This is really fun and after spending a week at the Tonbridge, the food is AMAZING, the tutors are really nice and the way they teach you is fun and a really good way of learning as well so you can make games to the fullest!

In the course you learn the basics of Unreal Engine. Overall, it is a great camp to learn Unreal Engine.

FunTech is a great camp that you have fun with and learn a lot from !
The tutors are great help with things you don't know what to do in.
