It was really fun and i got to make horribly terrifying horror map but you get up TOOO early:)

Very Enjoyable

the course had a slow start but began to pick up pace towards the end. The Software we used was good and the our Tutor Sam was very kind and helpful. I found the course most enjoyable towards the end when we began to create our own code scripts and really started to personalize our games.

Very Interesting

I enjoyed the camp, and I've met lots of great people. Our Tutor is very nice, as is everyone else in my class. We had lots of fun times, but we have also learnt lots. I never found it boring, even the parts I struggled with. I would recommend it to my friends and would love to come back again.

This course is really imaginative so it's perfect for creative people. It teaches the basics of scripting, terrain modeling, entities and so many other amazing things. The tutors, Joe and Rishi were amazing and knew exactly how to keep us engaged.
Although I loved this course, I will admit that I personally preferred coding - which I did last year with the other tutor who taught this course, Joe. However, this is solely based on my preference when it comes to the content.

this week was amazing! first off, i would like to say that the first day of the camp can be quite boring, but afterwards its soooooooooo fun!!!!!!!! i also would like to say that the age rating is quite accurate, and should not book your kid if they're below the age limit. Completely amazing!

3d game design was excellent, we learnt how to make our own characters and levels. My tutor William was awesome and very helpful

Good course, I learnt many game design techniques that I can apply to other software. As good as the teaching and instruction was, I was slightly let down by Game Guru's limitations. Otherwise it was a good introduction and overall a good course.

fun tech is a camp that emphasises the main features of 3D game design and helps you build and design your own game and think more about how much effort it takes to make professional game on an application called game guru which has various assets that help you make a game but there are little varieties for example I can not make a game like hungry shark or call of duty but overall you get good education in what you want to do and I would definitely recommend it to people from ages 10 to 15

AWESOME!!!

This camp is really good and i really recommend it but the only thing I would say is they need to update their software because it often crashes but it is REALLY COOL AND FUN.

The course was a lot of fun and I would review it to anyone wanting to learn how tom make there own game. The program used wasn't the best as it kept crashing and its doesn't provide the user with many graphical options

As the oldest child on the 3d game design, I found this enjoyable.
PROS:
Simba (the lion king as he calls himself) was quite amusing.
We made some cool games with the program.
This course made me make up my mind to buy GameGuru (an updated version of the same game with more features)
Teaches you skills for life (if you use Unreal Engine, Unity or GameGuru).
CONS:
The program (FPS creator classic) had bad graphics and had a tendency to crash.
Not worth £500, more like at most £400ish.
VERDICT
Overall I think this is worth going to, the most notable flaw being the amount of money it costs to come to.

I've enjoyed this experience at Fun Tech Summer Camps. I have learned a lot about 3D game design and how it functions. I have also enjoyed the teaching the tutor has provided as he definitely one of the most entertaining I have had for quite some time. Though that being I can tell he doesn't have the best experience. I prefer to take my time when it comes to experiences such as this but I feel as if it was all rushed down and taken too fast (though that might be due to large amount of content contained within the course) and the program given to us wasn't without its flaws. Though all that aside I still enjoyed the course and will consider coming back next year next year and seeing as the program is being replaced by a superior one next year.

3d game design was very good as we learnt how to design a first person shooter game.However the programme we used was a bit buggy. Other than that the summer camp was good and both the staff William and Lloyd were good and supportive.

I enjoyed the week of creating a FPS game and although we did some scripting I would have liked to do some more. The staff was helpful but the teaching was done by videos so I would have liked the teacher do do the teaching most of the time. Overall it was very fun.

3D Game X

An enjoyable, educational camp, fun and entertaining but dragged on for too long going on a computer for ~7 hours isn't healthy. Perhaps shorten it to 10-4. Otherwise, extremely fun.

this was an amazing experience and I would recommend this to anyone who likes computers.

I liked my week of designing an FPS, I learnt a lot. Now I feel confident that I can make my own game. However some parts were tricky to grasp. I still think I would like to come here again.
