I enjoyed the lessons although they were a bit difficult.

The teachers really tried to help me throughout the course as it was my first time coding and I was not as experience as the other coders. Nevertheless it was still very useful and I was able to understand a large majority of the course in a short period of time.

Overall, I really enjoyed this course!! The teacher was fantastic, I liked how structured the course was. I had previously done a Python course with FunTech, and so learning the basics of Java was really interesting. My favourite part was probably doing if, and, or and else statements - I found it the most useful.
I found the topic of arrays slightly boring and repetitive, but that is just my personal preference. Overall, I don't have any complaints!

These past 2 weeks I have enjoyed a lot. But the most important thing which has happened in Funtech was my teacher he said ''I'm very talented''! He is my favorite teacher ... best teacher I have ever had in my life! no one has ever said that to me before. I really enjoyed being with Funtech and I would have chosen 5 star but why I didn't do that because no one is perfect in the world. In school my teacher make the work very hard but Funtech made it 100% easy! Even though I don't like sitting here for hours I still enjoyed it. I hope I can come back to Funtech in the future but not on mine craft as am an expert now

An insightful Course

This course was not particularly life-changing to me, it was quite slow, and i often found myself ahead of the other students, but it still provided a lot of knowledge and was helpful in the development of my game.

I really enjoyed this camp, and liked having the extension tasks. I felt sometimes I was stuck with nothing to do, but as we did more complicated stuff it was a lot better. I preferred the second week to the first week, especially when we could do our own projects, and use all the code that we learnt. The camp was brilliant for an introduction to Java and I would really like to do another camp here.

Course Review Great

Overall, the course was really good. We learnt a lot of new code and was taught well. It was slow a few times when we had a few problems but other than that I enjoyed it.

It was good and I got through it well but I think maybe one longer break instead of two short break would better as you can't do much in 15 minutes. The virtual machine disconnected quite often aswell.

it was hard then it got complicated and then very difficult than really fun!! all week I've said this but, still think it should end at 4 pm, not 5 pm there are ways to make it better that a cant explain so thank you for listing, bye

As a Roblox Player and not - so experienced builder/programmer on Roblox Studio, this camp helped me learn. I wanted to make a city/roleplay game, and this helped me aim towards that. What I think is so good about this camp is that the teachers show you how to do things, but do not tell you the answers, unless you are stuck. This is good because in the future if we want to make a game, we will not have them, so we will need to remember ourselves how to do it. Overall, I enjoyed the tutors and the camp. I would only make the screen breaks a little longer.

I really liked this course it was fun and it was easy to follow and understand. Sometimes the pacing wasn't great, some parts were too quick and some were too slow.

I found this course really interesting. The way we approached what we wanted to do and how we explored the features was really fun/enjoyable. A solid 4 star

Python Game Developer

At the beginning of the course it was a basic start, this is good as it helped me get the basics of a new language that I have never done before. The amount of content based around the course was alright just needed more topics and extra add ons for the game once made

There were 6 in the class, and yes we did have one lively youngster who was extremely excited and vocal about what she was doing... however, I believe this was better in the second week.

However I wish that there was more content as there is definitely more to learn about python.

Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your time learning about Python and this group was rather advanced and so additional more advanced concepts that were outside of the scope of this course were covered and additional projects given. It was fun learning how to make games, though it might have been fun to learn how to make cutscenes as well.

Good, but could be better

I liked the course, and the teachers were nice, but our teacher for the second week was, I think, worse that our one for the first. Our tutor for the second week wasn't as good at the actual teaching of the course, but was good at helping with the final activity (make your own code).

I found it very fun and like when I was always stuck Koni always helped me and that's pretty much it

Brilliant course.

This camp was very exciting with a very good teacher. A bit expensive but very good value. I feel like I learned a lot. i haven't done anything like this before.

I think that it is a good course but I recommend it to competent programmers as it is structured in a very complicated way.

good room for improvement, my advice is to spend the first week learning the circuits and the end put it all into a final project.

I really enjoyed the course and I feel that I learned a lot from it. The tutor was nice and the course was overall quite good. The only negative thing is that I think there were a few too many children in one session.

Very Good

I enjoyed this a lot over the last 2 weeks and it was a very welcome distraction from the boredom of the Covid 19 self-isolation period. However having experienced both daytime camps and virtual ones, I prefer the daytime ones as internet doesn't always work to well.

before I started this course, I knew a little bit about python. I could program a turtle and print into the console. now, I know everything. the first day was a little concerning, spending 3 hours downloading software but then it became amazing. we were split into groups. the first day, we were in a group of seventeen (FunTech comment | the class size was 12) which was a nightmare. at this time, I am in a group of 9 PEOPLE (which is much better then the original 17). the highlight of the week was making the hangman game. it was really good.

'Exciting course'

I liked the camp ,although I didn't like it at first, but near the end it was really good.

first couple of lessons other people had some technical problems. I really enjoyed it and learnt lots of new things I didn't know before. I really recommend the course if you are stuck indoors or just in general. whether you like Minecraft or are new to the game you will still enjoy this lots....

one time I accidentally ruined my entire world, without the tutors help and knowledge of using commands I would've never been able to fix it!
