It was a very interesting, productive week. I came to these lessons with already having some Python knowledge, and I think the basics were covered and explained well with demonstration too. We learned the basics like printing and getting user input to more complex loops and large if statements, and eventually working on long form projects. I had fun. and the lessons were interesting. I was challenged at the end by lengthy programs like "Fizz Buzz" and adding a "Wuzz" to extend. I have only faced a few issues such as debugging and small errors in my codes, but everything else went smoothly. It was also nice to see all the codes coming together as sometimes it can get tedious with many variables and if statements. Overall it was a good experience and I think i have gotten more confident in loops,

My experience with Vibe Coding

I enjoyed it. The tasks were fun and I enjoyed the ones where a website was made especially.

Overall it was a fun camp, having multiple different projects to work on as opposed to a bunch of assignments made it feel more cohesive. Using codex was enjoyable and learning how to use git was very useful.

I found this camp a very well structured easy to understand course. I enjoyed how it was structured as on the first day we recapped skills we had learnt before which helped refresh my mind. We then started learning new topics and I especially liked the structure of this as it kept on building on the new topic. During this and the recap my tutor (Jessica) was super helpful and helped us understand the topics. She would pause when the video's would get quite fast to help us understand better and I really liked how she would give us hints instead of just telling us what to do as I felt this make be get the topics quicker. I also like how as well as giving us hints and we really did not understand it she would show us the code and explain the importance of each part which was really helpful.

I really enjoyed this python course!!!!!!(Thank you for this amazing week I learn so much new stuff)!!!!!☺︎

Very useful and interesting

I have never done Python before or used codex but it seems that I learnt and done so much thing in 5 days. I have learnt how to create a program with codex, different command, use a diagram for my projects, how to create branches and to create different type of program and up grade them.

This camp was incredibly fun, and I loved to do the coding I always wanted to do yet couldn't do due to potentially not knowing how to code it. The tutor was great and the class atmosphere was encouraging and friendly. ChatGPT Codex was great to work with and generally did what I wanted to do. The course content was also engaging and taught me plenty about professional coding with the help of AI.

However, I did find some challenges to be on the easier side and lacking a real challenge. The questions were very easy at first, but as the week progressed, they got more tricky. I really enjoyed the course. When we did it in school, I didn't really understand, but I learnt a lot in this course. Despite all the annoying glitches on my laptop, it was very fun - our teacher JMA was also very nice and helped with errors.

My 8 year old loved all parts of his Roblox designing course. The teacher was supportive and enthusiastic and was able to draw out his talkative side which isn’t easy given you are all working remotely. He learnt lots and thoroughly enjoyed his experience with FunTech
