I enjoyed the Touch Typing course,. I prefered the typing website to the funtyper one. The insturctors were nice though.

The camp was really fun!! I met loads of new people and made friends as well as being able to learn new skills regarding to Roblox! The in - person camps are awesome and much better than the online ones :O The meals are awesome as well and I can't wait to go again!

The course is well structured but the way it suggests to write the code can sometimes be a little clunky, however Lem was an amazing teacher, helping out with this. We started with a recap of python and its basic code before moving on to some slightly more advanced code on Day 1. It felt relaxed to be eased back into to python after not doing it for a while. On Day 2 we did more advance coding using API and face/image recognition utilizing Google Colab's advanced servers. On Day 3 we started looking into and doing neural network theory. We also created datasets such as a "tic tac toe" csv which described all possible combinations of the game "tic tac toe". On Day 4 we coded a AI to recognise hand written digits and tell us what it thought they were, although it was not always right. On Day 5 we did a coding project, I choose to do a chat bot and code "Agents" for it to respond to inputs with. In conclusion, it was a very fun course with teachers that new what they were doing and how to explain it and make it fun and interactive at the same time. I would definitely recommend doing this course for those who want to advance further in python or as a follow up to the other python courses FunTech offers.

Funtech is an amazing experience. The Tutors and the General people there are very good. I went from a hello world code to copying buildings in one day. ONE DAY! The other days of the week I progressed farther then I thought was possible in one week! The coding teachers have coding knowlege that is AMAZING!!! I learnt so much I thought was inpossible and I love funtech! The food is good and the knowlege I gained, in and out of the code room, has been fantastic! Thanks to Funtech I will look fowards to come next year!

This course is middling (in my opinion) for a one main reason: the first few days of content were boring. There's no way around, days one and two, and parts of day 3, consisted of copying code of the board and being told things. However, the final two days were excellent, and I had plenty of freedom to have fun. Despite this, while I learnt a lot of concepts related to AI and neural networks, I didn't learn much specific coding. On the other hand, the tutors were very helpful and approachable (even when my question had little to do with AI as opposed to coding in general), had great taste in music (which they played during boring stretches to create atmosphere), and were happy to slightly adjust the schedule so that I could learn most of the important code despite a dentist appointment, and managed to make a accommodations for my Autism and ADHD that didn't affect other students. Break and Lunchtimes were frequent ut not excessive, and hugely reduced stress- not to mention the fun (but optional) activities (such as dodgeball and capture the flag) during lunchtimes. However, break/lunchtimes were, despite the tutor's best efforts, were still somewhat noisy/stressful. Overall: 8/10 for fun (due to somewhat stressful break/lunchtimes), 5/10 for tech (due to me learning little actual code).

This funtech camp is extremely good

whilst in the camp I thought there was a good balance between learning new things and fun challenges to solidify your understanding of the topic, and also my teacher Sam was exceptional at teaching. Also the residential place that we stayed at was very big and the rooms are very nice.

AI Machine learning course (its 4.5 stars not 4 but no half stars option)

Great fun, would recommend to any python enjoyer. You do interesting and engaging activities such as making chatbots and image recognition software. The residential part was good, the only mildly annoying thing was the 9pm bedtime. Overall, I had a very enjoyable time.

I thought my week with funtech would be boring and I would just learn a few things like how to do this and do that, just on the first day I had already been proved wrong, Minecraft coding by day and activities ,and sleep, by night. it was good

most of my week was brilliant it was the middle pats of the trip that didnt go so well but my favourite part of the trip was the scuba diving which was brilliant

Teachers made it worth it!

Touch typing is never going to be the most interesting thing in the world however the teachers really do listen to you. Will give you a useful skill, the course was good but maybe needed 2 weeks to be able to fully touch-type. :)

I really liked the activities after the coding as well, even though the coding- for me was the highlight of the day.

FunTech Tonbridge Minecraft Camp

My time here at the funtech camp has been amazing. When you first arrive you will be petrified but by the morning you will have fitted in and feeling right at home. The food is amazing.

I loved it; firstly, that I got to level 8 on Hex 2 times; secondly, Pete did amazing magic tricks; lastly, I really liked the games, and everything!! : ) It's really fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The camp was very fun. The teachers were very tolerant and fun! We played fun games and learnt successfully the basics of typing.

FunTyper was fun but the games get boring after a while.
