Very engaging for my son

Really good course for my 10 year old whose highlight was creating his own obby, loved showing it to his older sister.

Instructor was great and very patient with them all. Would recommend.

Great support lovely class

The teacher was supportive in this advanced Minecraft class. My daughter felt supported and the class was fun for her. She showed me her blocks and was amazed that she could change things in the game with ease. Thanks FunTech for a great start of the summer holidays.

My boys were very happy with the week long virtual sessions, the classes were engaging and fun, they learnt a bunch of new things and generally had a great time.

Python part 1

The python course was very good, and engaging. My son enjoyed the camp very much, and it worked very well virtually too. He is now signed up to the part 2 python course.

It was a great experience for my daughter to attend the summer virtual camp with FunTech. I always preferred in-person classes, especially for kids. However, I couldn't find an in-person coding summer camp for my daughter, so I opted for this virtual camp instead. I didn't have high expectations, but it was actually very well organized. The number of students was manageable, and the tutor (Joe) was very nice and good at explaining things to kids. He was patient and always waited if someone had a problem with their PC, connection, or class.

The customer support was also very professional. It was easy and quick to contact them and get a solution. My daughter enjoyed the camp a lot.

If I had to mention a downside, it would be that the price was a little high for me. However, FunTech is definitely a consideration for our next holiday camp.

My children (10 and 12 years old) attended the FunTech Holiday Camp for Python OOP. I was wondering how they would manage 3 hours every day for 5 days but to my surprise they both thoroughly enjoyed it. "We did not feel like 3 hours" was the comment from my children. Both said they learnt new coding and recapped what they knew. The instructor was friendly and encouraging. It is expensive and can't afford it multiple times. But with children learning happily, made me feel, "it is money worth spent". Thank you so much FunTech.

My child attended a half term camp. It was really fun for her and she has developed a love of coding. She came out happy each day, and wants to do more!

3D Game Design

My 10-year old son attended this course each morning of half-term. He was a little apprehensive to begin with but the instructor (Sam) was very friendly and able and put him at ease. My son said that the lessons flew just like when he's actually gaming!

Thoroughly enjoyed!

My son thoroughly enjoyed his week long half day Minecraft Mod Developer Part 1 virtual week and wants to book onto Part 2 during his next school holiday. Tutor was excellent. Giving the course 5 stars as all was very good indeed.

Really fun camp, recommend to anyone interested in designing 3D games :)

The camp was so entertaining for my daughter and she really liked it. She made some really cool games and showed them to me and I played them. It was a lovely camp and I feel like she learned a lot.

Our kids were doing the intermediate python and LUA courses this summer. Unfortunately, we suffered a power outage in our village and within minutes, the customer service team at FunTech were on the case and proactively reaching out to us parents to check everything was okay. Not only did they ensure that our kids didn’t fall behind during the outage, but they also made tutors available early the next day for an additional private catch up lesson. Just brilliant service, super friendly and great content! We will definitely be back for further courses in future holidays!

Python Level one course - brilliant!

Both of our kids attended the beginner, python course during the summer holidays. The instructor was great, coursework was varied and interesting. Both of our kids thoroughly enjoyed it!

My daughter had a most enjoyable time on the online Java course for 2 weeks of the school holidays. She found the course stretched her knowledge and skills, but was pitched at the right level so that she never thought she was out of her depth or falling behind.

My daughter enrolled in the advanced python coding course over the summer holidays, having done the basic course earlier. She really enjoyed the course and, from what I could see, was doing some pretty impressive stuff by the end of the course. The instructor was professional and kept the course on track. This is the fourth or fifth virtual course she has done, in addition to a couple of day camps before the pandemic, and she has always enjoyed them and said that she learns a lot.

My son wasn't keen on doing this class in the beginning because he wanted to be on his ps5 all day but by day 2 he started to get into it. He said he enjoyed it and looking forward to signing up for Python Level 3

When I signed my daughter up for Minecraft Mod Developer 1, I was worried that 3.5 hours would be too long and she'd be bored and restless well before the end of the week. I couldn't have been more wrong! She was completely absorbed for every minute and by day 2 she was asking if she could do Part 2. She's just completed that and she has loved every second :) It's been lovely hearing her chatting away whilst we're working and popping up in breaks to tell me what a brilliant time she's having. I'm amazed by what she's achieved and she's thrilled to bits with it all. She tells me the tutors have been lovely and really good at explaining how to do things and at helping them when they get stuck. She's thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the small group of other children on the course. The administration team have also been super friendly and very helpful. It's been great for us to be able to get on with our work knowing our daughter's happy and without needing to take her somewhere and pick her up. Both parents and daughter would highly recommend these courses. Thank you FunTech for a great couple of weeks :)

Lyndon really enjoyed part 2 of Python - OOP. The tutor, Nathan, was great - really patient, very knowledgeable and engaging. He really inspired Lyndon and his enthusiasm was infectious. Lyndon is looking forward to more courses next year. A huge thanks to Funtech for running this course for him - this is his 6th year of Funtech and he is a huge fan.
