Very good camp with help from the tutor on a 1 to 1 scale a lot. Well structured classes with helpful videos and quiz questions. Overall improving the structure of my coding and getting the basics done well. Overall a very successful camp.\

Overall time learning Python with Funtech

Throughout the time spent learning Python with Funtech, I have enjoyed coding, and learnt a great amount that will surely come into use in everyday life.

Amazing...

The first 2 days of learning 3# were a bit tricky but I really enjoyed the course overall. Learning how to programme/design 2D games in Unity have been really interesting.

my experience

even though python is tricky my tutor was still really helpful and would make sure i understand it and was overall a good tutor and the activities were cool to thank you.

basics of python coding explained and taught well to me, i can now program a range of things independently in python. not too overwhelming as well because i can take everything step by step and eventually build up to the big project at the end

This is the third part of the Python course I am taking and I am just flabbergasted. The way that FunTech can keep this completely inconceivable consistency is utterly unbeknownst to me. Their wide variety of easygoing and constructive feedback, learning processes and progressions are unmatched and second to none, which is expected, considering their archaic history of teaching children programming. If I were to highlight the most exhilirating part of this course, it would have to be creating games, like pong, or genuinely useful applications, such as a line graph creator. I hope that this company flourishes and grows with considerable prosperity, as they are most definitely the (de facto) greatest programming teachers in the known universe.

P.S. Please consider pairing me with Purvik for future lessons, as he is a very good teacher, and it would be my greatest pleasure to learn more under his guidance.

I hear that you take you take your feedback incredibly seriously, so it would be suprising if this request would remain unfulfilled (thanks).

It's constructive and fun! Last course I managed to code a game of pong in Python, and plus the teachers and students are usually quite friendly. Additionally, if you don't want to code python, Funtech also does a lot of other options, like Redstone Minecraft and modded Minecraft. Fun! It's a great experience, you're able to enjoy yourself while learning potentially useful stuff in the future. Besides, it's good to try something new, and who knows? You might end up as the next Alan Cooper or Ada Lovelace!

So I did both arts of the Python coder (L1) course and the previous course prepared me for this course. Python Coder Part 2 is fun (but a little more challenging then Part one) and help is often only one question away. After this course, I walk away knowing some serious stuff about Python. True, I can't make Python create images, but I can sort entire lists and add and take away stuff from lists! All thanks to my old friends Funtech. Tutors are friendly, Python is fun, life can't be better (well it can buuuut I know you know what I mean). Also, instead of lazing around for your break, get stuck in! Do some coding! Play some Minecraft (or whatever games you have)! Have fun! Bye!

Previously I have completed 5 Funtech courses this potentially being my last and through my time at Funtech I have learnt so much due to the small dedicated classes and specialist teachers that don't always feel like teachers and more like friends making it seem as if you are having fun with friends whilst you are learning giving you the perfect mix of spending time with a screen and spending time with people a similar ages to you. I originally started my Funtech journey a while before covid when I was completing a day course in scratch then it went to Lego robotics then python we then had covid which gave me a break from coding then I started last year it was my first residential coding course where I was further advancing my python knowledge and now when I am doing the hackathon course I have been able to use similar thinking to allow me to progress quickly through different tasks and for the additional residential activities they are amazing this includes the variety of facilities and equipment that I have access to this then allowing me to form friendships with most of the class plus the knowledge that I have learnt has given me a new way of thinking allowing me to look at computer science as fun not work letting me progress with higher grades in my GCSE's which would be brilliant potentially giving me a life long career in computer science as I am currently interested in going to a-level if not a university masters degree. I would highly recommend sending your child to any Funtech course and I can guarantee that they will enjoy there course activities and much more.

The week was great, interactive and interesting the course goes through the basics as well as some slightly more advanced but simple codes. The tutors help every time you need and are up for any questions you throw at them and keep you entertained throughout the breaks as well as enjoying your time with you.

For the course it is THE BEST course that I've ever done and takes the most complex codes and breaks them down throughout five days.

Funtech overall is great even one evening hosting a gaming tournament for both day and residential students.

I really enjoyed most of my time in the camp. The lessons were interactive, very educational and fun. I learnt quite a lot in the space of the week. I made loads of amazing friends and an absolute blast. They help you with everything, in lesson and out. Lunchtime breaks always had energetic and fun activities and game time (17:00-21:00/22:00 depending on age) were always an enjoyable and calming time playing pool, football, basketball with friends or crashing on the couch watching your phone, TV or playing board games with friends. Would go again.

I think over all this camp was this camp was amazing all of the staff was nice, the food was delicious and you have lots and lots of fun.

THE FUNTECH CAMP IS COOL

The lunches are yummy in my tummy, good activities and the teachers join in as well and we learn lots of coding. Good, Fun and good Teaching.Great camp.

Worthwhile experience

Very good and learnt a lot. Recommend it a lot and cool teachers. The teachers are highly qualified and clever as well as nice. By doing this course you are being taught by geniuses especially Tom. Tom is a very good teaher.
