This camp helped me greatly to learn about code. The tutors are kind, and it is very easy to understand and start coding or continue it. It is fun and interactive allowing for new coders to get started and make simple games, slowly advancing to larger projects. I personally really enjoyed this camp and am excited to learn more about python and other game engines. I thank this camp greatly for allowing me to learn all of these things. Overall, I give this camp a 5-star review.

Java Coding 1 Review

The course has been useful, teaching many aspects of the Java coding language that allow for various programs to be coded. It has offered a suitable level of challenge, and the help available throughout has been great.

Fun FunTech Lessons

I learned a lot of things and I gained a lot of practice from this. I was having fun doing task after task. I am excited for the next part.

Enjoyable, helpful course!

Very fun classes and got me to understand the basics of Java coding. I highly recommend FunTech to people who want to know how to code.

Endless hours of fun

Our son is a huge Minecraft fan, but had never been intrigued to attend any camp until this one. He loved every second of it and is begging to take Part 2!

My 8yo loves Minecraft but I wanted his screen time to be more productive. This was the ultimate “learn through play” camp for him, and he scored it 20/10!!! I thought 3.5hrs might be too long but if his attention did wander the tutor was great at pulling him back in. We had one incident where ...

My 8yo loves Minecraft but I wanted his screen time to be more productive. This was the ultimate “learn through play” camp for him, and he scored it 20/10!!!
I thought 3.5hrs might be too long but if his attention did wander the tutor was great at pulling him back in. We had one incident where he got upset and wouldn’t talk to anyone. The tutor Christopher discreetly contacted head office who called me repeatedly until I answered. This was hugely appreciated and I felt the team really cared. I was working from home so was then able to go and get my child sorted. 200% recommend! We will be back for the advanced level camp soon.

My son thoroughly enjoyed the course and was very happy with the balance between tutor's demonstration of concepts, having a go at developing and playing the games. He was well supported when he got stuck and very excited about knowing the unreal engine concepts and being able to design various levels of a given game tutorial. We will definitely be back for the advance stage and my son will surely sing of his epic adventure with funtech..

Fantastic camp! The project was very rewarding and the tutor provided help to every student individually. The extensions were the best part! 100% suggested.

Fun and entertaining

Overall I thought that the Python - Game Coder Camp was a lot of fun and I have learnt a lot of new things from it. Also the tutor was very good as he was also always trying to help and always made sure that we understood what the task was or how the code worked.

It was very enjoyable, informative and open minded. The open attitude of the tutor really helped to make it more comfortable and easier to learn. I especially enjoyed the last 2 days because i'd fully adjusted and wa sno longer stressed about asking questions which meant that it was all just smooth sailing. Genuinly loved this and will be looking into booking further sessions, whether thats later this summer or next summer, will do. I feel incredibly grateful for beign able to attend this and be able to learn everything the course provides in a healthy enviornment.

I really enjoyed coding with funtech and i am really looking forward to another camp!

The course taught be a lot although it was quite long everyday. I enjoyed it, especially fun tasks. The tutor was also very helpful

Minecraft Mods 1

This is definitely the best course I have ever done! The tutor was nice, and fun, and we got to make our own personalised mods. The lessons were the right pace and I never fell behind. 5 stars, Funtech !

This week was much better than expected, i learned a lot and discovered a new passion for computer science. I really enjoyed it and overall i think there was very little to improve

i know unreal engine now. the fact you get to keep the assets is also super neat
nothing else to say except that, if you have no experience in unreal engine this course is for you
