This course, in as little as one week, improved my codeing skills greatly. I feel a lot more confident in codeing.

Minecraft programming camp at MTS

My daughter really enjoyed the week. She has been playing Minecraft for a while, and learning to use MCreator to build her own personalised kit and tricks was really stimulating and fun.

We're FunTech veterans and huge fans! Our daughter has just completed the Minecraft Redstone virtual camp and, as always, she's had a fantastic time. It's been lovely hearing her chattering away with the tutor and her classmates whilst we're working and to catch up afterwards on all the great things she's been doing. She has loved every minute and is very sad it's over. She's really proud of what's she's achieved and can't wait to learn more. Thank you Funtech for another happy and enriching week :)

My son attended the Lego Robotics course for the second year in a row. We found this group of teachers and the leader/supervisor to be a huge improvement from last year. My son enjoyed the course a lot and said he really like his teachers. He was much more knowledgable on what he was learning this year and the demo session held for the parents was well planned. The teachers had a summary of what they covered each day and went around helping the students to demo what they wanted to show their parents doing (if they couldn't get it to work themselves). The teachers were engaging with the children and you could tell they had built a good relationship.
The supervisor was also helpful, knowledgable and caring. She was always present and knew how each child was doing throughout the day.
Well done! I am so glad we had the chance to experience a good week at Fun Tech! Thank you.

this camp explained the use of classes, and defining functions, challenging me all along the way.
I think that I would not have been able to learn about such a confusing topic like classes, just off of some youtube totorial

I am very happy to say that this camp was as good (if not better) than the last. This unit went over more complicated parts of Python, like sorting and searching. While this unit was very challenging, it didn't matter because I had a wonderful tutor who helped me out every step of the way and who I could express myself to whenever I wanted to. Not to mention I managed to learn and have a good time at the same time! WILL be doing Part 3.

Good camp

This java course or camp is pretty nice, the teacher is nice the software didn"t have bugs and i have never seen an online course where the teacher can take control of your screen, pretty cool it helped me a lot! I would reccomend to friends and family

Very, very good!

Our tutor was very nice and he explained everything well.
English is not my main language, but i could understand everything. He was very calm. The material from fun tech was very nice too and i learned a lot.

Really Good

I have done many Funtech camps but this is the most interesting one Ive done. its quite technical and complex but very good. However I always think that funtech summer camp days are very long but the regular breaks are helpful.

This week was great I felt I managed to learn so much and all the little things we did were so fun to do and great to see the results. I really enjoyed the teaching and felt it made the aspect of coding far more fun than it seems to be (to others to me it has still always been fun).

3D gaming

The week was so fun and I learnt so many new things I will continue to create games in my spare time and experement with some of the more complex this until I come back. Everything was explaned really well and our tutor made sure we were done and had understood before moving on.

I really liked how he was patient with me and encouraging me to do the tricky bits. It was so fun to do the course and I want to do the next one. At the end I made a rollercoaster and my tutor helped me with a dunk the villager.

This whole week I have learned alot of new variables, functions and I know how to use a canvas. The tutor was very helpful and patient and we did many different challenges to help us remember them.

PyGame IS SO FUN!!!

Using PyGame to code games was excellent! Not only did we create fully working spaceship games, we also go to add our own creative elements! It was really fun to learn and it added onto my python skills, which were made by myself and some through other FunTech courses like AIML.

I thought the camp was very interesting and I could tell that the coaches were very experienced in their fields of coding. there was enough time to get fresh air so I didn't feel like a zombie staring at a screen all day.
