Course Review

The tutor was always ready to help or point out mistakes during the course and they were also really nice about it. Overall, I enjoyed learning part 2 of this OOP course since the content was fun and challenging all the time.

funtech camp

Overall the camp helped me learn me a lot about programing. the cmmunity was small wich helped us understanding the material bbetter. The teacher is very good, helped as every time. I think The camp was perfectly fine.

Brilliant Tutor

I was a bit sceptical over this course because I'm not one who enjoys camps. But thanks to my tutor Shuj who made the lesson feel much more chilled and entertaining. I was able to get the full enjoyment of the course and learn a lot of things.

OOP Day camp

Our son enjoyed this course, once again. This year he has also hugely enjoyed the residential experience in Tonbridge.

We really enjoyed ourselves. It is brilliant that he is learning Python. I told him if he combines that with SQL, he is well on his way to always being solvent and able to work remotely internationally in any specialist field of his choice. The main thing is, Vincent had lots of fun and was thrilled to learn.

He spoke highly of the teachers and clearly enjoyed the company of his new found mates.

He did express one oddity to me and it's truth made me laugh. Vincent loves computers and modern technology. He experiences reasons to limit on screen time. At FunTech it was unfettered freedom to fully immerse into the universe that exist on screen with like minded everyone around him and without time limit.

Sheer bliss and freedom...

Very good, high quality course

The course fully covered OOP with plenty of practice questions and exercises in order to keep the skills in your memory, as well as covering a lot of GUI with Tkinter. Overall amazing course!

It was very good!

I liked all the work we did with Tkinter as it was quite fun and everyday I managed to learn a lot and understood most of the content and tried my best to understand and work on the projects.

I have learnt alot

I barely knew any python before this course but now I feel very confident in my ability to code. The videos could have been better but if there was something I did not understand than Luke would understand it very clearly

The Python - OOP course was quite advanced knowledge wise but also enjoyable at the same time. All the tutors, especially Luke, were exceptionally kind, funny and very helpful in times of need (when doing python). Even the "screen-free" breaks were nice and I made some new friends. The python knowledge was quite hard to understand at first but FunTech helped me understand it well and I know most of it now.

It was really fun and I learned a lot.

I had a really good time with both the activities at lunch and the coding. I learned a lot and really upgraded my skills in python. The tutors helped me when I needed it but I was also allowed to figure things out for myself. Overall, it was a great experience!

Pretty Cool

The lessons were secure, but there was also opportunities for students to set their own challenges and test their abilities themselves. The lunch and evening activities created a great sense of community.

I did Python OOP Part 2

I learned how to make GUI in Python with object orientated programming and I can make really cool things in Python without needing to make shapes with characters in the console.

It was really fun.

I really loved it and i also really liked the pong project, i could make a lot of different things with the codes i learned.

Python OOP 2 Review

We explored more on how Object Orientated Programming works with the tkinter module, making games like pong and tic-tac-toe (noughts and crosses) and I enjoyed it.

It was really fun.

The camp was amazing, i learned a lot of new things and doing the last project was amazing as well! The tutor was really friendly.

oop part 1 review

I really liked how the lessons were structured(especially the units and checkpoint questions). sometimes the videos were slightly confusing but it was mostly explained by the tutor which was helpful.

FunTech OOP Camp

The camp was extremely enjoyable and fun while learning tons of new stuff each day. The teacher was extremely kind and was very helpful when we asked for help. The environment was very friendly and helped us learn quicker.

Amazing!

The course was interesting and challenging with readily available help. My tutor Shuj was happy to explain anything at anytime. The course was well organised and covered a wide range of coding skills and challenges.

Python OOP course at LVS

My daughter really enjoyed the course and came away with a good understanding of the material. The instructor was particularly helpful and took the time to make sure everything was explained well.

My week at funtech was very challenging due to OOP being new knowledge. HOWEVER, our tutor Mr Sam has helped our class throughout meaning we were able to understand OOP in new way. Another key figure was Joe as he helped during lunchtimes when were were trying to code wordle. Overall it was a great experience and would do again but I would say a key part that made it better was my 4 peers and amazing tutor.

Nice camp

I enjoyed the python OOP course as I learned a lot and felt like improving each day. In addition to that, the creation of multiple projects was really entertaining . Even if it can be frustrating finding our mistakes , the tutor is always here to help us!

I really enjoyed this camp and I had a lot of fun. However, it is slightly too long for me although this is my personal preference, which is why I have given it 5 stars. I learned so much and I can now code a lot of things without needing help, thanks to the course and good teaching. Even if I forget some things, the key concepts will still be there and I can now code in future when I need it (which I definitely will). I would recommend the course, although not to people with a short attention span.
