Another brilliant week - thank you

This is the third course we have done and it was as good as we hoped. The course leader did a great job of supporting everyone’s needs whilst keeping them all engaged and was super helpful when something wasn’t working for us.

Thanks for this, the course was great and William loved the trainer. I was impressed with the demo at the end of it, it certainly brought William's creativity out and he expanded on his game after the course.

Both my kids did the Roblox game designer holiday course, it has been one of theire most enjoyable experiences over the summer holidays. I was very impressed with what they had learned. Both my kids couldn’t stop telling me how wonderful, kind and helpful theire teacher was (Hiba)
The structure of the course was brilliant with lots of breaks and play time incorporated within the day. My kids can’t wait to go back and learn more! (They are going to have to teach me!)

Our son is 7 and was keen to do this camp but we had no idea what to expect or whether it might be too intense for him. He came home buzzing every night and bounced in every morning, telling us all about the friends he had made and how much fun he was having. We were incredibly impressed with the communication from FunTech and how they touched base with us during the week, letting us know how he was doing.

He is already talking about what course he will do next time and insists that he wants to do it as a residential.

We wholeheartedly recommend FunTech to anyone, for the care and support they take of the students and the high level of expertise. Thank you, from one very happy little boy!!

I'd been looking for a tech course for our daughter to do during the holidays. She is a Roblox fan, so when I found FunTech we enrolled her on two courses on Roblox Game Designer (parts 1 and 2).
It was a Virtual Camp and although she needed a little help getting set up, she was fine once connected to the class and sharing the screen. She found it both fun and challenging. The tutors were very good and listened to the feedback. As a parent it was great to see my child in relaxed classroom environment, gaining confidence while having fun. Highly recommended.

As we are up north we couldn’t access the in person camps and so booked an online course.
It was really well run, well structured with good resources and time management to cover all the topics.

Roblox camp

This was the most productive screen time in holidays for my daughter. It was truly a fun learning experience. I was happy to see her so happy and confident while learning Roblox designs. I'm certain she would be part of more holiday camps in future.

Virtual Camps

Good virtual camp, the tech set-up is comprehensive (best I've seen) and camp content is interesting. Good small group tailored learning. They really do monitor whether the children is paying attention and learning.

Very engaging for my son

Really good course for my 10 year old whose highlight was creating his own obby, loved showing it to his older sister.

Instructor was great and very patient with them all. Would recommend.

My 8 year old attended the online virtual camp this summer. I was originally a bit worried that I would have to stay with her the whole time to help her out when she became stuck- however I was pleasantly surprised she did the whole course without any assistance from myself at all. The tutor was excellent and managed to help her when she became stuck and my daughter said she really enjoyed the course and the biggest thing for me was I didn’t have to fight to get her to do it. I would def recommend for kids who love Roblox.

The teacher kept him engaged and we were so impressed with our son's focus and astounded by what he managed to build within the week. It did exactly what it says on the tin and more, he is now super confident about building Roblox games and is continuing to build them. Both my 10 year old and 7 year old completed the Roblox Designer camp this summer, after my eldest completed Minecraft Mod developer last year. They were delighted with the content, learned a lot and couldn’t contain their enthusiasm to show me their designs at the end of each day. Needless to say, they are already discussing which Funtech course to do next. Staff were friendly and helpful and the girls loved their instructors. Look forward to next summer!

It was a great experience for my son

I was nervous leaving my 11 year old for a week long trip but the staff (shoutout to Anil) were very helpful and assuaged my fears about the doors being unlocked. The course tutor was very knowledgeable and Ismail picked up some great new skills which can be transferred to every day life as well....

I was nervous leaving my 11 year old for a week long trip but the staff (shoutout to Anil) were very helpful and assuaged my fears about the doors being unlocked. The course tutor was very knowledgeable and Ismail picked up some great new skills which can be transferred to every day life as well. He is now a more responsible person and makes his own bed, switches off lights and picks up after meals by himself. I think this trip was very good for him because it taught him the importance of independence and taking responsibility for his actions. He made two games and a whole host of new friends. I will definitely be looking to send him again.

I would also like to say thank you to the staff who comforted Ismail when he was feeling homesick and let me speak to him when I was missing him too!

One little thing I would mention is to have better signposting when parents come to collect kids. We didn’t have any clue where to go or where to collect the suitcases from. Apart from that I can’t fault the programme in any way. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

A great camp with amazing instructors

My son did the Minecraft and Roblox camps for the second time and he loved every minute. The instructors were fun, attentive and very switched on. My son has already asked me to book for next time. Thank you Funtech!

The trainer had immense patience with her and the others in the class.
Warmly recommend it.
Mine wanted me around her whilst she did the class but every child is different.

Engaging and creative

Christopher has a great time. The course is very engaging and he learnt a lot in a week course. He was so excited every morning and ready for the camp.

A Great Experience
