This course is really imaginative so it's perfect for creative people. It teaches the basics of scripting, terrain modeling, entities and so many other amazing things. The tutors, Joe and Rishi were amazing and knew exactly how to keep us engaged.
Although I loved this course, I will admit that I personally preferred coding - which I did last year with the other tutor who taught this course, Joe. However, this is solely based on my preference when it comes to the content.

The camp teaches a good life lesson which will be useful in later life. However though it was a good camp to learn to touch type WELL it does take time and wont be accomplished in only one week. Subsequently to get really good you must also type after the camp is over. That being said in a week the camp does teach well and if your child concentrates they will make a great improvement in their touch typing.

this week was amazing! first off, i would like to say that the first day of the camp can be quite boring, but afterwards its soooooooooo fun!!!!!!!! i also would like to say that the age rating is quite accurate, and should not book your kid if they're below the age limit. (if they're above its fine though) the week was amazing, and i learnt so many valuable skills in game creation. i absolutely recommend this course!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this funtech camp. I learned so much as I had never tried java script coding.

To conclude the touch typing isn't the best course here i would recommend 3D design because the printer looked really cool.

Completely amazing!

3d game design was excellent, we learnt how to make our own characters and levels. My tutor William was awesome and very helpful

It was brilliant!

It was very good and I learned a lot. I did coding level 1 and I learnt 3 basic functions.We also learnt things like loops and if statements.

funtech week

This week at funtech was fun on the first day we built a lego car it was a robot we could program it because it had an EV3. The next day we learned how to program it was easy but on the next day it got harder and it kept on getting harder.There were a few challenges.

Good course, I learnt many game design techniques that I can apply to other software. As good as the teaching and instruction was, I was slightly let down by Game Guru's limitations. Otherwise it was a good introduction and overall a good course.

It was a really enjoyable summer day camp, and I learnt something. I would definitely recommend it to others. The video was really informative, and we were occasionally allowed to link worlds! The outings to the park were fun too.

I really enjoyed it and it was a great start to summer camps as I haven't done one before! Our teacher was great and really helpful and i can't wait to come back next time!!

Best experience ever

I had a lot of fun and I learned quite a lot of minecraft mods. I recommnded to everyone who likes minecraft. the camp was awesome!!!!!!!!

Amazing but expensive

On coming to Funtech, I have had an amazing experience and have leaned lots on Minecraft and coding. It has been very fun with an amazing experience every lunchtime with a wide range of activities.(Free Lunch) but a bit expensive.

I would definitely recommend this camp for your son/daughter. This was very hard at the beginning but gradually became easier. I know it's very expensive but if you can get past this fact then your child has an amazing skill for life. I really enjoyed the course and I learnt a lot of stuff. The staff were very kind and let us go to the park if it wasn't raining!

CHALLENGING BUT FUN

I enjoyed funtyper a lot but it was challenging but more importantly it was fun!

Funtyper was fun!!! I learned a lot and practised as much typing as I could!!!!!!!! Now I can type without looking! It was challenging but fun. I really enjoyed it.

Awesome lessons,great breaks! I really enjoyed the sessions in the lab and the activities in between the only bad bit was the food. I really would like to come back again to do a different course.

When I first arrived at FunTech I was unsure and felt awkward about the situation. But after a short wile We where shown to our rooms in one of the boys boarding houses. The rooms are medium sized with a single bed and wardrobe, desk and cupboard,one room per person.
Shortly after we went down stairs to the games room and played some ping pong and and watched a film before going to dinner.The next day we woke up at 7 and went to breakfast at 7:30 am we then started to type .Typing was made fun with the various games and activities throughout, from start to finish in the week we where indulged in various activities which consisted of lazer tag, water sports, gladiator,basketball challenge and lots more.I would score the food 8 out of 10 as it has lots of variety,overall I got to learn how to touch type make new friends do fun activities and eat nice food.[I HAD A GREAT TIME].
