This year at Funtech has been enjoyable with the adobe apps we learnt such as illustrator, photoshop, animation, and Dreamweaver. I enjoy photoshop over illustrator but they are both fantastic and I enjoy doing the lessons. I do love this year with Funtech and doing animations and writing code ...

I really liked the Pure coder 1 class and most of the classes were interesting, and it's fun to think about how some games would work with Pycharm, I had a good time with my classmates and teacher. Happy summer.

The content of this course was interesting and I learned how to code a lot of different elements such as creating a server and clients.
Each lesson was a little bit too short for the content we had to cover so we were sometimes behind the unit number
FunTech Response
I believe the group had a lot of questions and as such the group were behind.
That said, we extended the lessons and added some prep sessions so all content was successfully covered by the end of the course.
Looking at the groups end of term test results, due to the intense questioning, your group were in the top ten of all students at FunTech!
Pays to ask questions in class!
Can't believe the upcoming year will be the 7th year for you at FunTech!
See you in September!

All of the lessons have been highly engaging, the teachers interesting and the content is succinct and understandable. Lessons are long, but time seems to fly while learning. Overall, lessons have been very good, and the work is covered well. However, the homework has very high redo standar...
FunTech Response
I believe that you fell behind on a few homework assignments, which then resulted in these having to be redone, which I can appreciate can be demotivating.
That said... you have now caught up and I believe a great lesson learnt - don't fall behind ;)

I found this course to be very useful and well-explained. All problems that I have mentioned have all been dealt with quite nice. The teachers are quite friendly and really good at communicating with students. Despite that however I find it a bit cumbersome to have type reviews every lesson as it...
FunTech Response
The reason we ask for feedback after each session, is to ensure that you have fully understood what has been taught, if not of course we would book a 1-2-1 prep session for you.
So sadly, a must!

An interesting course about gaming in python but a lot of code needs to be memorised. Quite a bit of content and time needs to be spent learning it all. It is very intriguing to learn.
FunTech Response
The previous 3 years of courses that you have done with us are about learning Python and Python OOP.
This course teaches how to implement those skills in building a game engine, which is challenging.
However, I can see that you have not completed any of your Consolidate IT challenges which are available after class, and their objective is to help you consolidate what you covered in class.
Next year I would highly recommend that you complete these as C++ will be even more challenging :)

At the start I thought there'd be no way I'd be able to make a 2D game engine in Python, but here I am I guess. The Tutor was great and clearly knew a lot more than what was needed, so that was really great. I did get lost along the way a few times but I understood what was going on in general...
FunTech Response
I am so thrilled that you learnt how to make a 2D Game Engine!
Back in the day the course used to teach by building on a single project however, we felt that it didn't really teach all the principles to the standard we wanted.
We therefore developed another course where the primary focus was on teaching the concepts, where all students could go away and develop their own game.
Both courses were piloted and the course where we focused on teaching concepts won hands down!
That said, I will pass your comments to our development team and see if there is anything that could be done.

Hi Hugo, we know you well now as you have just completed your 4th year with FunTech and am thrilled that you have enrolled for your 5th year with us.
Whilst I am sorry you didn't enjoy Advanced Word Processing which was covered in term one, I am extremely happy to see that you did really well on your end of term test.
That said, we know you love the more technical courses and so not surprised you really enjoyed Advanced Spreadsheets and Databases with SQL.
Look forward to seeing you again in September!
