This year at Funtech has been enjoyable with the adobe apps we learnt such as illustrator, photoshop, animation, and Dreamweaver. I enjoy photoshop over illustrator but they are both fantastic and I enjoy doing the lessons. I do love this year with Funtech and doing animations and writing code with the tutors, though I would be joyful having more JavaScript code lessons.

Pure coder Review

I really liked the Pure coder 1 class and most of the classes were interesting, and it's fun to think about how some games would work with Pycharm, I had a good time with my classmates and teacher. Happy summer.

PC01 was a good and fun course and content was taught well

The content of this course was interesting and I learned how to code a lot of different elements such as creating a server and clients.
Each lesson was a little bit too short for the content we had to cover so we were sometimes behind the unit number

All of the lessons have been highly engaging, the teachers interesting and the content is succinct and understandable.
Lessons are long, but time seems to fly while learning.
Overall, lessons have been very good, and the work is covered well.
However, the homework has very high redo standards (not even 90% overall, 90% for each question), and necessitates multiple redos for each submission.
This can easily pile up and be demotivating.
But, overall, the course has been interesting, covered well, and is great.

I found this course to be very useful and well-explained. All problems that I have mentioned have all been dealt with quite nice. The teachers are quite friendly and really good at communicating with students. Despite that however I find it a bit cumbersome to have type reviews every lesson as it is hard to give meaningful feedback and it is a tad bit annoying. Otherwise from that, this was a really great experience and am glad to have been a part of it.

My year at FunTech

It has been a brilliant year with topic ranging from Music to Film Editing to coding platformer games. Our teacher, has been super kind, helpful and very nice. We learnt a lot, and I have learnt a lot.

Funtech PureCoder Level 2

It was very fun. I learnt a lot about python and I can now code fluently in python. We made many projects and we learnt about classes, Tkinter, Graphs, Queues and Stacks.

Interesting but difficult

An interesting course about gaming in python but a lot of code needs to be memorised. Quite a bit of content and time needs to be spent learning it all. It is very intriguing to learn.

At the start I thought there'd be no way I'd be able to make a 2D game engine in Python, but here I am I guess.
The Tutor was great and clearly knew a lot more than what was needed, so that was really great.
I did get lost along the way a few times but I understood what was going on in general quite confidently just the little small things were what sometimes confused me.
Can't wait to continue FunTech next year, though that isn't Purecoder, I'm certain it will be just as good.
I think what would be cool would be to have a game we plan on building in the end, and adding to the same file(s) every week and slowly building up to one big game at the end, rather than tons of smaller units and files.
Thanks a lot for a great year in which we covered a lot of content.

FunTech Java Camp helped me so much during the holidays, as I learned lots of new codes and techniques of Java. Usually, I do Python but now this is something else and it is interesting that it is an another coding platform/software. There is lots of different types of coding variables that is not in Python. During this insane journey of learning Java, I have been amazed by how much this could improve my coding skills and help me with my future. Learning different types of coding platforms will inspire me and make me becoming a professional coder. As well as learning new things. It has been so fun because we made lots of different lessons/topics. This will help me on and thank you for making this amazing camp!

FunTech's Python Coding Course

This was a fun course and I learned a lot. But the problem was is that I would sometimes have to get water or leave the workspace to do something that wasn't in the break and end up not getting what we were doing and sometimes having to wait 10 minutes for people to catch up on each exercise. This was a fun course and I learned a lot. But the problem was is that I would sometimes have to get water or leave the workspace to do something that wasn't in the break and end up not getting what we were doing and sometimes having to wait 10 minutes for people to catch up on each exercise. But all the same it was okay and there were no rude comments or being left out on something. I would recommend this course to people who have never done coding before and want to try it so they won't get bored on the first day. I appreciate the effort FunTech has put in to help me figure out if I should go to the next level or stay in this course.

I thought the course helped me a lot and I learnt how to code python for the first time. This was all really interesting that I want to show my family and teach them some python too. Our teacher was kind and really helpful to the class when we were struggling with bits that we didn't understan...

I thought the course helped me a lot and I learnt how to code python for the first time. This was all really interesting that I want to show my family and teach them some python too.

Our teacher was kind and really helpful to the class when we were struggling with bits that we didn't understand. He was always on time when coming back from the breaks and worked hard to give extra time to teach people parts they were stuck on (eg When I struggled he told me to come into the meet 30 minutes before the lesson started and helped me with bits I did not understand). If someone didn't finish something he would explain how to do the code and then give him/her his code and tell them what they could do better next time.

This was a really good experience for me and thank you so much for the lessons and teaching me lots of new and interesting things.

Thank you so much and I hope we might meet again when doing the FunTech camp again!

My Review title

It was a really fun course I enjoyed it a lot. I learned a lot of new codes. But I didn't really like giving feedback everyday.

FunTech Python OOP was great

The course was very entertaining and engaging but the screen sharing software doesn't like my computer. The classes are small enough for individual attention and there is no stress about getting helped

Good course

The course was interesting and fun, I learnt lots and enjoyed the course. I would recommend it.

Great Experience

Overall I enjoyed it and it helped me increase my programming skills although I felt like the work at the beginning was a bit too simple but those skills still helped me when i was doing my final project

WOW! is the only word that could possibly describe this course. It is one of the best experiences I've had (not to mention now I can tell my mum I learn when I play minecraft). On the first day of the course, in the morning, I thought it was gonna be really boring because we were watching videos how to play minecraft (as an experienced minecraft player i found this very dull) but in the afternoon we started coding and i had so much fun. In the week things I only dreamed of being able to do on minecraft such as: build minigames, make a robot build for me and much more. I found that having such a small group of people in the course made it easier for the teacher to help us and made sure no-one didn't get help and support. This was my first course with funtech but I assure myself i will do more in the future. I play minecraft a lot so now i will be able to show my friends all the experience I've gained. i am so pround of how i have grown in this past week.

I really enjoyed the course with all the building and new things we learnt each day. Even though at the start there was and issue with the software and updates all of the technology team were very great at fixing the issue and then scheduling a catch up lesson.

I really enjoyed the python course and I have learnt lots of new coding skills. I now have a basic understanding of python coding. I thought the teaching methods were very good with the videos and frequent stops to learn new things. However, I found the maths part of it a bit hard and thought it could have been a little better explained as well as breaking it up a bit, so it is not just a day of the maths part.

Overall, I very much enjoyed the python course and would recommend it to anybody.

Funtech Coding

I enjoyed the web meetings, because I learned a lot about coding, like how to print messages and make loops. The lessons were interactive and that made them fun.

Brilliant Roblox Review

I loved the 2 weeks of Roblox course it gave me something to do, not just that it teached as how to make games. So it is clear I really liked the Roblox course. At times it was a little bit hard but we got past it.

Very fun!

I enjoyed this years funtech camp very much! Despite COVID and being not able to go there physically I still got help when I needed It and I made some games and learned some skills to make even more if the future! The Tutor was really nice too! Will be coming back next year (hopefully in person!)

Mods Camp

I've had lots fun on the camp and have learnt loads over the week. The last day was doing mine own things and I found it hard to come up with ideas. Overall it was really good.

Summer Camp

Riley had a fantastic time at his camp and came back each day brimming with ideas. He liked the teacher and the pace of the teaching.

roblox dev: g o o d it was

Great week and learned so much about making games in Roblox, can't wait to start to make a pay-to-win simulator game to farm Roblox! The only problem I had was that the time between the start and end of the daily sessions are way too long...

i went to the roblox camp and at first i felt it was a lonely place with all the phones people were on but i feel funtech helped me be really happy and its great to end on a high and not a low

I liked the camp a lot because the teachers were very kind especially Sanchia since she helped me so much.

I've really enjoyed this camp because even though the games were really really hard I thing it was worth it because now I have almost learnt to touch -type .
overall I have really enjoyed this camp and definitely come back. ❤

Touch typing- Brilliant.........

It was good the teachers were lovely and kept coming to check to see if you were in the correct posture and how your hands were. They corrected you when you were wrong and complimented you when you were right. We had a few competitions which were great but I wished we had more. We got to unlock...

It was good the teachers were lovely and kept coming to check to see if you were in the correct posture and how your hands were. They corrected you when you were wrong and complimented you when you were right. We had a few competitions which were great but I wished we had more. We got to unlock games and got to try and beat the teachers. We even got to type out stories. I learnt lots and would come again! Everyone got chips which motivated us to keep going and unlock new games. We also got these keyboard covers which could be a challenge at times! but overall it helped us to improve.

Amazing Camp

It was great , The whole week Was Amazing I learnt so much. Ranging from Good Posture to not looking at the screen I felt like I've improved in touch typing and posture helps touch typing The course was great! 10/10.
