I enjoyed this course because I have got to go in depth with coding . I think this can help me in my computer science at school because this is complex coding and i will be very confident.

Advanced Python

I found this course challenging. However, it was explained well by the tutor and I usually found it enjoyable. However, at times, it could become a little boring and repetitive. However, I enjoyed a lot and would do it again if I had not done it before.

A bit of a slow start as Jamie had already worked with Python. But after initial 2 sessions he found it really good. Worked well doing half a day over 2 weeks worked well.

This created a game that felt like your own game and not just one created from instructions.

The experience was nice as the teacher was ready to help and everyone was mostly doing the same things.

Funtech Python coder

The majority of the course was good and I learnt a lot from it. However, there were a lot of applications to install and some took a long time to install. I enjoyed creating my own sprites and sounds and the course was easy to follow.

The course was really fun! We got to learn how to make games and got an insight to game-making. We made a spaceship shooter game which is very fun. We learned lots of new techniques in python that may help us in our future. Altogether it was a very fun course

It was quite a fun camp and was organised very well, I liked this one more than the python beginner course. And the Tutor (Matthew or Matt ) was very helpful and I think he explained things quite well.

It was an interesting and helpful course in general but felt a bit slow at some points.

Very good. I learnt lots and my game result was really good and it was fun. The tutor was very good, but he didn't offer extra lessons which other tutors have.

I wanted to give it a 3.5- There was not an option. The first day was filled with recapitalisation that I found extremely useful and easy to follow. Over the next days we zoomed through making a basic game, we were ahead of the schedule-however I wished we went a tad slower as I would of liked some of the individual lines explained. Either way I was still after which I am grateful for. In the second week we made our games unique, we were supported by the teacher and had plenty of fun! Overall the one thing that I assume would happen in normal circumstances -that did not happen- was seeing each other... if some of the other students had cameras on , and if we played each others games, I believe it would be even better! Thank you !!!

At the end of the two weeks you have a fun game that works really well. I made a fully functioning terraria shooter game with music a boss and many other cool things! The course is split into two weeks -week 1 ; hard work understanding and coding the basics of your game. and week 2 ; freedom and more fun in your game. You get more help and your game is really cool! You should definitely take this course if you have some python or programming knowledge/experience.

it was a fun way of learning python and game creation. the pacing can be fast but that is kinda because they need something presentable within 2 weeks so i don't mind

Great Course!

I enjoyed learning how to make games using python and pygame. I especially liked learning how to use functions and classes to make our lives easier, saving us time, code and memory.

Python Game Developer Two Week afternoon course

The course stared off a bit slow as they had to teach us the basics of python but once we started the Pygame topic is was really good and enjoyable

Very fun, quite challangeing

the past to weeks have been very fun and i strongly suggest you try it. It's so fun to learn to code, but sometimes i found it a bit hard to keep up.

The course was fun and it was nice to be able to put graphics with code to make more games.

I was going to give it 4.5 stars but that is not an option. This was very good and I have learnt lots of python I did not know before and I made an amazing game.

I really enjoyed the course. I would have liked to get more done but we ran out of time to do some of the extra things i would have liked to get done. I have learnt lots more about python which i really wanted to.

Overall, the course was really good. We learnt a lot of new code and was taught well. It was slow a few times when we had a few problems but other than that I enjoyed it.

It was good and I got through it well but I think maybe one longer break instead of two short break would better as you can't do much in 15 minutes. The virtual machine disconnected quite often aswell.

The course was quite interesting, and it was good that everyone was given a grounding in the basics beforehand.

The course was really good and informative, but the code sometimes went by too quickly.

I think that it is a good course but I recommend it to competent programmers as it is structured in a very complicated way.

It was fun and I enjoyed it very much

I really enjoyed the course and I feel that I learned a lot from it. The tutor was nice and the course was overall quite good. The only negative thing is that I think there were a few too many children in one session.

Very Good

I enjoyed this a lot over the last 2 weeks and it was a very welcome distraction from the boredom of the Covid 19 self-isolation period. However having experienced both daytime camps and virtual ones, I prefer the daytime ones as internet doesn't always work to well.

Great Camp

Sam was a great teacher and he made the classes so much fun. the actual course was interesting and i learnt a lot, although i was a shame that my camp was moved around a bit from the original camp i wanted to do.

Really fun to make the game with good and easy-to-follow instructions. Learnt a lot of new code as well. lunch time a bit too long but really fun good course.

i use to do scrach and lego robotics and it was to easy but python is a nice challenge if i'm stuck i have jack to help me

Funtech daycamp review

This pygame course was very fun, and i loved making the game and playing it, but i think that the pace was a bit slow, I could've worked faster. Other than that, i really enjoyed the course, and i had a great time!
