The tutors are always there to help and can usually fix any problem any of us have ever had (us being our class). It can take a bit to get up to speed but is very fun towards the end as you make games that you are genuinely proud of. Unreal engine makes it simple to design and build your dream game or any other game. Would definitely recommend and would happily do it again.

These last 2 weeks have been amazing as usual Funtech is amazing Kevin was really nice and always willing to help and the best course I have taken.

Great experience

My 10 year-old had a great time at Tonbridge. The camp was well-organized, with a good mix of classes, fun activities and regular timed- breaks.

A wonderful experience overall.

Very cool

I made a chatbot, sentiment analyser, happiness calculator, image classifier, Saul, landmark/location recogniser, entity finder, image describer, etc.
I vey much enjoyed it and the tutor was great :)

Tutors are very good at teaching, and the course is very helpful and inclusive. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is £475 for an online call is quite expensive. otherwise, this was great!

Very encouraging atmosphere to learn touch typing. Happy to go off everyday and could see the progress!

The overall course was fun.
There were parts that were a bit boring but when learning something there always is.
I enjoyed making the games the most.
Especially the rock,paper scissors and the end of course games.

My Funtech experience

I personally took part in this course to refresh a few topics and fix up anything I didn't know going into gcse course over the last two weeks funtech has refreshed my understanding on topics while also helping me learn new topics such as sorting codes. Additionally it has also been a fun experience

I feel more confident using python because the tutor made sure we that all understood what we were doing. I learnt a lot in 2 weeks and enjoyed doing the final project.

Roblox Game Developer

It was extremely fun to do and I leant a lot although we didn't do lua coding whereas the page for this course says it has lua coding. I learnt how to use constraints, forces, properties and the terrain editor!

FunTech review

This course was very fun and I understood how to code in Python/PyCharm. The tutor was very nice and made the lessons fun.

A good experience

The Funtech Camp was really good. I got to improve my coding skills by doing fun challenges. I found the start of the course really useful to recap on what I had done and it was interesting to learn some different things about coding by using Tkinter. Overall, a very useful 2 weeks.

this year was great i learned so many new skills i didn't even know i had.
My favorite subject was PhotoShop i quickly got new friends and it was extrordanarely good as allways . the teachrs where realy nice and freindly.

Cybersecurity Residential Camp

My son had a great week away at the residential cybersecurity camp this summer. His instructor was engaging and a great communicator, my son really enjoyed the course. The dormitories were super. Food was good.

We will definitely be booking again next summer.

He seemed to be occupied and interested for the whole 5 days .. we have previously done just pms so this week was intensive but it seemed to work well for him and I think he had leant new things that were previously gaps in his knowledge.

I think these funtech courses have been very professionally presented and run and I am very impressed with the level and standard of knowledge and teaching on offer.

I just wanted to say how much Dylan and Seren loved touch typing. They were both a bit sceptical when I told them that I’d booked it but they really enjoyed the lessons and games and didn’t seem to realise they were learning to touch type!

Just wanted to share my views on how the fun typer day camp for both Aidan (14 yrs old) and Amelie (12 yrs old)
They both enjoyed the camp and the rapport built with Riz (tutor) and other tutors during the week.
The interactive approach to using games and rewards with real money worked well given the ages.
The focus on posture and leg position was of benefit

I understand this was more of a game approach that works well with Children but given the ages of my children I would have liked to see more real life speed typing challenges with real text etc to see the accuracy and WPM levels. This was particularly the case as both have extensive experience of using a home pc product to developing accuracy and WPM levels so I was hoping towards the end of the week this area would have been explored.

A brilliant course!

This was a brilliant course for my 15 year old daughter. Just the right level, and with a wonderful teacher providing all the support that was needed. She thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very professional and engaging course

The course was very professional and challenging.
The level was high and kept our son engaged at all times.
The teacher was patient and attentive to all the students and managed to steer the lesson in the right direction.

We were very happy with the camp and would recommend it.

Luke (who is 14) really enjoyed this course. He spoke highly of the course teacher and said the course was well run and there was a small enough number of students that they got a good amount of individual attention.

He particularly enjoyed the fact that the teacher didn’t dictate what to write, but gave examples with explanations and then left the students to write their own code.

Highly recommended.
