I have waited eagerly for every session with FunTech, this whole year has been amazing. The Excel and Word courses expanded my knowledge greatly and The SQL course taught me something new altogether! I have really enjoyed it!

This year was really fun, I particularly enjoyed using html to make websites, my favourite lesson was actually the last one because I found making a website on something I enjoy really cool.

My first year was pretty fun for the most part with some exceptions like word but otherwise the year was fun and would recommend if you want to learn a few skills on a computer.

I enjoyed learning Python at FunTech and was able to complete the content of each lesson. The lessons went at a good pace that was not too slow but was slow enough that I was able to understand each unit well without ever missing something. Even during catchup lessons due to missing some lesso...

The lessons went at a good pace that was not too slow but was slow enough that I was able to understand each unit well without ever missing something. Even during catchup lessons due to missing some lessons I was able to understand and complete all of the content and did not fall behind in the lessons after.

The course over all was amazing and I would really want to see my tutor again one day this course has taught me so much and it's really sad having to leave.I would highly recommend this to anyone else wanting to learn python.

The course this year was very fun and enjoyable. I learned a lot of new stuff since the start of the year. My favorite part was building pacman at the end of the year.

I enjoyed my PureCoder - Level 4 course because it was extremely informational and taught me well at a good pace. The challenges were able to teach me and were all suited to keeping the new coding language in my memory, which made the coding easier even though it dealt with very complex topics. One of the things which I do not recollect as well as other things is the file manipulation of C++, but I was able to easily check through previous challenges to find out what I needed to do,

Overall, a very good course for learning C++

Very Informative Course

I have enjoyed this course a lot and learnt a lot from it too. It covers various python topics such as classes, the tkinter library and graphs. I would definitely recommend this course.

My year was brilliant. My tutor was the best tutor ever! He is kind, helps me when I am stuck or I forget something and more!

I am so grateful for FunTech teaching me all these things I would NEVER have KNOWN!

Now I'd even consider buying most of this software! (except for MySQL, because that is free :) )

My experience with FunTech has been absolutely amazing - some would argue flawless - and I could not have enjoyed it anymore. Whether it was a substitute tutor or a catch-up lesson, I was always learning and never missed out on a lesson. I was never behind nor infront of anyone in my learning. This proves how efficiently run HQ is. Lessons are always full of new information, most of which stays with me for a long time, and each new subject was incredibly fun! This course has been excellent, and I must add a special thank you to all the tutors which have taught me. They have been so extremely helpful and determined to teach us, stopping to make sure we understand what is going on and guiding us whenever we need help. They are so incredibly knowledgeable and have been taught well. My favourite course was Adobe Animate becuse of the sheer amount I had learnt. Thank you, Funtech!

Funtech was so much fun

I have enjoyed FunTech because you get to learn new things to do with the computer. You don't need to leave your house to do it.

Last year I had no idea how to code a thing, coming to Funtech, I now know so much to do with coding. Funtech has given me an opportunity to create games, draw things using a mouse, and learn how to define functions all by code. I now realise that there is so much to coding. My favourite part of the course purecoder level 1 was when we had to edit an adventure game where the user has to make decisions to be safe and get through the jungle. Or using turtle. I just think it would be a little bit better if they gave us online notes or PDFs to hold onto with all of what we have learnt. Overall, I have learnt a lot from the Funtech course and I would recommend it to other children who want to start learning how to code.

This year in funtech has been a very educational and fun year. I especially enjoyed excel and SQL since they both were explained in such a way it made it easy to understand. The SQL was quite easy to remember, while excel was a good way to learn how to organize and solve problems. Graphic design was very fun as we learnt how to edit and improve different objects. Animation is funtech was such a good experience as we were thoroughly taught how to make shapes and objects move. We were also showed how to move around multiple objects with audio to make it seem like the person was talking. Word processing was quite entertaining as it helps with the basic key bits to learning in your day to day life if you need to write a letter or a macro to redo. Web design was difficult at first but it was truly was conquerable. Overall Funtech is definetly worth going to for a good head start and its able for most ages.

Year Review

I enjoyed this year as it was easy to understand all the code we needed to use and then use it in MySQL. I found it fairly easy to catch up as I joined later although I found it easy to catch up and then learn more in the lessons after.

I enjoyed this course and my favourite topic was Adobe Photoshop, as I learnt lots of things I can use in school and in general for editing photos. It was difficult to use at the start and very easy to get confused, but now I can make and edit photos. I liked Illustrator and the skills we learnt were very useful, we made logos and icons and tutor feedback was very beneficial. Animate was fun to do as it was more artistic and creative, whereas Dreamweaver was less creative and more thinking. Dreamweaver was really interesting and cool to build websites! Dreamweaver could be difficult at times but my tutors were very patient and helped me to understand the concept. When we did Word and Excel, I already new lots of things but I learnt far more and fin the skills we learnt very useful. Databases was interesting and could be difficult to follow and understand but once you knew what you were doing it was fine. Finally it was SQL, which was very hard to understand at times but my tutors really helped!

A Great Introduction to C++

Throughout the year we learnt all the essentials of C++ in an engaging way and it is a great basis to go off for future personal projects. You are always able to ask questions or ask for extra help/clarification when needed.

I had a great time and I most enjoyed getting familiar with the key board because it also got me in the top 5 in fastest typing in my class, we even made fully functional video games!
