They make sure that Funtech is actually fun and are happy to teach you things outside of the course if it might help with your project - since they have studied the subjects of the courses to a high level, they know a lot more than just what's in the course and are happy to explain extra to you :)

Great! At the start of the week, I had very little knowledge of Python, and am now comfortable writing complex programs (such as text-based videogames and basic user interfaces). The atmosphere was relaxed, and breaks were plentiful but not excessive, with numerous fun activities (such as "Capture The Flag" and "Dodgeball") during lunchtimes. The tutors were very helpful when I didn't understand anything or my code wasn't working as intended and I couldn't figure out why.

The week was very fun and productive, the residential section was very fun and the classes taught me a lot I didn't know before. I made some good friends here and would definitely come again.

General Python OOP - Matas

I had a great 5 days here in FunTech, and learnt lot's of new ways to code in Python. I am happy to know these things, and I will be definitely using them outside of FunTech in my own projects at home. Definitely recommend, and you will most likely learn a lot!

It was very fun and i understood the course. I learned loads and I will be able to use this in minecraft. This is very useful as it can also be linked to physics and other things.

FUNtech

I liked this camp a lot, because I got to do what I wanted to do almost all of the time, made my own game, had lots of free time and learnt some scripting. This was super fun and I would like to come again!

I loved this camp and it was so fun to make my own game. I am so glad and amazed at the game I made because all my friends say its great. I would highly recommend this camp to everyone. I am sad i have to go. Coming back next year.

I really enjoyed the Funtech experience. the tutors cared and helped us out, the dorms were good with spacious wardrobes to sleep in, I didn't learn much because I'm already fluent with my course, but there was a lot of good information which was perfect for beginners. I think there should be a more advanced course since Minecraft Redstone has so many possibilities. I mastered a card shuffling technique here thanks to Teague Bidwell, and my other tutor Alex helped too, and we talked about BTD6 together. I made a few friends, and one really good one. They really do put the 'Fun' before the 'Tech', while still making sure the 'Tech' gets done.

The course has been amazing and the teacher/tutor explained everything very clearly funtech over my experiance of my time as been exhilarating and i have enjoyed every bit of it. It was easy making freinds.
Despite the tutoring bieng online making freinds was suprisingly easy.
In my opinion the course is most certainly worth it and highly recommended.
The teacher Kevin was amasing he was so energetic and helpful towards our needs and the help of the understanding of the code.
If you ever get the chance to be with these amazing people I would 100% do the course.
I want to thank FunTech for everything and if I were to rate the course I would definitely rate it out of 10 a 1,000 out of.
This course has definitley inspired me to carry on coding.
This was a life changing experience for me and I can now understand code to be able to code mostly anything.

Very fun I enjoyed it a lot.
Obviously this is different from the first level which made it a lot more worthwhile since I have gotten better and I think this is an efficient way to learn as a group as we can learn from other people's problems.
Also the tutors are nice and the class sizes are just about right which enables a good learning experience for everyone. Since there are so many courses most people are on about the same level.
The units are set in a good order where the things we have covered before can be used in the current unit, which is helpful as we can look back to see our previous codes to refresh our memory.
One thing that can be an improvement though is that sometimes the course goes a bit fast for some of our likings (not for me).
So overall a very good course.

I learnt a lot. It was great because it wasn't always the same. There were questions, programs to make, programs to fix and lots of choices. This meant that, by the end, we could use everything to make something really run. Everyone was really nice and the whole thing was really friendly.
