I just want to say it was an amazing week with lots of smiles and fun. But the best thing this week was the course, the funny tutors (especially Daniel) and my beloved friends. I just want to say... KEEP IT UP FUNTECH.

Recently in school we started learning complex languages such as python which made me sink in fear, until I came to FunTech. They have taught me so much in just a week, I am blown away. And while we have been coding we have also been; going outside, playing sports and making friends. This was a really fun experience and I will do it again. :)

Funtech is good

Funtech is the best camp I've currently been to. I love it, it's fun and so are the tutors. The days haven't been bad I hope to go there again.

I had fun!

this week I was not bored for a single moment. Each day I was excited to play all the games and it was well worth my while.

Python coder camp

Camp was very fun and interesting; teachers taught well and were very nice.

Very Fun

It was a very good camp. I learnt how to model objects and code in unreal engine. I made a very fun game which all my classmates liked.

This is the most fun I have ever had at a summer camp. I'm not particularly that into coding but coming to this camp changed my mind. We learnt tonnes everyday but I never once felt tired or that I needed a break because they always perfectly balanced coding with fun and breaks (coding itself is ...

This is the most fun I have ever had at a summer camp. I'm not particularly that into coding but coming to this camp changed my mind. We learnt tonnes everyday but I never once felt tired or that I needed a break because they always perfectly balanced coding with fun and breaks (coding itself is pretty fun too). We have five breaks a day (including lunch) so I never felt tired. The activities where pretty fun, capture the flag, cross the channel and the incredibly boring and hated cones and craters (The other two are very fun though) as sports activities during the day and if you are residential (like me) there is movie night, game night and dodgeball etc. The other kids at the camp were good too and I made lots of new friends. The tutors are awesome though, they always make everything fun and funny. They would come in halfway through our class wearing pineapple sunglasses and flowers and ask who wants to do just dance? They always mingled and had fun with the kids at the camp and there was never a moment when anyone misbehaved and the tutors got angry at us (why can't normal school be like this???). The meals where also great btw and the rooms are clean with nice views. I'm going to mis this place a lot. Thank you to all the campers and JMA (boss man JAM of our camp who is also very fun and let us walk all the way to the barrier singing 'never gonna give you up'), Beatriz (The other boss who is equally as wild), Will, Fabien and Jess (My python tutors), Mia and Drande (The ones who looked after us residential kids also very fun), 'Evil' David and Luke (Who are extremely funny and walked with me all the way back to the residence at 0.2 miles an hour when I twisted my ankle ) and the rest of the FunTech staff here who I didn't name thank-you so much for an amazing time.

Touch Typing at the Barbican

I enjoyed your touch typing course and would rate it 8/10 just because it sometimes got a bit boring
My favorite teacher was Indigo as he is very cool
so far this is my 2nd favorite course i have been to after roblox game dev

My week at FunTeach camp (as a residential) was great!! Everyone was really kind and always helpful! The food was great although there were two or three meals that I personally didn't like but the rest was fantastic!! I made friends straight away and the day/night tutors were super kind.
Touch Typing was so much fun and the games we played (to help us touch type) were really helpful. The prize that they told us we would receive really motivated me to try harder.
Over all, this week was truly fantastic and I definitely will come next year!!!

Excellent stuff all-round - with engaging, exciting tutors - and appropriately designed interactive course content to complement. FunTech provided all of the required equipment for the course - with everything we needed to get started pre-setup before we arrived.

You can expect:
- A teaching style quite different from that in the classroom
- Productive learning environment
- Tutors who can connect well to you (many being at university)
- Opportunity to connect with others

If you feel a little put off by the vague course description - rest assured - there's plenty of content - "fundamentals" on a different level. When you're not learning, you'll be doing something else productive with your fellow students - plenty of students in my class decided to create their own (successful!) viruses. Brilliant evening activities and food at Tonbridge. There's something for everyone - you've just got to be engaged.

You'll also be able to meet quite a lot of new people - from all kinds of ages. Other than the course content, it's a chance to learn more about others - especially for residential students.

If you've got remotely any kind of attention span at all, this course will make you happy. I wouldn't be writing such a long review otherwise.

P.S. FunTech do accept childcare vouchers, if that makes a diffference.

This week has taught me an essential life skill in touch typing. The games, although being a little arbitrary, were still good learning agents and the fact that I will be walking out of this course with an amazon gift card, rewarding good typing, only heightens the experience. Overall, in my opinion, the fact that I have touch typed this review, shows the learning curve I have been on with this course, going from typing slowly to touch typing accurately and quickly.

Over the past few days, I feel that my skill in touch-typing has progressed, and I have gotten a lot better than before. I think the Funtech community had done a great job at keeping us entertained in many ways (playing games at lunch, being fun, letting us play loads of kahoots and let us choose music), some in exchange for tokens. They also let us venture onto Monkeytype to let us track our average WPM and lets us improve on our scores and compete against each other, I feel quite happy with my score now with 77-WPM and 100% accuracy! That may change :)! I particularly enjoyed the game bop it, where you have to type to bonk little critters on the head and make them go away.
In total, I think that the Funtech community has done a great job.

This week has been a great experience. I enjoyed the python course and I learnt so much about it. Python is not that straight forward but thankfully the tutors did an excellent job of making me understand everything. The setup of the course was done very well as we did a lot of learning but we had necessary breaks at the right time to make sure we were not looking at the screen too much. The lunch time activity was very enjoyable and was done very well. My favourite part of the week was when we had to do our projects. My favourite one was making my adventure story and it made me realise how complex it is to make an adventure story and how much time it takes. But thank you to all the tutors and people for making it an enjoyable experience. I'll be back next year!

I learnt so much, the people and teachers were great and we had a great time! We had so much fun hacking eachother, other classes, and even teachers! The residential part was also great and the activities were incredible. More scuba would have been good.
