I wish I could give this a 4.5 stars because 5 means perfect and this is not perfect because one of the practise challenges wasn't presented very well so ye.

Funtech Python OOP is great!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the course, and I learnt a lot, while also being engaged and having fun throughout. Along with our collective obsession with a newly-discovered ingredient, called verjuice, which we all laughed about along the way, I was introduced and familiarised with OOP programming

The course was really enjoyable- I've learnt loads, and had loads of fun at the same time. It's nice to learn coding in a supportive environment, where there is both help provided if needed, and a multitude of extensions. The resources that FunTech have provided are also great, and there is not much

10/10 would recommend. I had a very good time during this course and Harry in my opinion is definitely one of the teachers I have learnt the most from and one that I will not forget.

The course helped me to develop my understanding of the coding language and improve my knowledge at what I already know, while also teaching me brand new things like classes. Midway through the course he gave us a python cheat sheet; he was the best tutor and he very clearly outlined everything, especially the trickier concepts, which were explained well yet concisely. Learning with hm was very fun and very interactive, and if we ever needed help with anything he was happy to. The (self-proclaimed) best tutor taught us this camp and I am very glad he did.

The whole week was very fun and enjoyable and I learnt a lot of python programming. Python OOP Virtual Camp

My son really enjoyed the week-long virtual camp which was well organised and fun. Although it seemed quite a lot to be tied to the screen all day the time really flew by and there were plenty of breaks. This is our third (virtual) camp with Funtech and we will sign up for more going forwards.

A good experience

The Funtech Camp was really good. I got to improve my coding skills by doing fun challenges. I found the start of the course really useful to recap on what I had done and it was interesting to learn some different things about coding by using Tkinter. Overall, a very useful 2 weeks.

He seemed to be occupied and interested for the whole 5 days .. we have previously done just pms so this week was intensive but it seemed to work well for him and I think he had leant new things that were previously gaps in his knowledge.

I think these funtech courses have been very professionally presented and run and I am very impressed with the level and standard of knowledge and teaching on offer.

This was a brilliant course for my 15 year old daughter. Just the right level, and with a wonderful teacher providing all the support that was needed. She thoroughly enjoyed it.

Luke (who is 14) really enjoyed this course. He spoke highly of the course teacher and said the course was well run and there was a small enough number of students that they got a good amount of individual attention. He particularly enjoyed the fact that the teacher didn’t dictate what to write,

He particularly enjoyed the fact that the teacher didn’t dictate what to write, but gave examples with explanations and then left the students to write their own code.

An enjoyable and worthwhile week

Our son really enjoyed the virtual camp for a week of coding. He learned loads and had fun too.

The tutor managed to balance the amount of learning without it feeling overwhelming being online all day.

Throughout the course I feel like my general python skills have improved and the whole experience has been really fun.
My favourite project was Hangman which I could only do through the skills I learnt on the course.
Creating graphics has been something I always wanted to do on python and now I know how.
My funtech tutor went above and beyond to make this an awesome experience, letting us use code to make a Geometry Dash game in the final session.
Overall being on this course has been a worthwhile experience and I would like to come back for a course another time.

I wasn't sure what to expect on my first day of the Funtech Python OOP Course. I was very anxious that I would not make friends, and that my existing knowledge of Python would not satisfy this complicated, and professional course. I sat down at my desk with fear, and cautiously looked around at the students surrounding me. To some surprise, my first day at this course went rather well. I had kind, interesting interactions with the other students. I felt supported and safe in this environment, and began expanding the horizons of my Python knowledge.

However, as soon as I left the room where I began preparing for a successful future, I noticed something.. strange..

This must be a dream, I thought, life cannot be this perfect?

Oh but it can. And it is, at the FunTech courses!

Right, on a serious note, I enjoyed the course. Although, after I finished it I got millions of companies recruiting me in advance- which was quite weird.

People also started begging me to be their friends- they wouldn't stop bothering me!

Don't take this course if you don't want to be super popular, smart, gorgeous and successful.

I wasn't sure what to expect on the first day of the FunTech OOP course. I didn't know anyone there and I had not studied coding to too much of high level. What I experienced next was a divine revelation. It was one of the greatest five days of my life. I cannot thank the FunTech staff enough for the out-of-this world lengths they have gone to to ensure my full enjoyment of the course and for me to become whole as a Python programmer. The dedication filled me to the brim with drive and power and hunger and a level of happiness and coding prowess that even Tim Cook couldn't supply me with. I would like to sincerely thank FunTech and the vast amount of new friends that I have made in this course for the support they have given me. They made me a better coder, a better person. The tutors were very helpful when I didn't understand anything or my code wasn't working as intended and I couldn't figure out why.

General Python OOP - Matas

I had a great 5 days here in FunTech, and learnt lot's of new ways to code in Python. I am happy to know these things, and I will be definitely using them outside of FunTech in my own projects at home. Definitely recommend, and you will most likely learn a lot!

Very fun I enjoyed it a lot.
Obviously this is different from the first level which made it a lot more worthwhile since I have gotten better and I think this is an efficient way to learn as a group as we can learn from other people's problems.
Also the tutors are nice and the class sizes are just about right which enables a good learning experience for everyone. Since there are so many courses most people are on about the same level.
The units are set in a good order where the things we have covered before can be used in the current unit, which is helpful as we can look back to see our previous codes to refresh our memory.
One thing that can be an improvement though is that sometimes the course goes a bit fast for some of our likings (not for me).
So overall a very good course.

I learnt a lot. It was great because it wasn't always the same. There were questions, programs to make, programs to fix and lots of choices. This meant that, by the end, we could use everything to make something really run. Everyone was really nice and the whole thing was really friendly.

I attended the Python OOP L2 Camp online, in the five-consecutive-day format. During this online camp, I learned a lot about Python. The content was evenly spread out throughout the past five days. The topics were interesting: as we studied deep subjects like data structures or GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces). The instructor took the time to help each student, and he was very supportive of each of us. The projects were enjoyable, as they were designed to have us take a game back at the end of the day. One negative point though, would be that the program is at times very dense, which means that following it isn't very easy, and the projects are quite hard, especially on the last day.

I've learnt so much over the past week which I'm sure will help me with my computer science GCSE and beyond! The tutors were really enthusiastic and helpful, not only during lessons but also at break and lunchtimes where we played fun group games. thank you! :D

Max was always helpful when I needed help and always explained everything clearly and helped me learn lots of new things. All of the teachers were all accommodating and made me laugh lots of times. All the teachers made it very fun to learn and were great.

Python OOP was very fun, are teacher Max was very nice and humorous and helpful. I highly enjoyed the week, the other teacher Hamza and the Leader Midé, were also very funny and I enjoyed playing card games with them like cheat throughout the week.
