Python gamecoder review

Teacher was great, very good at helping with issues and balanced between all people in the class. Everything was taken at a good pace and if you ever felt like it was too slow there was available extensions which we could get done.

Learnt a lot and it was overall a great experience.

I think learning the code was interesting and the way the videos and such were formatted made it a lot easier to understand what we were doing and the teacher was very helpful for explaining what I had done wrong and how to fix it. my main problem was the length of the lessons because although we had 3 15 minute breaks a lesson it just felt like the lesson dragged on and many time I was yearning for the end of the lesson but other than that it was quite interesting to see how programming works and very satisfying when it did.

A very fun and entertaining activity!

The teacher was really nice and our course (Minecraft coding) was very interesting. We got to make games wit code and it taught us skills that we could apply to other coding games too. The other people were really nice and it was taught at a great pace so you can keep up.

An Amazing Lesson

i really enjoyed these lessons i learnt much more than i did at my school. The teacher helped us and explained to us everything in a way we would understand. i really liked my teacher he was nice, funny and helpful. I learnt a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Throughout the course I feel like my general python skills have improved and the whole experience has been really fun. My favourite project was Hangman which I could only do through the skills I learnt on the course. Creating graphics has been something I always wanted to do on python and now...

Throughout the course I feel like my general python skills have improved and the whole experience has been really fun.
My favourite project was Hangman which I could only do through the skills I learnt on the course.
Creating graphics has been something I always wanted to do on python and now I know how.
My funtech tutor went above and beyond to make this an awesome experience, letting us use code to make a Geometry Dash game in the final session.
Overall being on this course has been a worthwhile experience and I would like to come back for a course another time.

I found this course enjoyable and fun. I was able to learn so many things that I can do in python. I was even able to make my own game at the end of the course. I recommend this course to any beginner that wants to start using python.

For us there was no option to do a residential or day camps as we live abroad now so the virtual course gave him the opportunity to do something ...

My son loved this camp! It was the first time he was doing a virtual camp and he had a lot of fun and interactions with the teacher and the other kids. For us there was no option to do a residential or day camps as we live abroad now so the virtual course gave him the opportunity to do something that he loves in his mother tongue.

He enjoyed so much that he is currently doing another one!

I cannot speak highly enough about FunTech. What an absolutely awesome company that helps children and teens with coding and tech. They have a range of courses (although you have to book early) that I wish I had when I was younger. But my ten year old daughter joined for a two week's session ...

I cannot speak highly enough about FunTech. What an absolutely awesome company that helps children and teens with coding and tech.

They have a range of courses (although you have to book early) that I wish I had when I was younger. But my ten year old daughter joined for a two week's session on 3D Game Designing using Unreal Engine over the summer and she loved it.

She has been learning python coding since she was six so it was nice for her to do something different. And even though she had a wobble in the middle of the course, the company was absolutely fantastic and supported her with some one to one private lessons to get her to the end.

My daughter wrote: "To Connor. Thank you for giving me 1 to 1s to help me understand Unreal Engine. I really appreciate it. I am really happy with the end result of my game and I am hoping to add many more levels and upgrade my current ones to make my game way more interesting."

@Sheineez Barber I applaud you for setting up such an awesome company and excellent customer service.

As a result, I have shared with many friends and I will book Georgie onto her next course soon and every year from here on. 10 out of 10...

I couldn't recommend this company highly enough.

Fun and educational with great tutor support

Felix had a brilliant time on the Minecraft Mod course. He'd never done anything like this before and we were a bit worried that it would be too much for him or not engaging enough to keep him seated but he was up at the crack of dawn every morning raring to go. The course was well structured...

Felix had a brilliant time on the Minecraft Mod course. He'd never done anything like this before and we were a bit worried that it would be too much for him or not engaging enough to keep him seated but he was up at the crack of dawn every morning raring to go.

The course was well structured, age appropriate, and when things got a bit confusing his tutor was quick to reassure and help. When he accidentally deleted everything he'd created his tutor went above and beyond to recover his work for him which was much appreciated.

Felix learnt a lot, gained new confidence in creating his own characters, blocks and objects in Minecraft and has been using all his screen time since making more.

Many thanks for a great couple of weeks.

Funtech Course Review.

I have learnt many new things about Unreal Engine. I learned how to make moving floors and today we are making our own obstacle courses. I think I will do one of these courses again as I really enjoy this.

Very good.

It was very fun. I learnt a lot about the unreal engine. How everything works and I understood blueprints way better. As the days went on it got more interesting, because I knew more about the engine.

The course has been amazing and the teacher/tutor explained everything very clearly funtech over my experiance of my time as been exhilarating and i have enjoyed every bit of it. It was easy making freinds.
Despite the tutoring bieng online making freinds was suprisingly easy.
In my opinion the course is most certainly worth it and highly recommended.
The teacher Kevin was amasing he was so energetic and helpful towards our needs and the help of the understanding of the code.
If you ever get the chance to be with these amazing people I would 100% do the course.
I want to thank FunTech for everything and if I were to rate the course I would definitely rate it out of 10 a 1,000 out of.
This course has definitley inspired me to carry on coding.
This was a life changing experience for me and I can now understand code to be able to code mostly anything.

Very fun I enjoyed it a lot.
Obviously this is different from the first level which made it a lot more worthwhile since I have gotten better and I think this is an efficient way to learn as a group as we can learn from other people's problems.
Also the tutors are nice and the class sizes are just about right which enables a good learning experience for everyone. Since there are so many courses most people are on about the same level.
The units are set in a good order where the things we have covered before can be used in the current unit, which is helpful as we can look back to see our previous codes to refresh our memory.
One thing that can be an improvement though is that sometimes the course goes a bit fast for some of our likings (not for me).
So overall a very good course.

I learnt a lot. It was great because it wasn't always the same. There were questions, programs to make, programs to fix and lots of choices. This meant that, by the end, we could use everything to make something really run. Everyone was really nice and the whole thing was really friendly.
