these sessions have taught me a solid amount of oop without being overly complicated when i was behind tutor caught me up when I was in front I had numerous extension tasks to do a great beginner course that teaches the basics and more

I loved learning about python cant wait for next week and also i love python so i do lots of courses so my 0 lack of practise has helped i learnt lots and recommend highly for 11 - 15 year olds

Great fun & good learning

My son took a one week virtual camp on Python. He absolutely loved it and learned lots.
At then end of each day, he could not wait to tell me all about it, every detail!
It was a small group and the tutor was also very engaging. Great experience which I recommend.

This camp has inspired me to first of all develop a love of coding and a acknowledgement of the true difficulty of coding. I have been doing a Unity Course and it has been very fun, the tutor funny, engaging and inclusive. The curriculum in the course itself has been very good, as even Unity, which can be very hard for people without any prior knowledge of coding (like me), has been put in such a way that all can understand. I made games, learnt many things about not just Unity but coding in general as well.
Truly, this course has inspired a deep-seated love for coding in me that was not there before, due to the combination of an excellent tutor, excellent course and excellent camp altogether. I am definitely thinking about doing this course again next time, having only done Part 1 of this course, as I wish to learn more coding.
Unity has taught me many of the main aspects of coding, like components, sprites, how to deal with sprites, actually writing code and understanding code, troubleshooting and many other essential parts of coding. This is why I would wholeheartedly suggest this course to parents and children thinking about going through with this course. Even though this camp being virtual may put off some people due to the removal of face-to-face interactions, I'd say this is actually better than an in-person camp due to the freedom of environment and clothing and all other things that may be restricted in face-to-face. This, for me at least, improved my experience massively, and with the extra effort of my tutor, removed any semblance of distance and isolation to the point that I felt I was there.
Overall, I would definitely suggest this course to friends and family from the years of 11 - 16 to this course as it is engaging, fun, informative, inspirational and is something good to do during the summer holidays.

My Funtech Review

In this week, my love for python has exponentially grown as this has flown by. I have learnt a lot, specially OOP and also despite being online, it has been amazing. The teacher is amicable and makes learning fun and easy. This has been a brilliant course and I have learnt a lot of python.

It was amazing and i have now made the best game on Roblox (in my opinion)

The Unity Online course was very fun and interesting: in my 5 days at Funtech, I've made many new friends and had a lot of fun interacting with my tutor while also learning about Unity and how it works. Would 100% recommend to someone who has an open timetable!

Fun Camp

It is a fun camp and I had a blast learning about the different mechanics of how Unity works. I had fun learning about coding with C# and using spritesheets, audio, UI and more! The tutor was also willing to help out no matter what we were stuck on, and was very fun to just be around!

At first when I got here I new nothing about roblox studio and creating roblox games, but it was so fun learning and creating projects and even publishing them at the end!

The camp was good and I liked the final project of the course. I liked how they showed the demonstration and the tutor was also very nice to us and I liked that so I gave it five stars!!!

Roblox Designer - Part 1 - So much fun!

Overall it was really, really fun so clear (clearer than clean glass!!) to understand I learned lots of new things about Roblox Studio and about learning to design a game . the teacher was amazing - the time went so quickly!

My son enjoyed the course very much, the tutor was excellent and the small class of 6 was a suitable number. He enjoyed the content and has certainly learned a lot about coding. He's keen to do more!

Thank you FunTech, Will had a great time. The course was engaging and gave my son the opportunity to learn a new coding programme to a depth he wouldn’t have got at school. Lovely tutor too.

i found it very fun because we made obbys i liked it because at the beginning i was shy and didn't know anyone but now it feel like i made knew friends i found the making things like houses and obbies fun but i didn't really understand how to get a file into the game but then Nathan told me. The most fun thing was making the obbies even though my obby got deleted it was very fun building terrain. i liked learning how to add, delete and i cant believe that i learnt so much in only 22 hours (i did the maths).

The camp was very helpful in terms of aiding you through learning python, the tutor thoroughly helped me when I got stuck at some parts of the course. While we may have gone through the course too quickly, I still managed to get enough coverage on the units.

It was really fun.

I learned more stuff and could even create my own game wich i am still working on, later i might even to make my own game if i can thanks to this, its was very cool and nice!

The tutor on the course was amazing and helped us all if there were any issues and would also point out bad habits in my code that would make my life harder later on.
I went from just knowing a basic understanding of python to being able to make a text based game and being able to utilise some complex code.

FunTech Python crash course

The course was really fun and I learned lots of new things. My favorite part was the personal challenge at the end of the week. The only part I didn't like was the fact that it started at 9:00.

Phenomenal

I've never been in a camp that is so fun that time feels non-existent. It was definitely worth the 10 days. I have been in a camp previously and I can say that now 2 out of 2 camps, funtech is a brilliant way to get taught how to code or use technology.
