Very useful and enjoyable course

My son has never undertaken a holiday course like this before and absolutely loved it. The small group meant he had just the right balance of contact and interaction with others but allowed him to get on and work independently too.
He was excited to get stuck in and took great pride in showing us the start of his own 3D game at the end of the week.
The FunTech team were brilliant with any questions and concerns we had, and kept him engaged all week.
I can highly recommend the course to anyone. At 13 he is hard to please, but you guys managed it! Thanks

Tibi enjoyed the 3D Game Design virtual camp a lot. He is always excited to learn new things in computer and he hasn't been disappointed. As a FunTech fan, he will be coming back soon. Many thanks to the tutor and FunTech team.

Our son loved the course and soaked up the content like a sponge, though I think he would like to learn more in order to be able to put all of the ideas he has into practice! My 11 year old son did this course and absolutely loved it! Very well run, stimulating and informative, a great way to spend 2 weeks of holiday time. Thoroughly recommend it!

My son really enjoyed being able to do the course from home although as a parent I would have liked him to have got to know the other students on the course, I would imagine they are like-minded people with similar interests.

My son says that he enjoyed experimenting with the props the best and enjoyed the whole experience of the doing the course online. He especially liked the fact that he could work in the mornings and have the afternoon off.

The course was expensive but I didn't mind, especially as I could use childcare vouchers. It felt like money well spent.

It would have been great if this course was the start of some kind of qualification in 3D gaming design as I can see my son doing the next level of this course next Summer or on the next holiday. It would be great if he could eventually gain a qualification from doing a series of courses over a number of holidays or years (similar to ballet where the RAD grades are equivalent to GCSE grades which go higher the more grades you do (grade 1 being equivalent to a D or E at GCSE) - young people can then use these qualifications on their CV when applying for their first jobs).

My 13 year old son had a great time on the course, he liked the tutors and said they were very helpful and fun to learn from. The content of the course was good and my son came away with a racing game he developed and which he continues to play with and amend.

Learning to write python

Our son found the virtual camp excellent. He was amazed by the tutor and the content of the learning. A good head start for his future in a fun way!

My 14 year old son has done three courses over the summer. He also did Python Coding and Python Game Developer. He said this one (3D Game Design) was the most fun. My 14 year old son has done three courses over the summer. He also did Python Coding and Python Game Developer. He said this one (3D Game Design) was the most fun. All of them have kept him fully occupied and he has enjoyed them and learnt from them. We encountered a problem with this one (our fault, not Funtech's) in that my son's laptop was not good enough to download the software and so we swapped him to our main computer. The support and contact from the Funtech team was very helpful, prompt and efficient.

Really fun course undertaken virtually.

Wonderful experience

Our 11 year old son had a wonderful time at his 3D Game Design virtual camp this summer. The first day was a bit challenging but thanks to the fantastic support he received from his tutor and the staff he ended up having an amazing time. Thank you so much!

Loved it

Mihai loved the makers approach and atmosphere and it was the only thing he was really proud of this summer. We want to do the next one. Which one is it?

Fabulous!

A fab experience beginning to end. Every little attention to detaIl & the few issues that we had were solved quickly and painlessly. My son loved the 3D gaming course and would definitely do another funtech course.

Great experience

My son was a very reluctant participant at first, very nervous about being in a virtual classroom. However he thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learnt so much. He has even asked if there is an advanced level course he can attend to continue his learning.

3D Game Design

He really enjoyed the course, and thought the teacher was 'brilliant'. He has enough knowledge now to carry on learning on his own, but is looking forward to being able to take another course in the future if there's one that builds on this one.

Samuel very much enjoyed his week on this course. A clearer path for keeping and being able to improve on his game at the end of the week would have been a big plus. I was impressed with how they were able to make friends even though they weren't there in person. I thought the tutor managed well

We were incredibly impressed with the course and its content, but absolutely blown away by the amazing support our daughter received. She is somewhat of a perfectionist, prone to bouts of anxiety and the occasional ASD meltdown. After a lesson in which she panicked, the Funtech team called us to offer a recap of the lesson and some extra support - this was all it took to reassure her. She has looked forward to each lesson, has learned tons and has finished the course brimming with ideas that she now knows how to put into action. We will definitely be booking with Funtech in the future! Thank you to all the team!

It's good knowledge advanced technology camps which our boy was so much fun and enjoyed time.
He does every summer which tried other camps but he enjoyed the most doing it in Tech camp.

After a bit if reluctance to go, from day one my son was hooked and really enjoyed the course. Great location.

Very enjoyable week!

My son had lot of fun at this camp and learned how to use FPS Creator and make 'awesome' games using it!!
His tutor Kwaku was helpful and kind and the venue was in a nice setting....thanks so much FUNTECH !

Georgia really enjoyed her work building a game. She loved the interaction with her tutor and other kids. She would definitely return for another course probably animation or 3D modelling.

This is the first time for my kids to participate in the Tech Summer Camp Program, they were in the 3D game design, they enjoyed it and they learned great ideas they had fun and I think they would go again.
