End of week review

I enjoyed the week on the Java Coder course. The courses were great and we even got a USB to take our work home. There was even a barbecue and an indoor picnic! I'd really like to come again.

Java Coder Course

I had a great time at the Java Coder course and really enjoyed it. Our teachers were great fun and we learnt so much more than I had expected to and it was really enjoyable. Every one on the course had an amazing time and I will definitely return to do another one of FunTech's courses

End Of Week Review

The course was great! I enjoyed every moment of it, with many opportunities to learn and have fun. The videos and staff were very helpful in aiding my learning in Java Coder I got the kind of experience I believe I could not have got anywhere else.

Nice introduction

Its a nice introduction to Java code. I liked it lots as it explained lots of functions and hardy anyone was left behind and no one was bored waiting as there were always more fun challenges. There was always someone to help us when we were stuck.

Java Coder

This course, even though it is for beginners, is jam-packed with fun and is extremely helpful with learning the basics of coding. The course overall was the best that I have been to. The staff are very helpful and will nurture your abilities. I loved every second of the camp.

This course is amazing, I understand so much now. Java coding really helps if you want to learn to code. When I went to this course it blew my mind. I am only ten years old and I understand a lot.
Sure, the start is a bit boring but that is about five minutes long.

Markus is really awesome!!

I really liked my week on Java Coder! I have never done coding before, so this was a really nice experience, my tutor Markus was really awesome and I would love to come again next year!

The teachers are good and know what they are doing (most of the time). Are always out for a laugh. Next time I'm probably going to select a harder course.

Java coder is fun

Java coder was a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be as my friends said that it can be boring but Funtech mixed Java with lot's of fun activities and all the coding came out with something. Overall I really recommend Funtech :)

THIS COURSE WAS AMAZING!

I had an AMAZING time, this course dug out the basics of Java and gave it out to me and the rest of the class in an OUTSTANDING way. Also when I got stuck they helped me out in a BRILLIANT WAY.

Putting the fun in Funtech! One of the teachers was absolutely fantastic and it was very relaxed and not being stuck in a stuffy (...) classroom. 10/10 would recommend again.

I had a great time during my course in Funtech, doing Java Coder. It was really challenging and I became very proud of my end result of my products made in Java Coder. The tutors/teachers in FunTech are very friendly as I was taught by: Mazen and Mike. They were both very helpful, humorous and kind.

It is entertaining, you will learn a lot from the experienced instructors, and best of all, you will have constant breaks so your eyes wont get tired from watching a screen from a period of time. Maybe what could make this camp more enjoyable would be having a period of time in which kids can choose to either play games or listen to music and chat. This could be at the end of the day or at lunch.

It is such a good camp you should definitely come. The counselours are super friendly and they teach very well. Java coding can be hard but when you succesfully finish a proyect you feel very, very good.

I came to this course only knowing how to programme Scratch (a very simple drag and drop programming language which is practically a programme. When I learn a new thing we explain it on a drag and drop shape programme and do it on pseudocode (this is when you write down your version of a program which you will understand and refer to when you write real code. Overall this is a course certainly worth going through.

Java Coder was really fun and the teacher was very supportive and would come if you got stuck. It also taught a lot about programming in general, not just Java but we still learnt loads about Java as well.

I had really good fun and David was awesome. It was really funny! It was really well planned and we got to go bowling and play laser tag! I would love to come again and do some complicated stuff!

It was an amazing experience, and the teaching style and activities given good and it improved and developed my java knowledge incredibly, but the card content was difficult to understand although my teacher Joe was very good at explaining the coding.

I think that this camp was a great experience and I got to learn a lot more about Java Coding. Most of the work was quite challenging which was great and Joe taught it very well.

Amazing course. I totally recommend this course for anyone of 10 or above with a love for coding. The tutor, Joe, was extremely knowledgeable and responded well to every challenge faced. It was an amazing week!!!

The most interesting Summer camp I've been to so far

So far it has been an extremely enjoyable experience learning how to code using the language of Java (a programming language). from printing simple sentences in a straight line all the way to using 'While If Statements' to work out the values of 10 unique cards. So far it has been an extremely enjoyable experience learning how to code using the language of Java (a programming language). from printing simple sentences in a straight line all the way to using 'While If Statements' to work out the values of 10 unique cards. Markus (my dedicated tutor) has helped me to achieve a lot what I have done so far. I will be attending the Minecraft Redstone course in a few weeks and I hope I will enjoy that one as much as I have enjoyed this one!
