She says it was interesting to learn how to program but great fun at the same time, developing her own game. The tutor was very clear and dealt with all questions easily and put the children at ease. She wants to see if there is another course that she can do!

Really fun course undertaken virtually.

Wonderful experience

Our 11 year old son had a wonderful time at his 3D Game Design virtual camp this summer. The first day was a bit challenging but thanks to the fantastic support he received from his tutor and the staff he ended up having an amazing time. Thank you so much!

Loved it

Mihai loved the makers approach and atmosphere and it was the only thing he was really proud of this summer. We want to do the next one. Which one is it?

Fabulous!

A fab experience beginning to end. Every little attention to detaIl & the few issues that we had were solved quickly and painlessly. My son loved the 3D gaming course and would definitely do another funtech course.

Great experience

My son was a very reluctant participant at first, very nervous about being in a virtual classroom. However he thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learnt so much. He has even asked if there is an advanced level course he can attend to continue his learning.

3D Game Design

He really enjoyed the course, and thought the teacher was 'brilliant'. He has enough knowledge now to carry on learning on his own, but is looking forward to being able to take another course in the future if there's one that builds on this one.

Samuel very much enjoyed his week on this course. A clearer path for keeping and being able to improve on his game at the end of the week would have been a big plus. I was impressed with how they were able to make friends even though they weren't there in person. I thought the tutor managed well with what was clearly a difficult task to do remotely.

We were incredibly impressed with the course and its content, but absolutely blown away by the amazing support our daughter received. She is somewhat of a perfectionist, prone to bouts of anxiety and the occasional ASD meltdown. After a lesson in which she panicked, the Funtech team called us to offer a recap of the lesson and some extra support - this was all it took to reassure her. She has looked forward to each lesson, has learned tons and has finished the course brimming with ideas that she now knows how to put into action. We will definitely be booking with Funtech in the future! Thank you to all the team!

Great course which Archie enjoyed AND learnt some skills from. The course leader, Sam, was excellent and had the patience of a saint.

Luca enjoyed some parts of this course but struggled with the virtual side. With his dyslexia he struggles remembering the instructions so we ended up taking a photo because the instructions moved on. Luca enjoyed some parts of this course but struggled with the virtual side. With his dyslexia he struggles remembering the instructions so we ended up taking a photo because the instructions moved on. He also found the constant chattering of some students very off putting, making it hard to concentrate and hear. The instructor was very helpful and Luca gained confidence to use the messaging chat to ask for help over the first few days. Its a hard course but very interesting and Luca said he would have preferred a classroom - at least he tried!
