FUNTECH Review

Even though I had used LEGO mindstorms before I still enjoyed this camp as I learnt a lot of new things, such as using variables and how to message between bricks.

FUNT3CH :)

The maze challenge was fun because it made us use sensors more than hand controllers.

My favourite bit was the cup grabbing with the robots. Alex showed us how tires were grippier!

After just doing python coding, I couldn't believe how easy it was thanks to the amazing tutor who helped my expand the world of coding. The code seemed even easier with the way explained by my tutor, as well as he made the most interesting challenges which kept us all amazed at the level of coding we could achieve. Not to mention the activities brought to us always kept us on our toes. Would recommend to anyone and to all ages.

AWESOME WEEK!!!!

I really enjoyed my time doing a touch typing course. The instructors were really friendly and helpful and the course was really fun and i now know how to touch type . I would recommend funtech to anyone!!!! For it was the best week ever!!!!

Being in Funtech is really fun because these games are really cool, playing minecraft is fun and the mods make it even more fun.

Really really good

I recommend this course because it has told me so much about python and everything is explained in a coherent manner, the whole day is planned out before you even arrive and the tutors make sure what you are doing is fun and enjoyable and that you are learning from it.

Amazing.

I started this course thinking that it would be a boring, stupid waste of my holiday. But it turns out that it was not a waste of my time. I now know to code in Python. I never thought this place could teach me how to do that. FunTech taught me things my school could not.

Oh! The Joy and Wonder!

I absolutely loved Funtech Maidenhead and it opened my eyes to the wonder of coding. I have figured out something I love here and after the first day, everyone feels like a family.

Minecraft mods was really fun to do, I made friends with a boy called Eddie. My favourite mod was the dimensions mod and the Biome mod.

There are many things which make Funtech the best camp I've ever been to. To be fair it's in the name! You can have so much FUN!!! Many people out there might think how on Earth is coding fun! Well I had the same thought. How could studying be fun? Well, for me it was the teachers and teachings. Normally, in a camp all the instructors are stubborn and strict . However, in FunTech It's the complete opposite! All the teachers were absolutely amazing, they thought in such ease helping everybody understand many peculiar subjects such as looping, if statements and variables. You might not understand these terms now, however if you join FunTech all these terms will be thought to you in less than a week. The structure of the day is very well balanced. You get a break from the screens and enough time to learn about coding.Overall, FunTech is the only camp which has impressed me in many ways. All this knowledge about coding is surely going to help me in my life and my future job. THANKS FUNTECH!!!!

The FunTech course was extremely amazing! It was very-well organised and planned, enabling me to feel the real energy of this amazing course. The tutors were really nice and if we were even slightly confused, the tutors would explain it again even when everyone else understood the task. Everything was very-well explained and I understood everything. I also loved playing football in the park and I made some really good friends. Sometimes, you might not feel very comfortable saying that you don't understand something when everyone else around understands what you have to do, but not at FunTech. THANK YOU FUNTECH!!!
