even though we are stuck at home and can't meet in person FunTech have done a great job at keeping up normal standers

Luca enjoyed some parts of this course but struggled with the virtual side. With his dyslexia he struggles remembering the instructions so we ended up taking a photo because the instructions moved on. He also found the constant chattering of some students very off putting, making it hard to concentrate and hear. The instructor was very helpful and Luca gained confidence to use the messaging chat to ask for help over the first few days. Its a hard course but very interesting and Luca said he would have preferred a classroom - at least he tried!

Cool Program

I didn't learn as much as I thought I would I only really learnt stuff in the final few days the first 5-6 days were just making shapes. I have to say I think the ageing was unfair as the people in my group were the same year group as my brother but he wasn't allowed to go but they were.

I really liked this course, its very creative and u design whatever you want. I think this course gave u an incite of 3D game Design and taught you the basics . Overall i recomend this course and really enjoyed it

This was one of the best courses I have been to and our tutor was patient and kept on explaining us stuff we didn't understand over and over again until we understood completely and taught us a lot of stuff I never knew before. Our tutor was one of the best ones as he was calm and fun and he helped us with literally everything and whenever we had a problem and he didn't know the answer asked other staff so he could teach it to us the next day.

Great fun!

I loved creating AIs and building the maps and levels for my game! It's fun! The health pickups and damage pads were really cool to make.

I really enjoyed the 2 week course the tutors relly knew how to make the course fun whilst still learning a lot. overall the course was great and I would highly recommend.

I thought that the camp was very good and really helped me. I think the tutor (Nadia) was excelent and while learning the key skills it was also fairly fun.

Wow, this course was absolutely amazing and I loved it. It gave me something to look forward to in the morning and made me busier than I normally would be. The tutor was great. It is amazing for all experience levels, from little-to-know experience to experienced self-learners. I would really recommend it! I would give it a 6/5 if I could, but that's mathematically impossible (cos it needs to be an integer and a fraction )!
Really, if your thinking about it for you or your child, don't hesitate to do it because it's more than worth it!

The course goes over the basics of game design, but the resources are limited in terms of what types of games you can make. limited to basically platformers and puzzlers. the world of gaming is large, and I can see why it would be hard to cover even half of it. but it would be nice If we could also add enemies and combat features, just to widen the scope of the course a bit more.

final verdict, gives a good start into the world of 3D game design, but the resources they provide are limiting on what you can make

Fun but a bit dissapointed

It was really fun but we couldn't do all the stuff that I wanted to do in the course. I wanted to do enemies, bosses and AI but sadly we couldn't do that in the course. All in all I really enjoyed the course, and I recommend it, but you can't make everything that is in a really good game.

It was a great place to spend half term. Although it was a long day, it was enjoyable. On the first day, it was a bit boring because it was the basics. However, as the week went on it was very fun but educational at the same time. The teachers her were very friendly and would help you well if you need help. Don't have high expectations though for you can't make a great game in 5 days! The game will only be like a simple parkour game or puzzle game. We also didn't have enough to make things like enemies, so the game will be very simple if you decide to bring your child here. You do get to bring back your game and work on it later at home if you have a USB stick which is good. Overall it is great, I will definitely want to come back.

Great fun but slightly disappointed

It was amazing fun and I would really recommend it to other people but I am a bit let down by the fact that we couldn't add AI to our games. Overall it was a lot of fun and it was a great experience.

It was really fun haying a go at making a game and seeing what was behind the every day game but I think it would have been better if we were able to firstly chose what we want to learn. that would make the star no. 5.

It. Was. Amazing

This is my 6th time coming to FunTech and it is never boring! You always learn something new and exciting! I recommend you come to not just 3D game design, but other courses as well!

Really interesting, fun and helpful.

The camp was really good, teaching me the fundamentals of game design and helping me create an amazing video game to show my family and friends. 5/5!!!!

VERY COOL and FUN

I learnt a lot during the camp and got to test the game many times. The lessons were well constructed and easy to understand and we got a lot of time to test our games. The breaks gave sufficient time to have fun and make new friends!

This week was a great way to teach children how to code a D game in a really fun way! I would definitely come back to this course. This was the greatest summer camp I've ever done and I'm not exaggerating-I would recommend it to others as it is Awesome!
