The course was good.

I recommend this course if you like to design and fairly simple code. I recommend the virtual machine if your laptop can't handle unreal engine.

Very fun and easy to follow

The course is reasonably casual and smooth the, help is excellent and very adaptive so that no one is left behind for long. Very well explained and the exercises are challenging but not really hard one change maybe to make the first day a little less packed but apart from that very good overall.

Very Good,

Funtech was very enjoyable to do all the time, the first day was a bit hard but I got over it and the rest of the camp was extremely fun to do. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in game design. 10/10, would come again.

I found this FunTech camp brilliant. On Monday, when we started we were unfamiliar with the software and its contents leading to quite a few errors. As the course progressed fewer errors occurred and we learnt more sophisticated material. There were a small number of bugs and issues with the software during the course but these were quickly resolved by the FunTech team. I found this course very productive having learnt so much in one week. I'd definitely recommend this to other people.

An amazing start to the summer holidays

I found that Unreal Engine was what I expected and about 100 times more. The tutors and staff were amazing when I had an error or issue, and did everything they could to right it. I found that Unreal Engine was what I expected and about 100 times more. The tutors and staff were amazing when I had an error or issue, and did everything they could to right it. I will definitely do Funtech again, perhaps when the face-to-face camp opens again, as it was a little trickier than it might have been. But i give it 5 stars, will recommend it to everyone it think will like it, and have many amazing recollections of the week.

I really enjoyed my week of camp and I learned a lot about Unreal Engine. I had lots of fun learning new things and using those things in our games. The camp was easy to follow and it was easy to get help and help came quickly! I had fun from day one to the last day. Even though we started out rough and will technical issues and errors, we quickly learned how to manage the program quickly and have fun too. I really enjoyed it and loved every minute.

Enjoyed the corse I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. The first few days were hard to concentrate as you really had to work for 3 hours and that is very hard. The corse was much better when we got to make our own game as you do not need to rush you ideas, you had two sessions to finish your final game. The technical support was very good the screen sharing was very useful if you had a problem they could fix it very quickly. I believe that the corse would have been a bit better in person but because of the current circumstances that could not happen. This was a good corse but there were parts that I believed things could have been done better. For example I think the corse is a bit too long and could have more breaks to make you get through the work quicker and remember what happens in the videos. The videos were well structured and were not too long these were helpful to give you a good idea of what you needed to do in each part of the corse. Over all I think the corse could be better but there is nothing FunTech could really do about it other than making more breaks.

Oscar 3D design

I think this course was AMAZING!!!!!!! Everything was great, even after a few technical issues at the start. All of the content was really fun, except making custom blueprints, but without those you wouldn't be able to do the course.

I found my work quite pleasing after this experience of funtech even though I have just started coding using unreal. But during the course I found I went through many problems in my code 3/5 of them were me trying to find something. In the end I made a game that worked properly and functioned as I wanted, after making my game I realised that I could have achieved quite a good game if I learned more. So overall my experience of funtech is about in the middle 3/5 and 4/5.

This is the best course. I learnt many skills while having tons of fun. We even made AI. All of the tech issues were solved quickly. I 100% recommend the 3D game design course.

It was a very slow start on the first day i waited for 2 hours before we started working. I thought that the tutor was very good and supported everyone in the session very well. Personally i thought he was very helpful and nice. My favourite part was creating my own game i think that the course could be improved if it gave more time for the students to make their games like instead of 2 and a bit days four days focused on their own game. Overall i think this course was very good.

Apologies for the delay on the first day, I believe that there was a delay of about an hour where there were technical issues with other students in your group who needed to get setup.
To avoid this going forward, we have asked families who have Virtual Machines to join the class an hour before their class starts.

I really liked the whole camp it was the best camp i have ever been to to be honest. This really changed my perception of what i want to do when i am older. I never thought i would love designing a game so much and i definitely didn't think it is more enjoyable than playing a game.

I really loved this camp. During the first 2 days, we had some serious problems with the virtual machine, but Mr.Alexander (we chose to call him that) never got frustrated once. We found out our WIFI was the problem, and we could never really get it fixed. But, instead of getting angry or frustrated, Alex really helped us, offering to do it on his computer with us telling him what to do instead of giving up. He always stopped to let us take notes when we were watching videos and was overall really helpful.
