it was fun but if it was half an hour shorter

Amazing!

this was my third programming course at fun tech and the way everything was explained made it so easy to understand, alowing us enough time to complete entire games at the end! i loved it!

My honest Review of funtech

Our teacher changed his method for us and went over it just incase even if some kids already knew he is a really kind teacher and i really like his methods 5 out of 5 stars best program i have EVER been in!

I learnt a lot in this course- I already new some stuff about python already but this has helped me develop my python knowledge. It was fun and well explained.

My son Victor really got a lot out of the camp and is now working away on a video game. It is extremely valuable to go on the course as the tools that the children like and skills will be of benefit in the future.

Python OOP Review

My daughter enjoyed this, and I think its a valuable course prior to starting GCSE's. However, she did find that some time was wasted on covering ground for some pupils not having a firm knowledge of Python.

But overall, a good course, and highly recommended.

My 12 year old son attended the cyber security Hackathon course this summer. He is not the easiests child to get to attend holiday camps and so we were a bit apprehensive as to how it would go. However, he really loved the course! He found it just about the right level of challenge but also great fun. My son really liked the course leader who really 'knew his stuff' but was also fun and engaging.
We had a few issues before the course started about course venue etc and these were all sorted out very efficiently by the Fun tech team. Overall our experience with Fun tech has been extremely positive and we would definitely look at booking courses in the future.

Our son, 10, has just completed the CreativeTech course with FunTech and he has absolutely loved it. He's enjoyed every aspect of the course especially the graphics element. As an aspiring YouTuber (what kid isn't these days!) he has revelled in the fact he can now create graphics for his channel...

Our son, 10, has just completed the CreativeTech course with FunTech and he has absolutely loved it. He's enjoyed every aspect of the course especially the graphics element. As an aspiring YouTuber (what kid isn't these days!) he has revelled in the fact he can now create graphics for his channel. His introduction to the Adobe platform has given him lots of confidence, so much so he has extended his knowledge by teaching himself the basics of Adobe Premier which wasn't part of the course. All the skills he has learnt have been applied together making his videos slightly less terrible :-)

On a slightly more practical application during the lockdown he was able to utilise his new skills doing his remote school work where he was wowing the teacher with his creations. The added benefit for us was that he was doing his school work enthusiastically as he didn't see it as 'boring'.

The course was fantastically run week on week building on what he has learnt, on the odd occasion where the concepts were not fully understood FunTech picked up on this from their comprehensive feedback system. The concepts were then recapped in an extra session ensuring there were no gaps from the course. Absolutely first-class.

We are looking forward to many more years with FunTech and are excited to see where it takes us.

Child’s interest and learning

Our child has great interest in Roblox and prefers it over other games. Now she has learned to design her own games. What the childen like, they learn faster. Good training.

Great summer activity and enjoyable camp

This was the second Minecraft camp that my son did with FunTech and he has enjoyed his learning process. It involves lessons, self-work, and implementing the learned materials in the game.

Minecraft Game Coder

Lyndon thoroughly enjoyed his virtual Minecraft course. He found the tutor engaging and the course was well organised and structured. Lyndon has now done 6 Funtech courses (4 physical and 2 virtual) and they have all been excellent. We would highly recommend Funtech.

My son said he enjoyed it but he has trouble concentrating for long periods and 9-5 was a very long day for him. the Amazon voucher was a nice touch.

We can't thank you enough for the aftecare in helping Charlie get to and from the course, particulary coming home from Wimbledon to Barnes in the evening - so appreciated.

He is definitely keen to continue with either term time or more holiday courses with FunTech.

Ollie had a great time making the game. The content stretched him and he learned new skills (classes). There was good support. When Ollie didn't understand something, he went back to the teacher and managed to fix it with their help. Another great course!

The environment of the class contains a video conference and the game environment but also a dedicated chat and teacher being able to see the students screen and point them in the right direction when they get stuck. It's as class to a live session as it could possibly be.

Well run, excellent instructors and great support provided

Lessons were well conducted, enthusiastic instructors. I was particularly impressed by the additional consolidation sessions provided if the child requires it as that meant no kid would be left behind in subsequent lessons if he/she didn’t understand a particular concept.
