My son was signed up to the Level 1, part 1 course but it quickly became apparent that he had covered quite a bit of the material already. The tutor recognised this and suggested he move up to Level 2. The FunTech team were then brilliant at organising the shift, sending new links and resources to my computer through screen share so that it was a seamless transition.

He really enjoyed the course and learnt loads. It was well-run, the tutors were great and it was a good balance of work and screen break. Would highly recommend!

So I did both arts of the Python coder (L1) course and the previous course prepared me for this course. Python Coder Part 2 is fun (but a little more challenging then Part one) and help is often only one question away. After this course, I walk away knowing some serious stuff about Python. True, I can't make Python create images, but I can sort entire lists and add and take away stuff from lists! All thanks to my old friends Funtech. Tutors are friendly, Python is fun, life can't be better (well it can buuuut I know you know what I mean). Also, instead of lazing around for your break, get stuck in! Do some coding! Play some Minecraft (or whatever games you have)! Have fun! Bye!

Fun Tech Camp Review

I think over all this camp was this camp was amazing all of the staff was nice, the food was delicious and you have lots and lots of fun.

I really enjoyed the week, and i can say that even after not doing part 1 for over multiple months, i was still able to complete my cores without to much stress.

A good, interactive course. Great for all skill levels

It is a good course that will be catered to your skill levels. You get a lot done over the period of a week and you will learn new skills every day. If you are stuck you get all the help and support you need.

Brilliant camp and I learnt a lot from it

The Python coder P2 course was extremely fun as I got to learn about lots of things , such as for loops, algorithms and lists. I would definitely do something like this again.

I've had a very fun week and have learned lots. If I didn't understand anything it was explained to me until I did. I felt okay to ask questions even if I was the only one. I think this course will have really help me in the future.

i found it very fun and useful even though i knew lots of stuff from school i learnt new stuff and got better at the things i already knew, if i every got stuck it was really easy for the teacher to show me were i went wrong. over all i thought it was amazing. thank you

I liked this camp because it helped me inspire for my GCSEs in Year 10. This has helped me a lot also because in Computer Science, I would get a huge head-start.

Funtech is definitely fun

When I first came to the level one python for beginners I didn't know a thing about Python, but now, a week later, thanks to Funtech, I know quite a few things. Not only did I learn stuff, but I learnt stuff in a fun way! Funtech has well earned the five stars I'm giving it!

The course leaders were young but unquestionably knowledgeable and had a lovely rapport with the students from day one. My son found the course pretty much perfect for his level of understanding: it was challenging but not overwhelming and he came away exhausted but thrilled with what he had achieved.

I recommend this camp to people who love coding or want to try something new! I found this camp fun and educational and this camp really benefited to my computer science subject at my school. I've learned more than a week than I did at a year of school. The whole camp is very organized and the teachers are very helpful. We watched videos and then coded bits of programming! At the end, we coded a final project and presented it to our parents.

This camp was AMAZING!!!! I learned sooo much and I thought that I learned more about Python in a week than 2 years at school. I had an amazing time with my sister and we always took breaks from the computer and went outside! The instructors were very informative and I had loads of fun coding! For fun zees, we had a little break of kahoot python and it was awesome! I really recommend this camp to teens as it is appropriate and fun! This will really benefit my CS classes in Year 9 as this camp made everything very informative. The reward of this camp is at the end of the week, we created a whole program for our final project and I made a great piece of code with loads of different techniques form the week.
