Very good

It is a really good place to learn coding at as you learn the exercises and you also get a example before you are set off to do it. You learn brand new things such as strings and also how to code. You also learn interesting things that not every one would know.

Very Good

I thought that the camp was very good and really helped me. I think the tutor (Nadia) was excelent and while learning the key skills it was also fairly fun.

This was a fun session but at the beginning and part of the next lesson just setting up on impero which was luckily changed

Firstly, I think that you learn a lot over the two weeks. This includes while loops and for loops as well as parsing and variables. by the end of the course, I was able to create and understand a hangman game. The coarse includes many things that are exciting and that you could use in pretty much any program. The only cons were that it was tedious downloading the software at the beginning and there were many technical difficulties over the first few days. Also, some times when others don't understand everybody has to wait for the teacher to explain to the kid about how it works. Overall it was an enjoyable camp and I am now, I feel like, 20 times better at python than I used to be

before I started this course, I knew a little bit about python. I could program a turtle and print into the console. now, I know everything. the first day was a little concerning, spending 3 hours downloading software but then it became amazing. we were split into groups. the first day, we were in a group of seventeen (FunTech comment | the class size was 12) which was a nightmare. at this time, I am in a group of 9 PEOPLE (which is much better then the original 17). the highlight of the week was making the hangman game. it was really good.

'Exciting course'

I liked the camp ,although I didn't like it at first, but near the end it was really good.

like to do it again

first couple of lessons other people had some technical problems. I really enjoyed it and learnt lots of new things I didn't know before. I really recommend the course if you are stuck indoors or just in general. whether you like Minecraft or are new to the game you will still enjoy this lots....

one time I accidentally ruined my entire world, without the tutors help and knowledge of using commands I would've never been able to fix it!

it was great and I learnt loads of stuff about Minecraft and redstone. I didn't really like Minecraft before I came to this course, but now I play with my brother every night, making cool redstone things and now I feel like I can do lots more things. the other people were annoying and loud, no offence but I wish they would just get put on mute because they just went on about loads of random things, really loud and never stopped. I finished the day with a headache a lot. thanks it was great :)

I really liked it

I really liked it, and I learned a lot, but we got through things quite slowly.

A pretty good week

The week was quite good but it was a bit boring at times. like at the start of the week lots of people had problems with there software and it was quite annoying to wait for them to fix it so we can carry on. but apart from that it was good

Scratch coder

It has been good but some times it is tough to cope with the noise and everone is shouting at the same time and asking question but i have really enjoyed learning about scratch and making games it is really fun!

Python coder

I think that the python coder is fun and I like the way the course works but the only thing I would have to say is that it took quite a while to get round toe everyone but that's the same with every course I guess

Very interesting experience

The coursework was fun and insightful, the tutor was very nice, and I felt confident to produce my own projects after I had learnt everything. However, sometimes the lessons were disruptive (but it was rare).

I liked this course and it was very fun but i would suggest adding a little more to learn because for the last three days we just made our own projects because we had previously finished all their was to learn. I feel that funtech handled the bizarre situation of having everyone do it at home very well, and most technical issues were sorted on the first day. I would recommend this course to 7 - 13 year old, or beginners and it is quite basic python.

my review

they course and teaching was great i went from printing statements to making games but it is not a 5 because at the start it was quite unorganised ans slow to get to the course (E.G: people not having right stuff downloaded because they weren't told how to on their operating system)

I wish i could go back.

This has been the funest time that i had in cuarenten .I had lost of fun and i wish i can go back. The 1st day was streing but i had lots of fun.

Virtual Python Coder Course

I loved this virtual course since it was very exciting and I learned a lot too. I learned about lists, variables and a few algorithms. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn the basics of Python.

Fun Tech Review

I enjoyed this week with FunTech. I learnt a lot of new things and used the basics of Python to create games and other interesting programs.
The tutor (Abul) was extremely nice and very helpful and helped make the course enjoyable.

Learning Python with Abul

Great corse I learnt loads. I really enjoyed learning to code with Abul. He was a great teacher and we had a great time talking to him while we learnt to code. We had learnt to make fun games that my family enjoyed playing. I liked trying to explain how the programs to my parents.

The course goes over the basics of game design, but the resources are limited in terms of what types of games you can make. limited to basically platformers and puzzlers. the world of gaming is large, and I can see why it would be hard to cover even half of it. but it would be nice If we could also add enemies and combat features, just to widen the scope of the course a bit more.

final verdict, gives a good start into the world of 3D game design, but the resources they provide are limiting on what you can make

Fun but a bit dissapointed

It was really fun but we couldn't do all the stuff that I wanted to do in the course. I wanted to do enemies, bosses and AI but sadly we couldn't do that in the course. All in all I really enjoyed the course, and I recommend it, but you can't make everything that is in a really good game.

It was an great 5 days and i felt at home with cool people around

Great fun but slightly disappointed

It was amazing fun and I would really recommend it to other people but I am a bit let down by the fact that we couldn't add AI to our games. Overall it was a lot of fun and it was a great experience.

It was really fun haying a go at making a game and seeing what was behind the every day game but I think it would have been better if we were able to firstly chose what we want to learn. that would make the star no. 5.

I would like to do it again and I liked the programming but I mostly liked making a little game on roblox we used roblox studio.

Good Camp

We worked on our memory to improve our touch typing and it really helps with a lot of practice. Also, it gets tiring being in front of screens all day so our tutor gives us additional breaks from time to time.

Touch typing

I found this touch typing week very enjoyable ,from the variety of games to the amazing skills you learn ,even if you get a little frustrated after awhile ,but it's extremely fun!

The first day i found to be quite hard and could not keep up. I found that it was very hard. The second day Tuesday we started learning skills that i could understand and i gained a natural rhythm of how to get in a computer, and i became able to to take the passwords off the computer. Wednesday i could decode coded passwords. This is written Thursday and today have learnt how to upload viruses.
Over time this camp became better and i had a lot of fun.

it was quite fun

it's quite fun but i already know about lego. i enjoyed when we doing the building because lego is one of my hobbies and what i don't like is the sports hall because sometimes people take the equipment.

It was amazing

I have been really creative this week and made my robot go forwards and backwards and a lot of other things too. We have done a lot of sensors and even a touch sensor that you press and the robot moves.
