good course

Great course good fun i learnt a lot about java coding and stuff the only thing is there wasn't food which isn't a big issue i just like food though.

Dom is a great teacher

i liked fun techs and feel it is a suitable environment for learning and developing coding skills and i would definitely recommend it to others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was an amazing week that I spent with FunTech. I started off by not knowing how to code but now i am confident at Java which is a course that will help me succeed at school. The way the course was taught was amusing and there were also breaks in which we were offered to choose a sport to do....

It was an amazing week that I spent with FunTech. I started off by not knowing how to code but now i am confident at Java which is a course that will help me succeed at school. The way the course was taught was amusing and there were also breaks in which we were offered to choose a sport to do. I met a lot of friends. It was truly an amazing experience!

Was a fun week at Westminster, I had done Python before so it wasn't as hard as I thought, but still gave a good start into a year of Java

I gave up on coding. I decided to try Java because not all codes are the same. I hadn't done Java on Codecademy so I thought it was worth a try. Honestly, my motivation had vanished and I came in to a room of silent people. My first impression was that it was going to be 8 hours of sitting and staring at computers. BUT. It was much better then that, especially with Toby saying all of his... unique phrases. Dom is definitely the second best teacher of all time! (The first spot can only be taken by a college teacher) I came here dreading code, and after almost 4 days I have the exact opposite attitude towards it (and I learned of a dinosaur game in google when offline so that's a bonus) I recommend this to everyone in the country who is looking to learn about Indonesia and Coffee.");

Funtech was a nice camp to go to and the instructors were were kind and helpful. Before I came here Java would make as much sense to me as mandarin but within the first day I already fully understood some of the basics of java. As the week progressed I learnt more and more and I was enjoying it as well. My only issue was when it rained and we had to stay inside at lunch and it was pretty boring so maybe some activities for times like these would be better. Other than that It was great, fun and I made new friends.

i wont lie when my mum told me i was doing a computing java course i wasn't exactly ecstatic but java has proved me wrong, yes its hard yes you actually have to use your brain but it is so relevant for so many things. its hard because its like learning another language but once you learn the basics you are basically all set. it is so interesting and really fun making games out of a few codes. i enjoyed this course and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about doing computing GCSE.

It was absolutely brilliant, I loved it

Funtech java course was very fun and our teacher (Jonty M) was very fun and supported us when we were struggling ( quite frequently). Our other teacher Aidan was very fun.

Funtech was very fun and Jonty Michael, who was my teacher was very helpful and his unique teaching style made the class more interesting. Jonty helped me understand the complicated coding which was making my mind hurt.

I would definatively recommend this course for everybody who likes friends and likes things to do with technology.
So many people would want to do this course and I think they should.

Many friends can be made and many friends can be kept in this course. The tutors are friendly and they are also friends.
Friends are really friendly in funtech and they can be made in the span of a short time.
The friends can be friendly or can be unfriendly but most them are friendly and the keep being friendly to you.

Listen - I was not a coding guy. Actually i really was not looking forward to going here. I arrived and sat there - i really knew nothing. Within the first few minutes i was off!!! Dom (aka dominic) was a very helpful tutor and really made me understand not just the basics BUT MORE THAN THE BASICS OF JAVAAAAAAAAAA. I recommend this to everyone in this world. Also to add - i kept very hydrated during the day therefore i would walk to the bathroom (which happened to be right outside the class - practical) a lot. A comment on the toilets are : i have never seen a more hygienic bathroom , don't even get me started on the soft, silky and gentle touching 100% cotton amazing Egyptian hand towels. The cooling aloe Vera soap that would just slide of my hands - the warm gust of breeze the hand dryer would give me to dry my cool aloe Veraed hands. I also must say the toilets are gender neutral so no confusion there! the toilet flush was beautiful - as if a strong beach tide has washed over the human waste. Please anyone and everyone go to funtech.

and was better than any other camp. i also liked the tutor we had and the advice he gave me on what computer i should get . the other tutors were really nice . i also liked the cold water . a shout out for Dominic . the toilets were nice and the adjustable chairs were practical . everybody should come you would have a techtastic time !!! thank you for this amazing opportunity fun tech .

I have had a brilliant week at funtech. The teachers are all really fun,supportive and good at their job. I would really recommend this course to anyone who enjoys maths and has had some programming experience.

Amazing Camp

i really enjoyed this camp and i hope i can do more. I liked that they explained everything and if we needed help then he would help us but also explain what he was doing to help us. I liked that at break that there is a choice of things to do so we are never bored!!! It was one of the best weeks...

I was struggling on my java lately... But thanks to this course I can now be better then ever! I can now do java like over people and our tutor is really good at teaching!

Although this was a great introduction to Java in a nice location I thought £575 for what is essentially a kids camp was really expensive.

It was oodles of fun

The combobulation of code has baffled the mind that in which perceived such wonder. The wisdom of five days can be powerful yet exhilirating

At the start of this coding week I did not know a single thing. Now I have learnt A LOT and have made efficient progress that will help me in the future. Although sometimes I think the slides can get boring. I also think that the 1st break and 3rd break should be increased to half an hour and the lunch should be an hour. I say this because a 15 min break does not give me time to relax. It was good and hard so it gives you a challenge. I probably would recommend it but not for girls because you will be the only one as the rest of them will be boys. there was only 1 girl all alone in java coder!
IT IS REALLY GOOD THOUGH!

This camp was great. I came in and saw the computers and the relatively small group and felt really welcome and ready. The tutor helps which makes the whole thing better than a Unity course. there is also a larger sense of accomplishment when you are doing things with others. My group was also just the right size to give me the help I needed. I came home everyday and I could feel my knowledge expanding. Looking back to Day 1, it's amazing how far I have come in just four days.
The only thing that I found irritating was that I live outside London, and the trains are full on the way and back - and 40 minutes becomes and feels longer, especially on the way home.
Otherwise, this camp is great fun and amazing!

Learnt Lots!

I did Java and I leaned loads! I love it and am definitely coming back for Java Coder V2. I am also coming back for other courses.
I would recommend this to my friends although it is slightly overpriced.
