Although this was a great introduction to Java in a nice location I thought £575 for what is essentially a kids camp was really expensive.

It was oodles of fun

The combobulation of code has baffled the mind that in which perceived such wonder. The wisdom of five days can be powerful yet exhilirating

This camp was great. I came in and saw the computers and the relatively small group and felt really welcome and ready. The tutor helps which makes the whole thing better than a Unity course. there is also a larger sense of accomplishment when you are doing things with others. My group was also just the right size to give me the help I needed. I came home everyday and I could feel my knowledge expanding. Looking back to Day 1, it's amazing how far I have come in just four days.
The only thing that I found irritating was that I live outside London, and the trains are full on the way and back - and 40 minutes becomes and feels longer, especially on the way home.
Otherwise, this camp is great fun and amazing!

Learnt Lots!

I did Java and I leaned loads! I love it and am definitely coming back for Java Coder V2. I am also coming back for other courses.
I would recommend this to my friends although it is slightly overpriced.

I went on the Java Coder course knowing only a little of Java. I now know a very useful amount of the language and it's all down to my tutor. As everyone goes at different rates, the tutors give you extensions that secure and extend your knowledge. The other tutor, Conor, was very good at extending our knowledge when we wanted.
Overall, it was a fabulous experience that will stay with us for most of our lives.

Well I extremely enjoyed it but some miner feedback was the first two days were a slightly tedious but the tutor was amazing BUT the lessons on the screen could improve a little but all round GREAT!!

It was fun and learned so much yet I didn"t find the workload too unbearable. The air con was not very good though.

- The tutors in funtech helped me a lot and bits of the code which i did not understand they would help
- They would also Joke with us whilst helping us at the same time
-As well as this they would test us and help us remember the code

At first I did not know what to expect. Since I spent a whole week at the camp I have enjoyed every day of camp since I have learnt more parts of the code language than I would probably have learnt in a few weeks into GCSE. At first I did not know what to expect. Since I spent a whole week at the camp I have enjoyed every day of camp since I have learnt more parts of the code language than I would probably have learnt in a few weeks into GCSE. I would extremely recommend this for students going into GCSE to do this course since you will get a head start in CS or Coding. I think the Tutors are interactive and are helpful at all points of the week. Everyone that goes usually has things in common with other coders so the students that go usually make friends their easily.
