Having originally signed up to a day camp we were pleased to be able to switch to a virtual camp for Roblox Game Making. My daughter (9) loved the course and found the presenter knowledgable, engaging and approachable. The course itself was detailed and included not only learning about game building but also the mechanics and physics behind how objects moved etc. A fantastic course all round and I would have no hesitation in recommending it! This is the second course out son Adam has taken and he once again had an amazing time! Each day he would proudly show off what he had built, and although I am no expert on Roblox, I couldn't tell the difference between what he had made and what he plays on day to day made by professionals on this platform. I was blown away with what he could now make in the engine. The nicest thing was that his goal now is to take what he has learnt and teach his friends.

Once again FunTech continue to set the bar extremely high with their quality of both course and delivery, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

After almost 6 months out of a formal classroom setting, this 2 week Roblox game design course was a perfect reintroduction to structured learning for my son. The half day timetable with frequent breaks worked perfectly, so he could use his morning energy to engage in learning something fun, with the afternoons to relax. I really hope Funtech will be able to continue to offer 1-2 week virtual camps with half days.
Many thanks to Ivan and the team for providing such a positive learning experience, which I think will really help my son transition back to school after lockdown.

Interesting material and inspired pupils

I was very impressed with what I saw of the course. A tremendous amount was covered in five days, and it was definitely interesting enough to keep the pupils engaged and enthusiastic for the whole period. The admin and technical support was also superb.

I found out that I can even make roux (a virtual currency) from this! It has inspired me to go on and make more games. However, I would like to do a level 2 Roblox studio course since I would like to go further in learning Lua (Roblox code) and make my own original scripts.

Toby really enjoyed the two week Roblox course and I think it worked well that it was for the few hours on the mornings. He focused really well and I think the tutor was excellent. We also really appreciated that he took the time to give Toby some one to one help before a session after Toby had got behind on the previous day.
The only comment we have is that Toby would have enjoyed more class input as most of the other students had their cameras and microphones off the majority of the time so it was quite an isolated learning experience. He did another virtual course this summer where all the group interacted and did projects in groups together online. You've already addressed this with us however and I totally understand that you cannot require students to turn on cameras and microphones if they are uncomfortable doing so.

A very good interactive Virtual learning for my son. Support was available from day 1 which makes the learning run smoothly. My son enjoyed the 2 weeks session where he always look forward to every morning. This proves he loved how the camp is organised and does not bore him. :) plus point on that.
Overall, it was a good decision to enroll our son and have found FunTech to develop the learning of codings for kids. Good job on making it professional and fun way in teaching kids in that age group and keeping them focus and attentive throughout the lesson. And also managing their time keeping.

Well done and will definitely look forward to enroll him for future sessions.

Funny days

My son enjoyed a lot during the classes, he was stuck to the computer while classes took place.
He didn't rest during breaks he was literally glued to the screen. He learned a lot and he discovered an unknown world of Roblox.

Funtech accept Childcare Vouchers and even virtually, they look after your child and keep them immersed and learning - great use of funds!
