It's quite complicated but it's taught really well and I understand it, I've enjoyed the week very much ;D Would definitely want to go here again

Epicness

3D gaming is the most complicated but extremely fun camp I've ever been to apart from minecraft redstone. It's taught very well by sam and i would like to go again!

Very Enjoyable

the course had a slow start but began to pick up pace towards the end. The Software we used was good and the our Tutor Sam was very kind and helpful. I found the course most enjoyable towards the end when we began to create our own code scripts and really started to personalize our games.

Very Interesting

I enjoyed the camp, and I've met lots of great people. Our Tutor is very nice, as is everyone else in my class. We had lots of fun times, but we have also learnt lots. I never found it boring, even the parts I struggled with. I would recommend it to my friends and would love to come back again.

Best time ever!

I did 3D game design and it was a great course the tutors put in 110% and the game design was so good for improving my knowledge on games and I will probably try coding next time.

This course is really imaginative so it's perfect for creative people. It teaches the basics of scripting, terrain modeling, entities and so many other amazing things. The tutors, Joe and Rishi were amazing and knew exactly how to keep us engaged.
Although I loved this course, I will admit that I personally preferred coding - which I did last year with the other tutor who taught this course, Joe. However, this is solely based on my preference when it comes to the content.

AWESOMELY EPIC 100% FANTASTIC

I enjoyed this camp loads! Learning how to edit entities, make terrain and make my own scripts was amazing! No wonder FunTech is called FunTech, it really is fun!

Best Camp I've Been To!

The tutors are really funny really kind and play football with us at break! I have learnt a lot here and will enjoy doing another camp next holiday! I think that anyone would enjoy this and I had an amazing week here!

The overall quality of the facility is good, situated inside a school ICT room, with an array of macs and air conditioning. Within the first few days, you are taught how to use the 3d game designing software Game Guru ( For me here at least ) and to familiarize with. Overall, the software simplifies game designing and will introduce the basics, such as building the terrain, giving entities (objects) artificial intelligence and scripts. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend the course to amateurs who have interest in games and making games in particular. Regarding other attendee, we share similar interest in games and made the experience more enjoyable and helped each other when objective being given by the tutor.

Good course, I learnt many game design techniques that I can apply to other software. As good as the teaching and instruction was, I was slightly let down by Game Guru's limitations. Otherwise it was a good introduction and overall a good course.

3D Game Design at Funtech was a very enjoyable experience for not only that week but all so as a life skill. All of the tutors are very friendly and will try to make sure you are having fun whilst learning at the same time.

I found the course really exciting and fun. It was a great experience to have. The activities were really fun. And the 3D game design course was really interesting and fulfilling. Our tutor, Giorgio, was really nice, funny and helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone.

The week was very informative. It taught us a lot, but kept us interested and happy with fun activities and friendly teachers. I would recommend it to anyone who had an interest in tech, or anyone hoping to learn some more about the wide world of computing. Incredible week, best part of my summer.

As I'm a few weeks off being 14 it was questionable whether or not I would be able to fit in with the younger groups available to this course. I will recommend this camp for many reasons..

The course is challenging. It requires a certain intellect, and is both challenging enough, but not too difficult that those who struggle more with problems. When you need help, Nick is ready to help with his catchphrase "Have you tried turning it on and off again?" before coming over to see the problem.
The course's contents teach you much for the future, and I have learnt many new techniques including some basic Lua scripting.

Nick himself is humorous, yet serious. If you're struggling he's more than happy to help, and he happily explains with more description and examples.

This camp was interesting and fun, our teacher had a good understanding of the topics and help me when needed. I understood most things he said and I found the topic very challenging. It was fun in class and when we finished the work we had some fun discussions extended our knowledge of the subject area. Break was good too because we ate snacks and sometimes we played card games. At lunch we went outside and played football and capture the flag. All in all it was fun and i highly suggest anyone to try it out.

I would definitely come back here as really, the only problem we encountered was problems with computers at our location, and overall I had a great time.

the first day i thought that it was gonna be boring but i was there for like 2 mins ad it was the opposite of boring.
