fun tech is really fun all the tutors are so amazing funny and helpful. the venue is really nice. and the videos are really helpful and informative I have learnt so much the only thing that would make it better is to stop blowing my mind with brand new interesting code.

This Python Coder course is absolutely amazing. My tutor is very passionate about coding, and he taught Python very well. Before the course, I knew things like print(), if, for index in range:, input(), some of the Turtle library, and a little bit of the Random library so I found the course easy the first day or two. Now, I know things like multi-dimensional lists, variable types, while loops, string manipulation, counters, and loads more. Every day of my course, I never wanted it to end and when I woke up, I wanted to get on it early. Python is now part of my life.
I LOVE FUNTECH, I LOVE PYTHON, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was really fun(tech))))) to be doing this course.  no winsound. This course was the first I've ever done and I thought it was really good. Definitely one of the best coding camps I've ever taken.

Good for beginners

This course started with the basics, which was good. The tutor was really supportive and gave us time to complete each task.

The course requires a bit of pre-installation to get going but the instructions were pretty clear and we were able to get going on time. Unfortunately the first half day was spent it seems with trying to get everyone else up to the same level. Once the course got going Jacob found it very simple and I often found him playing on his phone whilst waiting for others to catch up. The course did get more challenging for him but he always seemed to be sat around, waiting for others to catch up. This was the main disappointment for me, he is obviously more capable of going faster and have more challenging work set, but the course has to get everyone along at the same pace. Such a shame - he has the same issue at school, so not just a Funtech thing. But I feel that adding in extension exercises or bringing in concepts like test driven development, documentation generation, things like that would keep the more able engaged and off their phones.

I myself am in IT and thought the curriculum was a little light, and the stuff that they were coding, whilst teaching the basics, didn't seem to be engaging or exciting. Python has some great gaming libraries and graphics capabilities so it would have been good to see something at the end of the week where the students plot a graph or draw a pie chart or navigate a skier down a slope or similar.

But, at the end of the day, when asked, Jacob said he enjoyed the course and learned something new. And that's what it is all about. So no complaints - take the above as suggestions.

They were kept engaged throughout the sessions and were very complimentary of the instructors. The instructors also seem very committed to their learning, with one of then calling after class to check that one of them had understood an area that she had questioned during class.

We are extremely happy with FunTech. Our 9 year-old son has an interest in coding. He thoroughly enjoyed the course. The materials and sessions are interactive and very well prepared. After short theoretical introductions, which are made very engaging and interesting, the children work in practical exercises with the support of the tutor. My son learnt a lot and also had fun. I have now decided to register him for the term time courses. Excellent course!

The course was great but what impressed me even more was FunTech's real desire to make sure that every child was on a course for their level, that they were enjoying it and were learning. It was genuine care not a case of taking your money and that was it. My son found his original course too challenging so the Fun Tech team got on the phone and rang me with suggestions for alternatives. They clearly wanted to make it a great experience for him. I wouldn't hesitate to book again with FunTech.

Cirrus camp worked very well, and was incredibly convenient, though I think they may have benefitted even more from being on location and having someone literally looking over their shoulder. My son says ‘amazing’

In his words “Teacher was nice. It was fun. Helpful teacher. Learnt a lot. Other kids were nice. Can now do lots of loops” (whatever that is!!).
From my point of view, he was happy and engaged and enjoyed each session.

i liked Pycharm coding because it was fun to make games and learn hot to code on a computer.the game was particularly fun.

I learned a lot from all the Funtech courses over my life but I think I most enjoyed this one the most, as I want to be a coder for robots as I grow up and I think this has improved my skill on what I had no idea of what I was doing at the start, now I can code with confidence. I enjoyed this course a lot, highlights for me being doing the rock paper scissors and also the final connect four. At some points it was quite annoying doing the programming and it not working but I think that was just programming being programming, and it was good when I asked for help and it was sorted out. A couple times in the final project I thought I wasn't going to be able to do it because I thought it needed more complex code which we hadn't done yet, but when I asked for help the tutor helped me and it also made me realise that it was possible to do the code with the stuff we'd learnt. Really enjoyed the course and I'm pretty sure that after all this lockdown stuff ends I'll carry on with funtech doing the programming because my dad suggested it and it was very fun. Thanks a lot especially the tutor for helping me out many times and also for teaching everything :)

This course was so much fun and I learnt everything about the basics of python. I was able to do lots of practical coding as well as learning all of the different concepts. I feel much more confident in python and I can apply these skills while in school.

AMAZING Jonty

these last 10 days have been some of the most fun of my life! This is because of the range of topics we learnt in such a short period of time and how we could actually code a game after just ten days!
As i said this was a great experience and highly recommend it to all of my friends.

An amazing coding camp

I really enjoyed this python camp because I was able to understand all of the concepts that we learned and I was able to create alot of good programs. I was also able to complete all the activities that were given and I was able to make new friends in this camp.

I learnt a lot in these past two weeks, and enjoyed all of it very much. The teacher was very friendly and helped me whenever I had trouble understanding things. It became quite challenging towards the end, but that aspect made it more enjoyable, and I got the concepts in the end.
